TERMINAL TYPE IDENTIFICATION IN INTERACTION PROCESSING
A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a user device from an access device, an available applications request message. The available applications request message includes an access device type identifier. The method also includes determining whether an association exists between the access device type identifier and one or more application identifiers of a plurality of application identifiers stored on the user device. The plurality of application identifiers respectively correspond to different applications on the user device. The method also includes transmitting, by the user device, to the access device, based in part on whether the association exists, an available applications response. The available applications response includes the one or more application identifiers of the plurality of application identifiers associated with the access device type identifier.
Methods and systems of using remote subscriber identification modules at a device
The present invention discloses methods and systems for communicating at a cellular router between a first wireless communication module and a first subscriber identity module (SIM). The cellular router receives a first request from a first wireless communication module and encapsulates the first request in a first modified request. The cellular router then sends the first modified request to a first SIM card in a first communication apparatus and waits for a first modified reply. While waiting for the first modified reply the cellular router sends at least one halt message to the first wireless communication module after a first time threshold. After receiving the first modified reply, the cellular router decapsulates the first modified reply to retrieve a first reply and sends the first reply to the first wireless communication module where the first modified reply is a reply to the first.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING MOBILE EDGE COMPUTING SERVICES IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to a 5.sup.th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a data transmission rate higher than that of a 4th generation (4G) system, such as long-term evolution (LTE). The disclosure relates to authentication and authorization for edge computing applications, and an operation method of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. The method may include transmitting, to a server, a first message including at least one of information related to the UE or a type of user agent, performing an authentication procedure for an edge computing service according to an authentication method determined based on the first message, receiving a second message indicating authority granted to the edge computing service, based on an authentication code generated by the server according to the performed authentication procedure, and using the edge computing service in a range corresponding to the granted authority.

The available applications response includes the one or more application identifiers of the plurality of application identifiers associated with the access device type identifier.
Wireless Service Card Having Machine Readable Codes and Device and Process for Use Therewith
A process for authorizing wireless service includes providing a generally rectangular flat form factor card having a first surface and opposing second surface. The process further includes providing a machine-readable activation code arranged on the first surface, wherein the machine-readable activation code is configured to authorize the wireless service when provided to a system associated with a wireless service provider, receiving the machine-readable activation code in a server, the machine-readable activation code being captured by a wireless device, and provisioning the wireless service to the wireless device from a wireless network when the machine-readable activation code is provided to the system associated with the wireless network.
CERTIFICATION AND ACTIVATION OF USED PHONES ON A WIRELESS CARRIER NETWORK
Telecommunication services systems and methods are disclosed. The telecommunication services systems and methods preferably enable a buyer to certify and activate a used wireless telecommunications device. The systems and methods may also be employed to provide the buyer with specialized pricing options and other customized services.

Use of ESIM profiles
Use of embedded subscriber identity modules, eSIM, profiles: compiling a list of geographical locations for a predetermined period in future, and communicating wirelessly the list and the predetermined period to a service provider before the predetermined period; detecting a home wireless network, and downloading wirelessly a set of eSIM profiles into one or more eSIM chips of a mobile from the service provider before the predetermined period; using the set of the eSIM profiles for wireless service in one or more geographical locations of the list during the predetermined period; and detecting the home wireless network after the predetermined period, and removing the set of the eSIM profiles from the one or more eSIM chips.
