System, method, and computer program for providing device centric payment authorization in roaming conditions
A system, method, and computer program product are provided for providing device centric payments in roaming conditions. In operation, a device requests service from a visiting communication network. The device provides an identity associated with the device. The device records an amount of service utilized (e.g. utilizing blockchain technology, etc.). The device submits the amount of service utilized to the visiting network or to a blockchain, such that the visiting network is capable of determining whether the amount of service utilized recorded by the device is similar to an amount of service usage measured by the visiting network (e.g. when an established credit limit available has been utilized, etc.).
Device-Assisted Services for Protecting Network Capacity
Device Assisted Services (DAS) for protecting network capacity is provided. In some embodiments, DAS for protecting network capacity includes monitoring a network service usage activity of the communications device in network communication; classifying the network service usage activity for differential network access control for protecting network capacity; and associating the network service usage activity with a network service usage control policy based on a classification of the network service usage activity to facilitate differential network access control for protecting network capacity.
Mobile communication device monitoring systems and methods
Systems and methods are directed to monitoring the communications to and from a mobile communication device in accordance with one or more embodiments. For example in accordance with an embodiment, data services a mobile communication device's applications may be monitored against smart contracts stored in a central data center repository and/or written to a blockchain. Other data services may include all forms of communications between the mobile communication device and a third party along with changes to application or data within the mobile communication device. Monitoring the mobile communication device may be done to determine compliance with the smart contracts and whether a penalty or reward on device usage should be applied.
Method and apparatus of secure charging for device-to-device service
A method of secure charging for a device-to-device service may comprise: recording charging information of a device-to-device service between a first user equipment and a second user equipment, wherein the charging information is associated at least with the first user equipment; generating a first report comprising the charging information, wherein the first report is protected by a security key of the first user equipment; and sending the first report to a network node by the first user equipment, wherein the first report is used for charging for the device-to-device service together with a second report generated at the second user equipment, and wherein the second report comprises charging information associated at least with the device-to-device service of the second user equipment and is protected by a security key of the second user equipment.
Synchronous interfacing with unaffiliated networked systems to alter functionality of sets of electronic assets
Systems and methods for managing a set of electronic assets from a single location are disclosed. The method includes providing a portal with a network security access control. The method includes determining that login credentials input to the access control are associated with a set of electronic assets corresponding to a plurality of third-party computing systems with application programming interface (API) gateways configured to accept API calls directed to changes in functionality of the electronic assets. The method includes presenting, via the portal, a virtual icon to identify a coordinated action with respect to the set of electronic assets and, in response to a selection of the virtual icon, executing a set of API calls that include an asset-specific API call to each third-party computing system in the plurality of third-party computing systems to implement the coordinated action on all electronic assets in the set of electronic assets.

Hybrid network based metering server and tracking client for wireless services
A process of tracking usage of a wireless device in a third party wireless network with a metering system includes implementing the metering system in a network separate from the third party wireless network and activating the wireless device in response to identification of the wireless device and confirmation of use of a tracking system to the metering system. The process further includes obtaining, by the metering system, an amount of wireless services used by the wireless device. The obtaining includes at least one of obtaining an amount of wireless services used from the third party wireless network and obtaining an amount of wireless services used from the tracking system.
