WEARABLE DEVICE USING FLEXIBLE NON-POWERED VARIABLE IMPEDANCE MECHANISM
The present invention relates to a wearable device using a flexible non-powered variable impedance mechanism, wherein the device can induce a user to have a correct posture during a squat exercise or lifting work, and can assist the user's muscular strength. According to the present invention, an angle between a (1-1)th lower string and a (1-2)th lower string and an angle between a (2-1)th lower string and a (2-2)th lower string change according to a knee angle depending on the user's posture, whereby an impedance mechanism that the user feels through the body changes.
Connecting straps for sports activities
Connecting straps, for use for example in sports activities, include (a) a sleeve of webbing having a first end and a second end and having a loop at each end, each loop having a base and a free end, (b) disposed within the sleeve of webbing, a band of elastic material extending in a continuous loop, and (c) an attachment strap, adjacent each loop, configured to secure a portion of the band to the webbing at the base of each loop. In some cases, the band has a solid, polygonal cross-sectional shape.
GOLF SWING TRAINING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a golf swing training device comprising right and left elbow supports with attachment means and a back/posture support having waist side attachment means. An elastic band removably connects the right elbow support to the left elbow support. The waist band of the back/posture support contains left and right side attachment means for removably connecting the waist to the left and/or right elbow supports.
SPORT TRAINING RESISTANCE BANDS
The sport training device includes a lower pair of resistance bands attached at a first end to a belt positioned around the waist of a user and at a second end to an ankle portion at an ankle of the user. An upper pair of resistance bands is attached at a first end to a shoulder portion at each shoulder of the user, at a second end to a leg portion that attaches proximate to each knee of the user and at a middle portion to the belt. A primary pair of resistance bands is attached at a first end at the shoulder portion, at a second end at the ankle portion and at a middle portion to the belt. Each pair of resistance bands strengthens a different portion of the body useful for the ideal golf swing.
CONTROLLED SQUAT STRENGTH-TRAINING MACHINE
A controlled squat strength-training machine includes a frame with a base mounting forward, intermediate, and rear uprights. The intermediate upright is pivotally connected to the base and is configured for limited rotation fore-and-aft. Knee pads are provided for restraining of users' knees. Users can adjust the resistance of the machine and thereby very the exercises performed thereon.
Tilting Exercise Machine
The present invention relates to the field of fitness training devices and exercise machines. More specifically, a substantially horizontal exercise machine comprising an exercise platform slidable along one or more rails aligned with the longitudinal axis of the machine structure, the slidable platform spring-biased towards one end of the machine, is tiltable to allow for one end of the machine to be raised or lowered relative to the opposed end of the machine.
DIGITALLY ENHANCED EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A digitally enhanced exercise system includes a proximal section comprising a first structural member and a platform; a distal section comprising a second structural member and an interface, wherein the interface is attached to the second structural member by a mount; a spine that is spans between the first structural member and the second structural member; a carriage configured to move in a single axis along the spine; a tension system, wherein the tension system is capable of resisting the carriage from moving; a sensor array arranged so as to detect changes in weight on the carriage; and a processor. Other aspects are also described and claimed.
Resistance-based exercise device
A resistance-based exercise device comprised a bar with a first engagement plate fixed to its first distal end and a second engagement plate fixed to its second distal end. The first and the second engagement plates have one or more openings for detachably engaging one or more resistance bands of varying resistance level by a coupler.
Lower leg and ankle rehabilitation and exerciser
An article of manufacture for providing a lower leg and Achilles tendon exercise device according to the present invention, the exercise device includes a top frame structure having a first plurality of connection hooks about its perimeter, a bottom frame structure oriented in parallel to the top frame structure having a second plurality of hooks about its perimeter, a plurality of vertical support members coupled between the top frame structure and the bottom frame structure, a shoe support member having a plurality of connection hooks positioned about an outer edge, and a plurality of stretchable cords configured to couple the shoe support member to the top frame structure and the bottom frame structure, the stretchable cords coupled to the top frame structure position the shoe support member above the bottom support structure.
Exercise device
A method for treating pronator syndrome involves selecting an arm and positioning it with the forearm perpendicular to the upper arm. The hand of the arm is engaged with a grip located inside a bisected working circle, which has an outer perimeter consisting of four quadrants. The fourth quadrant is elliptical and asymmetrical to the others. The grip is designed for hand engagement and includes two d-shaped slots. A resistance band is attached to the body, with one end in the groove, creating tension when used. To exercise the arm, the body is rotated in one direction to increase tension on the band. Releasing tension is achieved by rotating the body in the opposite direction.
