A game system is disclosed that comprises a game processor configured to control game play of an electronic video game, and a game controller in electronic communication with the game processor. The game controller includes a plurality of appendicular members configured for respective engagement with legs and arms of a user, and a resistance control system providing a resistive force on each of the plurality of appendicular members with respect to movement of the legs and arms of the user. The resistive force provided by the resistance control system is adjustable in a generally continuous manner in response to the game play of the electronic video game. The game controller also includes a feedback control system responsive to at least one of a motion parameter, a force parameter, and/or a position parameter of each of the plurality of appendicular members to control the game play of the electronic video game.
Assisted racking of digital resistance
Assisted racking of digital resistance includes detecting a state of a cable. A motor is mechanically coupled to the cable to provide resistance during an exercise by tensioning the cable. It further includes determining completion of the exercise based at least in part on the detected state of the cable. It further includes selectively removing resistance from the cable based at least in part on the determination that the user has completed the exercise.
MAT-TYPE EXERCISE DEVICE
Proposed is a mat-type exercise device. The mat-type exercise device may include a plurality of wheel modules. Each of the plurality of wheel modules is installed in the device body such that the wheel module can move between a protrusion position at which the wheel module protrudes from the lower surface of the device body and a retraction position at which the wheel module is retracted to the inside of the lower surface of the device body. Additionally, a plurality of switching modules switches the position of at least one of the plurality of wheel modules between the protrusion position and the retraction position. Accordingly, the mat-type exercise device is secured to move horizontally when the wheel module is located at the protrusion position, and stable exercise is secured when the wheel module is located at the retraction position.

The one or more processing devices are configured to execute the instructions to receive information from the one or more sensors. The one or more processing devices are further configured to execute the instructions to transmit the information to a computing device controlling an electromechanical device, via the one or more network interface cards.

A first determination that a range of motion of a user of an exercise machine is between pre-determined motion thresholds is made. While the range of motion of the user is between the pre-determined motion thresholds, a velocity of the cable being below a pre-determined velocity threshold is determined. In response to determining that the velocity of the cable being below the pre-determined velocity threshold while the range of motion of the user is between the pre-determined motion thresholds, a second determination that the user should be spotted is made, Torque of a motor is reduced based at least in part on the second determination that the user should be spotted.

Methods and systems are presented for accepting inputs into a treadmill or other exercise equipment to control functions of the treadmill or exercise equipment. An exercise control system can receive gestures and other inputs. The exercise control system can also obtain information about the user of the exercise control system and information about the environment in which the exercise equipment is operating. Based on the input and the other information, the exercise control system can modify or improve the performance or execution of user interface and functions of the exercise equipment. The changes make the user interfaces and/or functions user-friendly and intuitive.
