SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CARRIER SETTLEMENT USING BLOCKCHAIN
A framework is provided for blockchain-based customer dispute management of wholesale telecommunications claims. A network device receives a telecommunication claim to dispute an invoice from a provider network. The provider network and a partner network that includes the network device are related through a wholesale telecommunications agreement. The network device validates the telecommunication claim based on information in a distributed ledger of the distributed consensus network. The distributed ledger includes transaction information generated by the provider network for the partner network under the wholesale telecommunications agreement. The network device adjudicates the telecommunication claim based on information in the distributed ledger and instructions in a contract and updates the distributed ledger with the adjudicated claim.
Multi-connectivity charging in heterogeneous networks
Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for charging in multi-connectivity systems. In some example embodiments, there may be provided a method that includes marking, by a first base station serving a user equipment, at least one packet to include a first indication indicating that the at least one packet was received directly at the first base station serving the user equipment; and marking, by the first base station, at least one other packet to include a second indication to indicate that the at least one other packet was received via a second base station also serving the user equipment. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.
DATA GAP BRIDGING METHODS AND SYSTEMS
A computer implemented method for decreasing latency in a billing cycle, the method comprising receiving a first charging data report (CDR) including a sent data volume from a vendor and comparing the first CDR to an operator received data volume and when the first CDR does not match the operator received data volume, rejecting the first charging report. The method further comprising providing a second CDR having the operator received data volume to the vendor, receiving a charging data acceptance including a negotiated data volume from the vendor, constructing a publicly verifiable proof of charging based on the charging data acceptance, and sending the publicly verifiable proof of charging to the vendor.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING SECURE 5G BY NON-CARRIER ENTITIES
An apparatus, method and system for communicating data between a data source and a client in a cellular communication network is disclosed. The cellular communication network includes a plurality of macro cells controlled by a cellular communication network and a plurality of relay nodes with each relay node controlled by an entity independent from the cellular communication network. The method includes receiving data from the data source in a relay node of the plurality of relay nodes; retransmitting the data from the relay node to the client; computing, in the relay node, a transaction having proof that the data was retransmitted from the relay node to the client; providing the transaction from the relay node to a transaction tracker; and receiving compensation for retransmitting the data from the relay node to the client, the compensation predicated on verification of the computed transaction.
Wireless service provider system and process for providing customizable wireless service for a wireless device
A wireless service provider system for authorizing wireless service on a wireless device includes a backend system. The backend system configured receive a request for the wireless service along with a monetary value of the wireless service in any requested amount from the connected device, receive a payment authorization or a verification of payment for the wireless service in the requested amount from the connected device, and receive a request from the connected device for allocating the wireless service.
Management server, communication system, notification method and program
Included are an outgoing call detection unit configured to detect an outgoing call from a first communication terminal to a second communication terminal, a connection control unit configured to cause the outgoing call detected by the outgoing call detection unit to arrive at the second communication terminal, a call duration measurement unit configured to measure a time from when a phone call is started, which is a duration of the phone call, between the first communication terminal and the second communication terminal, and a notification unit configured to transmit, when the duration measured by the call duration measurement unit exceeds a predetermined duration before the phone call ends, a predetermined notification to a third communication terminal.
Data resiliency of billing information
Managing transaction data during times of low network connectivity by organizing billing information for prioritized processing during periods of higher network connectivity. During low connectivity events, billing information is organized based, at least in part, on a combination of age and revenue to communicate important billing information upon reconnection.
Tariff data determining method and apparatus for creating the same
A tariff data determining method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining a call detail record set, wherein each call detail record includes a charging condition, a charging unit and a fee deduction that are under the charging condition; grouping a plurality of call detail records to obtain a call detail record group, wherein a same value corresponding to a charging unit in the call detail record group has a correspondence with a unique fee value corresponding to a fee deduction; analyzing the call detail record group to obtain a data feature; selecting a target tariff model corresponding to the data feature; determining a parameter value corresponding to each tariff parameter in the target tariff model; and determining tariff data based on the parameter value, the target tariff model, and the charging condition.
Correlation charging method, charging apparatus, and system
A correlation charging method and a charging apparatus, wherein the charging apparatus may determine, based on identifiers of a plurality of application servers in a notification message sent by a CSCF device, whether the charging apparatus receives charging request messages from all the ASs; then send a detection message to a first AS from which the charging apparatus has not received any charging request message, to detect a charging capability of the first AS; and learn of the charging capability of the first AS based on a response message returned by the first AS. In this way, the charging apparatus can learn of charging capabilities of all the ASs, and charge the service based on the charging capabilities of all the ASs in a unified manner.
METHODS FOR EVALUATING AND OPTIMIZING PREFERRED PROVIDER ORGANIZATION (PPO) NETWORK STACKS AND DEVICES THEREOF
Methods, non-transitory machine readable media, and network stack analysis devices that generate optimized preferred provider organization (PPO) network stacks are disclosed. With this technology, electronic transactions are applied to each of a first plurality of network stacks to determine a cost reduction value for each of the first network stacks. Each of the first network stacks includes an ordered subset of networks. The first network stacks are resampled based on the determined cost reduction values. A determination is made when one or more convergence criteria are met by the resampled first network stacks. When the determination indicates that the convergence criteria are not met by the resampled first network stacks, one or more of the first network stacks are modified based on genetic crossover or mutation operation(s) to generate a second plurality of network stacks. The application, resampling, and determination are then repeated for the second network stacks.
