PROGRAMMABLE SIGNAL GENERATOR AND RADIO CONTROLLER
A programmable signal generator and radio controller for providing dispatch paging tone out frequencies to first responders and other selected areas. The signal generator is capable of performing tone-outs to various first responders and being cross compatible with prior and future evolutionary systems. The signal generator uses plain-text console interface and plain-text tone-out parameter definitions allowing programming without special software, apps, or Internet connectivity. The signal generator is capable of controlling operational functions of connected radio transceiver equipment including initiating and terminating RF transmission, selecting radio channel or frequency, and monitoring operational status of the transceiver. The signal generator is also capable of interactive communication with external third-party digital radio dispatch console systems via Ethernet network and TCP/IP protocol via an isolated network interoperability interface that implements a simple Application Program Interface (API).
Systems and Methods of Braille Transceiving
Disclosed herein are example embodiments of systems and methods of braille transceiving. A braille input output transceiving device (BIOTD) comprises a transceiving module configured to receive braille codes, encode the braille codes into DTMF tones, and transmit the DTMF tones. The BIOTD enables transmission over various types of media, including audio DTMF tones and any networked communication device that can accept audio tones in the appropriate format.
Method and system for multiplexing DOCSIS signals
Aspects of methods and systems for frequency multiplexing suitable for Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) are provided. A system for multiplexing signals according to frequency comprises a DOCSIS port interface, an upstream interface, a downstream interface, and a circulator subsystem. The DOCSIS port interface comprises a plurality of channel filters. The upstream interface is operably coupled to a first channel filter of the plurality of channel filters, and the downstream interface is operably coupled to a second channel filter of the plurality of channel filters. The circulator subsystem is able to direct a first signal from the upstream interface to the DOCSIS port interface and is able to direct a second signal from the DOCSIS port interface to the downstream interface.
System for interconnecting devices for creating automation systems
The various embodiments provide a system for interconnecting a plurality of devices for budding automation systems. The system comprising on or more sensor units to transmit data along with a sensor device address an a network, one or more actuator units to receive the transmitted data, a monitoring unit to receive, monitor and record the transmitted data, a control unit to monitor functioning of devices on the network and transmit data to the actuators, a link unit to extend range of the network by retransmitting the signals received from one cable to other cables and an interface unit to convert signals to and from the network into a format of another communication protocol. The network comprises a plurality of devices connected to a single cable to communicate with other devices on the network by generating charge disturbances and detecting the charge disturbances propagated over the cable.
Home appliance diagnosis system and diagnosis method for same
The present invention relates to a home appliance diagnosis system and to a diagnosis method for same, and more particularly, to a home appliance diagnosis system and to a diagnosis method for same, which involve receiving product information on the home appliance, which is outputted in a predetermined signal form from the home appliance, and analyzing the received product information to check the condition of the home appliance and to diagnose faults in the home appliance. According to the present invention, a diagnosis server easily extracts product information from a signal, and improves the accuracy of the product information through a multi-stage verification process when the diagnosis server outputs product information from the signal received thereat to diagnose the home appliance, to thereby achieve improved accuracy and reliability of the result of the diagnosis based on the product information.
BROADBAND WATCHDOG
A network watchdog and reset device determines that a signal into a modem device has been interrupted. In response to determining that the signal into the modem device has been restored, the device transmits control signals that cause power to the modem device to be cycled. In response to determining that the modem device is outputting data, the device transmits control signals that cause power to a router device to be cycled. In response to determining that the router device is outputting data, the device transmits control signals that cause power to a wireless access point device to be cycled. In response to determining that the wireless access point device is outputting data, the device transmits control signals that cause power to a peripheral device such as a security camera to be cycled.
Communication Method, Communication Apparatus, Communication System, and Communication Program
A network that is to execute transcoding is fixed. IMS networks (SBC 1a and SBC 1b) set an information element that requests either of the IMS networks to execute transcoding into the SDP, and use that information element to select the IMS network (SBC 1a or SBC 1b) that is to execute transcoding between the IMS networks (between SBC 1a and SBC 1b). Then, the selected IMS network executes transcoding of media data.

Information processing apparatus that executes IP facsimile communication and a job other than the IP facsimile communication, and information processing method of executing IP facsimile communication and a job other than the IP facsimile communication
An information processing apparatus (10) includes a processor capable of executing IP facsimile communication and a job other than the IP facsimile communication, a facsimile tone signal being transmitted/received as audio data in the IP facsimile communication; a storage (12) that stores a first or second level, which represents a mode for executing the IP facsimile communication; and a control unit (11) that determines whether the first or second level is stored in the storage, respectively selects a first mode and a second mode when determining that the first level and the second level are stored in the storage, and when receiving an execution instruction of the IP facsimile communication in the first mode and the second mode, respectively causes the processor to stop an uncompleted job and then preferentially execute the IP facsimile communication, and to execute an uncompleted job and the IP facsimile communication in parallel.
Transcoder Assignment for Real-time Text
Transcoder assignment for real-time text (RTT) is described. A service provider can send an offer to establish a RTT call with a first device to an alternate service provider associated with a second device. The alternate service provider can transmit the offer to the second device, which can decline the offer. The alternate service provider can receive a response indicating that the second device declined the offer and, based on receiving the response, can determine whether the second device supports RTT. If the second device does not support RTT, the alternate service provider can add an indictor to the response that indicates that the second device does not support RTT. The alternate service provider can send the response (and the indicator) to the service provider, and the service provider can establish the RTT call without assigning a transcoder to the RTT call.
