An exercise machine may include a stationary frame, an inclinable portion movably connected to the stationary frame, and an incline mechanism connected to the stationary frame. The incline mechanism may include a coiling mechanism, a coiling rod of the coiling mechanism, a flexible coiling link movable with a rotation of the coiling rod, and where the flexible coiling link is connected to the inclinable portion.

Fitness machine and resistance device thereof

Provided is a resistance device of a fitness machine comprising a wind drag unit and a magnetic resistance unit. The wind drag unit includes an air volume adjusting disc. The magnetic resistance unit includes a guide rail disc, a metal ring sheet, at least one magnetic seat, and at least one guide post. The guide rail disc has a guide disc rail through which the guide post penetrates. The magnetic seat is used to generate magnetic resistance with the metal ring sheet, and the magnetic seat has a magnetic seat rail. The guide post is connected to the air volume adjusting disc, penetrates through the guide disc rail, and extends into the magnetic seat rail. The guide post moves in the magnetic seat rail with rotation of the air volume adjusting disc to drive the magnetic seat to pivotally rotate relative to the guide rail disc.

Exercise machines having a resistance fan that directs air for cooling a user

An exercise machine has a supporting frame; a resistance fan on the supporting frame, the resistance fan being configured to provide an amount of resistance to a user of the exercise machine; a housing enclosing the resistance fan, the housing having a plurality of openings through which air from the resistance fan is directed towards the user of the exercise machine; and a shroud on the housing. The shroud is movable with respect to the plurality of openings so as to redirect the air from the resistance fan without changing the amount of resistance provided to the user of the exercise machine.

A swing motion trainer used to simulate one or more sport swing movements includes a rod portion comprising a shaft with a grip. The swing motion trainer includes a resistance portion comprising an interchangeable mechanism at a distal end of the rod portion, the resistance portion includes an interchangeable mechanism at the distal end of the rod portion, wherein the interchangeable mechanism is configured to attach a removable resistance element to the distal end of the rod portion. The removable resistance element that is attachable to the distal end of the rod portion via the interchangeable mechanism. The removable resistance element provides a resistance to a swinging motion of the swing motion trainer.

GOLF SWING RESISTANCE DEVICE
20230285830 · 2023-09-14 ·

A golf swing resistance device that secures to a golf club to provide increased aerodynamic drag during a golf swing. The device includes disk-shaped plates with a through-bore in the center of the plates. The plates are secured to the golf club by passing the grip end of the golf club through the through-bore of the plates. The plates align along the golf shaft of the golf club and abut against the golf club clubhead during a golf swing. Multiple plates can be stacked along the length of the golf shaft. The plates have a larger span (or diameter) than the golf shaft thereby increasing the cross-sectional area of the golf club and thus increasing the aerodynamic drag on the golf club during a golf swing. The plates can vary in size and quantity to provide variable amounts of aerodynamic drag.

EXERCISE MACHINE

Described herein are embodiments of stationary exercise machines having reciprocating foot and/or hand members, such as foot pedals that move in a closed loop path. Some embodiments can include reciprocating foot pedals that cause a user's feet to move along a closed loop path that is substantially inclined, such that the foot motion simulates a climbing motion more than a flat walking or running motion. Some embodiments can further include reciprocating handles that are configured to move in coordination with the foot via a linkage to a crank wheel also coupled to the foot pedals. Variable resistance can be provided via a rotating air-resistance based mechanism, via a magnetism based mechanism, and/or via other mechanisms, one or more of which can be rapidly adjustable while the user is using the machine.

RESPIRATORY RESISTANCE DEVICE FOR USE IN A METHOD OF ACQUIRING IN-VIVO AN IMAGE OF INTERIOR PARTS OF A HUMAN BODY
20230355198 · 2023-11-09 ·

A method of and device for acquiring in-vivo images or quantitative/qualitative data (perfusion, blood flow, vascularization, contrast enhancement, selective blood supply management) of interior parts of the human body using an imaging system includes the steps of positioning the body relatively to the imaging system, applying a respiratory resistance device to the respiratory system of the body, and performing an image acquisition step during or concomitantly an inhalation/inspiration/suction or exhalation/Valsalva/expiration phase, during which the body provides suction or exhalation against a resistance as provided by the respiratory resistance device.

Parallel resistance rowing machine
11813497 · 2023-11-14 ·

A parallel resistance rowing machine is an apparatus that provides adjustable, independent resistance to a user to perform rowing exercises that isolate and emphasize various laterally opposed muscle groups. The parallel resistance rowing machine uses a first resistance assembly and a second resistance assembly mounted to an axle within a chassis. The first resistance assembly and the second resistance assembly are selectably interconnected by a clutch mechanism, enabling a first handle and a second handle to be moved independently or in concert under resistance from the first resistance assembly and the second resistance assembly, respectively. An elongate frame supports a slidable seat assembly, further supporting a full-body rowing action as the user exerts themselves against the first resistance assembly and the second resistance assembly.

DAP SYSTEM ADJUSTMENTS VIA FLEXIBLE RESTRAINTS AND RELATED DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A height-adjustable DAP exercise system is provided having a support platform, an inflatable enclosure secured to the support platform at a base opening through the enclosure and extending vertically therefrom when inflated, and a top frame attached to the enclosure at an enclosure top opening. The DAP system further includes adjustable lift restraints each having a restraint length between first and second ends and configured for adjustment between a first restraint length and at least one second restraint length, in which each first end of each lift restraint is attached to a middle portion of the enclosure and each second end is attached to the top frame or the base. The enclosure height is adjustable between a first and second enclosure height responsive to adjustments for lift restraint lengths. The system also includes a low height safety harness for the top frame and related methods.
