MULTITENANT VIDEO INTERCOM DOOR STATION
A wireless, multitenant video intercom door station is provided, along with methods for operating same. A common door station may be installed near a property entry door. The common door station may be utilized to select a desired tenant, and identify one or more tenant door stations and/or tenant personal electronic devices associated with the desired tenant. Notifications may be transmitted to the tenant door stations and/or devices. A tenant may respond to the notification to initiate a video intercom session. Communications may be routed through a cloud server for recording of communication content and/or activity logging.
Systems and methods for positioning a user of a hands-free intercommunication system
A hands-free intercom may include a user-tracking sensor, a directional microphone, a directional sound emitter, a display device, and/or a communication interface. The user-tracking sensor may determine a location of a user so the directional microphone can measure vocal emissions by the user and the directional sound emitter can deliver audio to the user. The hands-free intercom may induce the user to move to a desired location and/or to stay within a connectivity area. The hands-free intercom may also or instead induce the user to face in a desired orientation. The directional sound emitter and/or the display device may induce the user by explicitly indicating the desired location, by adjusting an apparent source of the audio or video, by changing quality of delivered audio or video based on user position, by producing irritating audio or video, and/or the like.
Portable Sound Generator Apparatus
An apparatus for generating alerting sounds and broadcasting the same into the interior of a building so that an occupant can be made aware of an emergency, warning, etc. or of the building for various other purposes such as to greet a visitor or accept a package or sign documents from a transporter drone or robot. The sounds are generated by an exciter feature of a transducer held in a case, the exciter feature being able to be pressed against an exterior surface. The transducer vibrates its exciter feature in correspondence with audio signals transmitted to the transducer to broadcast corresponding sounds into the interior of the building by resonance induced in the door or other building member by the vibrating exciter feature. The sounds may resemble conventional alerting sounds such as a knocking or ringing sounds, and/or can be a spoken message either prerecorded in an audio source or created contemporaneously by being spoken by a user into a microphone. The device may be hand carried door to door as by delivery personnel and emergency workers and used to effectively alert occupants and eliminate the need for hand knocking or yelling a message through the door, or is mounted to a drone, robot, or other transporter device, or to some other portable device. The device may also be used to broadcast sounds in an open area by holding the exciter feature against a sign board or other structure in an open area.
Wireless communication USB dongle
A communication device that may be removably coupled to a USB port, the device having a processor and non-volatile memory and configured to execute code, including code for receiving a wireless transmission including an alert signal from a second device, where the second device is a wireless doorbell, code for sounding an alarm via an audio or visual indicator on the communication device in response to the alert signal, code for receiving input from a user and transmitting a response signal to the second device, and code for allowing two-way audio communication between the communication device and the wireless doorbell.
Doorbell communication and electrical systems
A doorbell system can include a doorbell and a chime. The chime can emit a notification sound in response to a visitor pressing a button of the doorbell. Electrical switches can be electrically coupled between the doorbell and the chime to control the flow of electricity to the chime. In some embodiments, the switches prevent the chime from emitting notification sounds.
MULTIPLE DWELLING HOUSE INTERPHONE SYSTEM
A multiple dwelling house interphone system includes a collective entrance machine and a dwelling room master device. Each automatic door requires an unlock operation to pass through for proceeding to each area, and a part of the areas are occupied by facilities other than dwelling units. The collective entrance machine includes a card information input section, and the automatic doors each include an unlock operation section for unlocking using the card medium. The collective entrance machine further includes a card authentication section, an unlocking door storage section, and a card information storage section. The card authentication section permits the unlocking by the card medium when the information input to the card information input section matches the information registered in the card information storage section. The permitted card medium enables unlocking the automatic door stored in the unlocking door storage section in association with the information of the card medium.
eReceptionist and eNeighborhood watch system for crime prevention and/or verification
A system comprising a camera sensor, a circuit and an identification device. The camera sensor may be configured to generate video data of an environment. The circuit may be configured to (A) communicate with a network through a wireless connection, (B) provide an electrical connection to (i) a plurality of components and (ii) the camera sensor and (C) enable at least one of (i) the components and (ii) the camera sensor in response to an authentication signal. The identification device may be configured to generate the authentication signal. The plurality of components may be configured to implement a virtual receptionist. The video data may be transmitted to the network. The authentication signal may be transmitted using the network. The notifications may be generated by the components.
Door locking device and a smart door apparatus
A door locking device for a smart door apparatus (10) is provided comprising an interior door handle positionable on an interior side of a door; an exterior door handle positionable on an exterior side of the door (14); a lock for the door (14) which is coupled to the interior door handle, the lock having a deadbolt which is activatable by actuation of the interior door handle; a controller for automatically generating an alert signal in the event of activation of the deadbolt; and a wireless communication module associated with the controller, the wireless communication module automatically transmitting the alert signal in the event of activation of the deadbolt.
POWER OUTLET CAMERAS
A security system can can be configured to mount to a power outlet. The security system can include a detection system comprising a camera, motion detector, speaker, microphone, and a pair of electrical prongs arranged and configured to protrude into the power outlet to receive power for the detection system. The security system can also include a remote computing device communicatively coupled to the detection system.
Sharing Information Regarding Video Footage from Audio/Video Recording and Communication Devices using Doorbell Notification Devices
