Registration information indicating that a wholesale BSS has activated eSIM profiles for corresponding telecommunication devices in corresponding vehicles is received, the registration information including a corresponding key associated with each vehicle. Following a consumer BSS receiving an activation request for activating a new line of telecommunication service for a telecommunication device of a vehicle, in which the activation request includes the key, and the consumer BSS assigning a virtual identifier from a virtual identifier pool to the telecommunication device in response to the activation request, a registration request is received from the consumer BSS that includes a key associated with the vehicle. The key is matched to an eSIM-associated identifier of an eSIM profile. The eSIM-associated identifier is then sent to the wholesale BSS to request that the wholesale BSS enable a new access point name (APN) of the new line of telecommunication service for the telecommunication device.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS OF USING REMOTE SUBSCRIBER IDENTIFICATION MODULES AT A DEVICE

The present invention discloses methods and systems for communicating at a cellular router between a first wireless communication module and a first subscriber identity module (SIM). The cellular router receives a first request from a first wireless communication module and encapsulates the first request in a first modified request. The cellular router then sends the first modified request to a first SIM card in a first communication apparatus and waits for a first modified reply. While waiting for the first modified reply the cellular router sends at least one halt message to the first wireless communication module after a first time threshold. After receiving the first modified reply, the cellular router decapsulates the first modified reply to retrieve a first reply and sends the first reply to the first wireless communication module where the first modified reply is a reply to the first.

Device-enabled eSIM profile acquisition
10897690 · 2021-01-19 · ·

Device-enabled embedded subscriber identity module (eSIM) profile acquisition is described. Server(s) associated with a service provider can receive, from an application of a device operated by a user, identification data including at least an identifier corresponding to an eSIM associated with the device. The server(s) can store an association between a profile and the identifier in a database. The server(s) can receive, from the device, a request for the profile, which can include the identifier. The server(s) can access the database to identify, based at least in part on the identifier, the association between the profile and the identifier and provision, to the device, the profile to cause the profile to be associated with the eSIM associated with the device.

Wireless service card having machine readable codes and device and process for use therewith

A process for authorizing wireless service includes providing a generally rectangular flat form factor card having a first surface and opposing second surface. The process further includes providing a machine-readable activation code arranged on the first surface, wherein the machine-readable activation code is configured to authorize the wireless service when provided to a system associated with a wireless service provider, receiving the machine-readable activation code in a server, the machine-readable activation code being captured by a wireless device, and provisioning the wireless service to the wireless device from a wireless network when the machine-readable activation code is provided to the system associated with the wireless network.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REVENUE MAXIMIZATION IN A COMMUNICATION NETWORK

Method and system for revenue maximization in a communication network. This invention relates to management of communication networks and more particularly to monitoring information of a subscriber of a communication network. Embodiments herein enable the network operator to collect and profile usage information of a subscriber on a User Equipment (UE) with the intention of using the information for revenue maximization applications and preventing fraud for a network operator, wherein revenue maximization applications include but are not limited to fraud management, revenue assurance, churn management, customer experience management, credit risk management and partner settlement.

FRAUDELENT SUBSCRIPTION DETECTION

Arrangements are provided for identifying a second fraudulent subscription replacing a first fraudulent subscription. A method is performed by a fraudulent subscription detection system. The method includes obtaining notification of the first fraudulent subscription having been identified in a SIM box. The method comprises obtaining historical network data of the first fraudulent subscription. The method com includes prises generating a model based on the historical network data. The method includes identifying the second fraudulent subscription replacing the first fraudulent subscription in the SIM box upon providing live network data as input to the model. The method includes providing an identification of the second fraudulent subscription to at least one of a subscription manager entity and a user interface of a Manual Analysis component.

USING WIRELESS RATE MODELS BASED ON UTILIZED FREQUENCY RESOURCES
20200389768 · 2020-12-10 ·

Usage rates for user equipments (UEs) in a peer to peer wireless network are disclosed. For instance, a network device communicates via a first wireless connection with the network device, wherein the first wireless connection employs a first frequency band, and wherein the first frequency band corresponds to a first rate model. Then, a request is received to change the first frequency band to a second frequency band. A second wireless connection is established with the network device, wherein the second wireless connection employs the second frequency band, and wherein the second frequency band corresponds to a second rate model different than the first rate model.
