Arm extension exercise apparatus
Apparatus for performing an arm extension exercise comprising: a frame, a seat having a seating surface (S), an elbow pad having an engaging surface (ES), an input arm assembly interconnected to a resistance mechanism and a manually graspable mechanism, the input arm assembly being adapted to reside in a start motionless position (SMP) that disposes the manually graspable mechanism in a start exercise position (SEP) that is disposed vertically above UW) the user's elbows, the input arm assembly being pivotable around a linear axis disposed rearwardly of the user's elbow.
TRAINING GUIDANCE INSTRUMENT AND TRAINING GUIDANCE METHOD USING THE SAME
A training guidance instrument 200 includes a pressor part 2091, a heel placing part 2092A, and a control unit including rotary members 210 and 214, support members 211 and 215, rotary parts 202A and 202B, support members 212 and 216, and telescopic members 219 and 220. The control unit is configured to move the heel placing part 2092A toward the ground in response to application of a force Pw2 toward the ground which is stronger than upward force applied on the heel placing part 2092A when the heel placing part 2092A is positioned above and away from the ground and move the heel placing part 2092A upward in response to application of weaker force toward the ground than the force Pw2 on the heel placing part 2092A, while the second joint and third joints of the toes of the trainee are pressed by the pressor part 2091 and the heel is placed on the heel placing part 2092A.
Exercise machine
A system and method of using an exercise system having a resistance structure of handles connected to cables, which cables are connected to at least one pneumatic cylinder that creates resistance, wherein the resistance is adjusted by the user via actuators in the handles, so that the user does not need to release the handles to adjust the resistance. The system is typically supported by a frame to surround the user, and the pneumatic cylinder may be connected to an equalizing tank that may be housed within or integrated into the frame. The system may include a monitor to visually display system parameters and other information to the user. The system may calculate resistance and work done by the user by measuring piston displacement and speed, as well as using accelerometers or other devices integrated into the handles.
Self-housed portable exercise equipment
Exercise equipment includes a case having first and second parts. The first part is movable relative to the second part and defines a closed state in which an interior compartment is defined and an open state in which the interior compartment is accessible. The first and second parts each have a bottom panel and at least one side panel extending from an outer edge thereof. The first part includes a pair of connection implements in or on side panels opposite one another. In a use state, a connection pin engages with the connection implements, a pneumatic cylinder connects to the connection pin and includes an extendable actuating rod, and an attachment is attachable to the actuating rod and allows a user to interact therewith to exercise. The connection pin, pneumatic cylinder, and attachment fits in the interior compartment in their storage state.
Portable device for movement and resistance training of the lower extremities
A device for movement and resistance training of the lower extremities is disclosed which helps prevent muscle de-conditioning and deep vein thrombosis from lack of movement resulting in venous stasis and potential development of blood clot formation. The device includes footpads with spring resistance and sensors that register the number of times the pads are depressed and the amount of force applied by a user to the footpads. Data from use of the device may be stored and provided as feedback to the user so the user can monitor progress in using the device.
Arm exercise assemblies
The disclosure herein includes an arm exercise assembly, which arm exercise assembly may include: a frame shaped and sized to receive a human forearm; a piston coupled to the frame; a bracket pivotably coupled to the frame; a wheel coupled to the piston and pivotably coupled to the bracket; two locks extending radially through the wheel toward inner portions of the wheel; and a handle pivotably coupled to the wheel, wherein the handle may be capable of being abutted against one or both of the two locks.
EXERCISE DEVICES
An exercise device includes spaced-apart exercise members engageable by appendages of an exerciser and moveable in opposed directions, a body support member for supporting an exerciser and a platform below the body support member. A synchronizing drive system connects the exercise members with the body support member for moving the body support member in opposite directions relative to the platform by movement of the exercise members in opposite directions, respectively.
PORTABLE EXERCISING DEVICE
The present invention is directed to a portable exercising device for arms. The portable exercising device comprising an elongated first frame, the first frame having a proximal end and a distal end; an elongated second frame, the second frame having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of the first frame pivotally coupled to the proximal end of the second frame; a first armband coupled to the first frame, the first armband configured to be worn in an arm; a second armband coupled to the second frame, the second armband configured to be worn in a forearm; a resistance member extending from the first frame to the second frame, the resisting member configured to resist the pivotal motion of the first frame towards the second frame. The resistance produced by the resistance member is transferred to the muscles, thus exercising the arm.
PISTON CONFIGURATIONS FOR PNEUMATIC POGO STICK
A pneumatic pogo stick is provided that utilizes compressed air like a spring to have a potentially higher power to weight ratio than a comparable coil spring pogo stick. The pneumatic pogo stick includes an elongate cylindrical housing which forms a cylinder. Improvements are also provided to the piston and air shaft that allow for reduced hammering and a lower maximum compression ratio in order to provide relatively smooth jumping and landing while propelling a user to greater heights. Examples of such improvements include a hollow air shaft and modifications to the shape and structure of the piston.
Exercise Machine Support System
An exercise machine support system for providing increased versatility including inclination or declination of an exercise surface, a reduction in the overall length and width of the exercise machine, and an enhanced user interface which reduces the risk of injury. The exercise machine support system generally includes a cantilevered exercise machine which is adapted to have a variable angle of incline or decline with respect to a horizontal ground surface. The exercise machine will generally include a base and a support which extends between the base and the exercise machine. The upper end of the support is connected to the exercise machine by a first pivot such that the exercise machine pivots about the support. An adjustment device may be utilized to pivot the exercise machine and thus adjust its angle of incline. Various types of adjustment devices are disclosed, including an actuator, ratchet-and-pawl, gears, and cam.
