An object of the present disclosure is to provide a management apparatus, a communication apparatus, a system, a method, and a program capable of providing a service that meets a targeted KPI. A management apparatus according to the present disclosure includes: KPI management means for acquiring a target Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of a service that is provided to a communication terminal by a business operator; operation state acquisition means for acquiring element data regarding a component necessary for the service, the element data indicating a feature of a control system of the service; KPI prediction means for calculating a predicted KPI which is a predicted value of the KPI of the service based on the element data; and communication performance calculation means for, when the KPI is defined so that a value becomes lower as performance becomes better, detecting the component in which the predicted KPI is equal to or greater than the target KPI.

A method of operating a captioned telephone call in which an assisted user's (AU's) captioned device is connected by a first line to a hearing user's (HU's) device and by a second line to a relay providing captioning for a conversation is disclosed. The method includes capturing an AU's voice signal via a microphone, transmitting the voice signal from the captioned device to the HU's device on the first line, obtaining a combined voice signal including both users' voice signals from the first line at the captioned device, cancelling the AU's voice signal from the combined signal to generate an independent HU voice signal, broadcasting the HU's voice signal via a speaker, transmitting the independent HU's voice signal to the relay, receiving captions at the captioned device from the relay corresponding to the HU's voice signal, and presenting the captions as text on a display screen.

A network that is to execute transcoding is fixed. IMS networks (SBC 1a and SBC 1b) set an information element that requests either of the IMS networks to execute transcoding into the SDP, and use that information element to select the IMS network (SBC 1a or SBC 1b) that is to execute transcoding between the IMS networks (between SBC 1a and SBC 1b). Then, the selected IMS network executes transcoding of media data.

A network that is to execute transcoding is fixed. IMS networks (SBC 1a and SBC 1b) set an information element that requests either of the IMS networks to execute transcoding into the SDP, and use that information element to select the IMS network (SBC 1a or SBC 1b) that is to execute transcoding between the IMS networks (between SBC 1a and SBC 1b). Then, the selected IMS network executes transcoding of media data.

Provided is a voice communication system that notifies a terminal device of transmission restriction information when the number of received voice signals reaches a predetermined number. A server device continuously counts the number of simultaneously received voice signals. A first terminal device transmits, to the server device, a voice signal with identification information of a second terminal device. The server device transfers, to the second terminal device, the voice signal transmitted from the first terminal device. However, when the number of simultaneous receptions of the voice signals reaches a predetermined restriction value, the server device transfers, to the second terminal device, the received voice signal with transmission restriction information attached thereto. The second terminal device does not transmit a voice signal, even if a user performs a transmission operation, during reception of the voice signal with the attached transmission restriction information.

A HART modem includes: a HART/Host communication conversion unit, which relays communication between a HART device and a diagnostic device or a host device; a communication waveform detection unit configured to record data sampled from HART communication signals transmitted and received to and from the HART device in a communication waveform temporary storage unit; a communication content monitoring unit configured to monitor contents of HART communication and instruct the communication waveform detection unit to start recording and stop the recording of data according to a signal acquisition timing specified by a user; and a waveform acquisition management unit configured to transmit data accumulated in the communication waveform temporary storage unit to the diagnostic device when the recording of the data is stopped.

A method includes determining that data out of a peripheral device has been interrupted. In response, control signals are transmitted that cause power to not be supplied to the peripheral device and then cause power to be supplied to the peripheral device. If the peripheral device is determined to not be outputting data, whether data into the peripheral device has been restored is determined. If it is not, control signals are transmitted that cause power to not be supplied to a router and then cause power to be supplied to the router. If the router is determined to be outputting data, control signals are transmitted that cause power to not be supplied to a wireless access point that is coupled to the modem and then cause power to be supplied to the wireless access point. Whether the wireless access point is outputting data is determined.

Sharing data by defining a data encoding table, maintaining a data record database, defining a data encryption code, providing the data encryption code with an outgoing call, receiving an audio response including encrypted data, decrypting the encrypted data, and updating the data record database according to the data.

A captioning system includes an assisted user's communication system, including a display screen, a microphone, a speaker, an input device for specifying a calling number of a hearing user's communication device, and a processor linked to the display screen microphone, speaker and input device. The processor is programmed to perform the steps of: (i) upon entry of a calling number via the input device, scanning the calling number, (ii) identifying a type of the calling number; (iii) where the type is a first type, performing a first process to initiate a remote captioning service; and (iv) where the type is a second type, performing a second process to initiate a remote captioning service where the second process is different than the first process.

A programmable signal generator and radio controller for providing dispatch paging tone out frequencies to first responders and other selected areas. The signal generator is capable of performing tone-outs to various first responders and being cross compatible with prior and future evolutionary systems. The signal generator uses plain-text console interface and plain-text tone-out parameter definitions allowing programming without special software, apps, or Internet connectivity. The signal generator is capable of controlling operational functions of connected radio transceiver equipment including initiating and terminating RF transmission, selecting radio channel or frequency, and monitoring operational status of the transceiver. The signal generator is also capable of interactive communication with external third-party digital radio dispatch console systems via Ethernet network and TCP/IP protocol via an isolated network interoperability interface that implements a simple Application Program Interface (API).
