ADAPTIVE QUALITY OF SERVICE FOR ENTERPRISE TRAFFIC
In one embodiment, an apparatus comprising networking circuitry adapted to receive, at a mobile network operated by an SP, flows associated with enterprise applications executing on device(s) in an enterprise network, the device(s) including a CPE and/or one or more devices behind the CPE, and processing circuitry adapted to vary, during a duration in which there is IP connectivity between the CPE and the mobile network, a pool of dedicated bearers for binding the flows, in response to at least part of changes occurring during the duration with respect to the flows, wherein the changes include variations during the duration in number of the flows and/or differences during the duration in detected characteristics of the flows, the detected characteristics of the flows having been detected based on inspection of respective packet(s) of the flows, and bind at least part of the flows to respective dedicated bearers included in the pool.
Method and system of implementing an advanced multifunctional dialer capable of managing multiple calling accounts
A method, system and graphical user interface (GUI) for a mobile device, the GUI including: (a) at least one multifunctional button having at least two activation states: (i) a first state, when actuated, providing a basic function, and (ii) a second state, when actuated, providing an advanced function; whereby each of the activation states is actuated by a different user action; and (b) a plurality of calling accounts, each of the plurality of calling account being logically associated with a subscriber identity module (SIM) card or a direct inward dial (DID) number; wherein the at least one multifunctional button is configured to facilitate selection of one of the plurality of calling accounts in order to perform a communication event.
Multifunction wireless device
A communication device and system are disclosed for providing communication and data services to residents of a controlled facility. The device can be restricted to communicating only using an internet protocol so as to restrict the device communication to an internal intranet. Wireless access points may be disposed throughout the environment to route calls and data between the device and a central processing center. By converting a protocol of the communications received from the device to a protocol used by the central processing center, minimal modifications to the central processing center are needed to support a wireless communication infrastructure. Many restrictions and safeguards may be implemented within the phone and system in order to prevent improper use.
ONLINE CHARGING FOR MULTI-USER AGENT INSTANCES SERVED BY DIFFERENT TELEPHONY APPLICATION SERVERS
Techniques for allowing access based online charging in cases of multiple user agents (multi-UAs) scenarios where the instances are registered to different telephony application servers (TASs) are discussed herein. For example, a user device may support a native number and multiple virtual numbers linked via a user account. When servicing a call, the user device may determine a served number to service the call from. If the served number is not the native number but a virtual number, the native-line server may handle the call session, but the online charging session will be handled by the virtual-line server. The native-line server may use session initiation protocol (SIP) information to send updated information for charging parameters to the virtual-line server, including network access transfer for accuracy in online charging logic.

DYNAMIC SUBSCRIBER PROFILE MANAGEMENT
A dynamic subscriber profile management system allows subscriber device profiles to be selected and applied based on the subscriber profile based on device type, a location of the device, or a combination of both. The system may receive information relating to the subscriber, the type of device, and the location of the device to perform a lookup of available profiles or profile settings and either update an existing profile for current use or select a profile from a catalog of available profiles.

Facilitation of follow-the-user data service for 5G or other next generation network
Follow-the-user (FTU) service can be implemented within a telecommunication data services platform to provide flexibility for end users to use their service subscriptions with any capable devices/vehicles. Currently, service subscriptions are generally tied to one device/vehicle that can be used to access the services, instead of the actual end user who uses the services. Therefore, a device/vehicle identifier can be utilized in accordance with an online billing and identification platform to identify end-user subscribers and associate their subscription services to a device/vehicle for which they are utilizing collect service usage, as well as to assign to its owner for the billing.
CHARGING APPARATUS, METHOD, SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY MEDIUM
User identification information for identifying a user of a first terminal connecting to a communication network of a virtual communication operator via a communication network of a first communication operator is specified, and, based on the user identification information, charging for communication of the first terminal and charging for a service that the virtual communication operator is enabled to provide to the user identified by the user identification information are managed.
