A method and system are disclosed for connecting a device to subscriptions and cellular billing plans of separate users and for managing the concurrent use of the device by the separate users. A computer-implemented method comprises enrolling a device in a cellular subscription and billing plan of a user. The enrollment includes providing an identifier for the device to a cellular subscription, effectively adding the device to the cellular subscription and billing plan selected by the user. The method and system allows the user to use capabilities of the device as governed by the cellular subscription and an associated billing plan as selected by that user, while the device is also available for use by another user via another cellular billing plan, as selected by that user.

A system is provided enabling creation of a portal to telecommunications services managed by an enterprise user on behalf of accountholders of the enterprise. The system includes a first layer providing access to at least a business support system, an operational support system, a provisioning system, a home location register, and a billing system. The system also includes a second layer providing access to a wizard interface programmed for: creating a portal by the enterprise user with an application enabled to selectively access and/or modify data and settings accessible through a security layer from the first layer; and publishing the portal. A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a mapping table is transmitted to a user device. The mapping table includes, for each entry, an index, a frequency band, and wireless services available on the frequency band. Index information corresponding to a frequency band and wireless service available in a location associated with the user device is communicated to the user device. An icon associated with the wireless service is displayed on a display of the user device. A network device determines that the user device is using the wireless service to communicate via a wireless network and transmits, to a core network, an indication that the user device is using the wireless service on the frequency band.

Methods, a policy node and a charging node for enabling spending limit control for a user equipment in a telecommunication network. The policy node obtains an identifier related to the user equipment, an identifier of a policy counter and a set of policy counter statuses to be monitored by the policy node. The set of policy counter statuses are related to the identifier of the policy counter. The policy node sends, a request for reporting of policy counter statuses related to the user equipment for the policy counter. The request includes the identifier related to the user equipment, the identifier of the policy counter and the set of policy counter statuses. A policy counter status of the set of policy counter statuses is determined. The policy counter status has changed as determined by the charging node. A response to the request is sent and includes the policy counter status that has changed.

This disclosure is directed to techniques for directly managing, via a cellular modem device, an in-home Internet service subscription plan for using an in-home Internet service from a wireless carrier network. The cellular modem device may facilitate adjustment of the in-home Internet subscription plan by monitoring Internet service usage at the cellular modem device and then comparing a monitored Internet service usage with a corresponding threshold value. Based on this comparison, the cellular modem device may present to the subscriber a selection that correspond to different adjustments in the subscription plan. The cellular modem device may then send a request for adjustment to Internet service provider based on a user-entered selection and a notification is thereafter received by the cellular modem device for the adjustment of the subscription plan by the Internet service provider.

The disclosed system provides a facility for split billing for a single user on multiple billing systems. The disclosed system activates the user on each respective billing system using a unique pairing, such as an international mobile subscriber identity that identifies the user, and a mobile station international subscriber directory number that identifies a particular user device. As device data is routed through a telecommunication network via each access point name (APN), the network generates call detail records (CDRs), which include an indication of the APN used. The CDRs are routed to a mediation platform that uses the received APN information to route each CDR to the appropriate target billing system and to the appropriate service types.
