METHODS AND NODES FOR UE-TO-UE EVENT MONITORING
A network exposure node receives a reference identity for the network exposure node in a first monitoring message from a first network node. The network exposure node further retrieves, based on the reference identity for the network exposure node, an identity list of one or more subscriber UEs, which subscribed to monitoring of an event, and configuration information for the one or more subscriber UEs, which are stored in the network exposure node. The network exposure node then determines, based on the identity list and the configuration information, a second network node associated with a subscriber UE in the identity list. Next, the network exposure node transmits a report for the monitoring of the event in a second monitoring message to the determined second network node.
INFORMATION CONFIGURATION METHOD, NETWORK APPARATUS, AND TERMINAL
An information configuration method, a network apparatus, a terminal, a chip, a computer readable storage medium, a computer program product and a computer program are provided. The method includes: receiving a usage information reporting configuration sent by a network apparatus, wherein the usage information reporting configuration is used to configure reporting of usage information of a terminal, and the network apparatus is a 5G core network apparatus; and reporting, based on the usage information report configuration, usage information generated by direct communication with another terminal to the network device.
CERTIFICATION AND ACTIVATION OF USED PHONES ON A WIRELESS CARRIER NETWORK
Telecommunication services systems and methods are disclosed. The telecommunication services systems and methods preferably enable a buyer to certify and activate a used wireless telecommunications device. The systems and methods may also be employed to provide the buyer with specialized pricing options and other customized services.
Toll-free telecommunications and data management platform
A Toll-Free Management Platform (TFMP) includes methods and systems for number administration, customer administration, call management services, texting services and text registry, and a smart services registry. The TFMP may allow users to receive through a web-based interface, an activate request from a user, wherein the request includes at least a customer record template reference and an indication of when to active a toll-free telecommunications number associated with the request. The request may include at least one IP address datum associated with the toll-free telecommunications number. A user interface may allow activating a toll-free number, and users may access the TFMP to create and access existing templates of toll-free call routing templates, and utilize a routing tree engine to create customized call routing trees for the toll-free numbers of interest to the user.
PAIR-THE-PLAN SYSTEM FOR DEVICES AND METHOD OF USE
A computer-implemented method and system are disclosed for connecting one or more devices to subscriptions and cellular or other wireless billing plans. The method includes enrolling the one or more devices enabled for connectivity to cellular or other wireless service in a cellular or other wireless subscription and associated billing plan, wherein the enrollment includes providing an identifier for the one or more devices to a cellular or other wireless service provider chosen by a second user, and allowing the second user to use capabilities of the one or more devices governed by the cellular or other wireless subscription and an associated billing plan chosen by the second user; while the one or more devices are also configured to allow a first user to use capabilities of the one or more devices as governed by the cellular or other wireless subscription and an associated billing plan of the first user's choice.
System and method of interfacing multiple platforms to generate a customized graphical user interface
A system is disclosed that comprises a presentation system configured to receive a request from a wireless communication service customer and initiate an application programming interface call to an action tool. The system also comprises the action tool that accesses and analyzes customer analytics data and determines and sends potential actions based on the analysis to a rules engine. The system additionally comprises the rules engine that applies rules to select and send an action to the presentation system. The presentation system is further configured to generate and provide a customized GUI comprising a selectable button corresponding to the action to a display of an electronic device associated with the customer. The system further comprises a provisioning system configured to provision the customer with a different wireless communication service plan in response to the electronic device receiving an input to the customized GUI indicating selection of the selectable button.
Data-plan-based quality setting suggestions and use thereof to manage content provider services
A user device described herein suggests a change to a quality setting associated with the consumption of content from one or more content providers. The change is suggested based both on a user's data plan and on a service quality of content received by the user device. This user-selected quality setting is then provided to the telecommunication network, which reduces network resources available for transmission of the content based on the quality setting. Such reduced network resources cause the content providers to provide content at a service quality no greater than the quality setting. Also, the user may be presented with or defaulted to selecting an option for a program offering consumption of the video content free of charge when provided to the user at a limited service quality. When the user participates, consumption of video content is then conditionally excluded from a consumption metric of the data plan.
Application programming interface (API) to provide network metrics and network resource control to users
Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing network application programming interface (“API”), and, more particularly, API to provide network metrics and network resource control to users. In some embodiments, a computing system might receive customer network telemetry data from a first network via a gateway API, might receive service provider network telemetry data from a second network(s) via a network API, might compile the customer network telemetry data and the service provider network telemetry data, might receive a request from a user to access information regarding network services associated with the user, might filter the compiled customer network telemetry data and the compiled service provider network telemetry data to isolate first telemetry data and second telemetry data, respectively, might provide the user with access to at least one of the first telemetry data or the second telemetry data, and might provide the user with options to control network resources.
Associating vehicle user equipment with customer mobile accounts
A server device can, in response to a mobile device request, facilitate presentation of a login page via a mobile device. The login page can prompt for access credentials to a user account associated with mobile communications services and associated with a user identity, wherein a displayed link by an in-vehicle user equipment enabled the mobile device to request the login page. Based on a receipt of the access credentials from the mobile device, the server device can facilitate displaying a prompt, via the mobile device, for entry of an activation code, wherein the activation code was displayed by the in-vehicle user equipment along with the displayed link. The server device can receive a submitted code from the mobile device, and in response to the submitted code being determined to match the activation code, pairing the in-vehicle user equipment with the user account.
Omni-channel electronic communication system and method
There is provided a method of providing a multi-channel electronic communication capability allowing a provider to communicate with a plurality of end user terminals corresponding to a plurality of terminal platforms. The method comprises: providing a repository of mini applications being executable on all of the plurality of the terminal platforms. A function and an appearance of the mini applications is editable by the provider. The mini applications are configured to be stored and executed on the end user terminals. The method also comprises providing a WYSIWYG layout editor engine in communication with the repository. The layout editor engine is configured to allow the provider to build a communication interface corresponding to each of the plurality of terminal platforms.
