10111086 · 2018-10-23 · ·

The embodiments herein relate to methods and apparatuses for mobile activation of a subscription. According to an embodiment, a method includes: receiving an identification information from a mobile device; allocating based on the received identification information a SIM profile from a pool of SIM profiles; transmitting the allocated SIM profile to the mobile device; the SIM profile including at least an IMSI and associated network keys; establishing a connection with the mobile device, wherein the connection is restricted until the IMSI has been associated to a subscription; and activating the mobile subscription for the given IMSI based on associated data or based on the IMSI relating to said subscription. The embodiments are relate to a network node, a mobile device and a method thereof.

Transaction processing platform for facilitating electronic distribution of plural prepaid services

A transaction processing platform capable of facilitating the distribution to consumers of various types of prepaid products is disclosed. The transaction processing platform is configured to interface with one or more providers of such prepaid products in order to facilitate the procurement or activation of the products. The platform includes a conduit interface through which service request messages are received and respectively utilized to generate transaction requests for corresponding types of prepaid services. A supply interface arrangement, operatively coupled to the conduit interface, is configured to route a first of the transaction requests through a first supply interface associated with a first type of prepaid service. The supply interface arrangement also routes a second transaction request through a second supply interface associated with a second type of prepaid service. The platform is also configured to provide supplier response information received through the supply interfaces to the conduit interface.

SERVICE DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD, TERMINAL AND CHARGING SYSTEM, COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM

Disclosed are a service data transmission method, a terminal and a charging system, and a computer storage medium. The method comprises: when detecting that a terminal roams from a local place to a different place, requesting and acquiring V-SIM card information about the different place from a V-SIM card server; disconnecting network connections which are established using a SIM card, and establishing network connections using the acquired V-SIM card information; and transmitting service data using the established network connections.

Restoring functionality of a mobile device

A method and system of restoring a functionality of a mobile user device. A lock screen is displayed on the display of the user device. An international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) of a subscriber identity module (SIM) card presently installed in the user device is determined. The IMSI is sent to a Remote Recovery Server (RRS). A message is received from the RRS indicating whether the IMSI is authorized for the user device and whether an account of the user device is replenished at least in part. Upon determining that the IMSI is authorized for the user device and the account of the user device is replenished at least in part, at least one function that was previously restricted is restored.

Method and system for establishing multiple connections at a wireless communication device

The present invention discloses methods and systems for communicating at a cellular router between a first wireless communication module and a first subscriber identity module (SIM). The cellular router receives a first request from a first wireless communication module and encapsulates the first request in a first modified request. The cellular router then sends the first modified request to a first SIM card in a first communication apparatus and waits for a first modified reply. While waiting for the first modified reply the cellular router sends at least one halt message to the first wireless communication module after a first time threshold. After receiving the first modified reply, the cellular router decapsulates the first modified reply to retrieve a first reply and sends the first reply to the first wireless communication module where the first modified reply is a reply to the first modified request.

Network exception systems and methods for packet-switched telephony

Asynchronous and/or synchronous telephony protocol systems and methods may include an asynchronous signaling node (ASN) and/or a call duration time quota from a charging onset to place and complete a call based on a first device call request as received from a first user mobile device on a packet switched network. The asynchronous systems include instructions to automatically modify the telephony address with a prefix and destination address when the first device has insufficient or independent balance or upon a network exception; route the modified call signal to the ASN; and deliver and automatically disconnect the call when the call is completed. The synchronous systems are balance-independent and include instructions to automatically set the call duration time quota upon such exception, and deliver and automatically disconnect the call from the second user telephony device when the call is completed or when the call duration time quota is exceeded.

Apparatuses, methods and systems for implementing a trusted subscription management platform

Apparatuses, methods, and computer readable storage media are provided for implementing a trusted subscription management platform. An example server device is configured to transmit, to a trusted UI client of a mobile station, information regarding a set of virtual SIM cards associated with the mobile station, and receive, from the trusted UI client of the mobile station, a request to provision a particular virtual SIM card. The server device is further configured to initiate, by an SM-SR module and via a trusted baseband client of the mobile device, a secure proxy channel between the server device and a profile manager that hosts the particular virtual SIM card, and transmit, via the secure proxy channel and to the profile manager, an instruction regarding the particular virtual SIM card. Corresponding methods and computer readable storage media are provided.

APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CONFIGURING A TRUSTED JAVA CARD VIRTUAL MACHINE USING BIOMETRIC INFORMATION

A multiple subscriber identity module cards (multi-SIM) resource management method, device and multi-SIM terminal. The method comprises: acquiring a subscriber identity module card list in a terminal, the subscriber identity module card list comprising all subscriber identity module cards in the terminal; and if a remaining quantity of a service resource on a subscriber identity module card currently used in the terminal is less than or equal to a preset remaining quantity threshold, then automatically switching to a subscriber identity module card having a sufficient service resource and in the subscriber identity module card list.

Methods and systems for transferring SIM card information from a first device to a first server for enabling the use of a SIM card in multiple devices

The present invention discloses methods and systems for transferring SIM card information from a first device to a server. A first SIM card is housed in the first device or in a first modem connected to the first device. When the first device boots up, it identifies the first SIM card and retrieves SIM card information from the first SIM card. The first device then sends authentication information to the first server and requests historical SIM card activity information. Historical SIM card activity information received from the first server is stored in a storage medium, and is used for determining whether to use the first SIM card. The first server performs steps of receiving a first request message from the first device, and determining the SIM card identity specified in the first request message if the first request message is authentic. The first server retrieves and sends historical SIM card activity information of the first SIM card to the first device.
