Embodiments described herein relate generally to apparatuses and methods relating to mobility assist devices including, for example, walking canes. In some embodiments, a mobility assist device can include a wrist stabilizer and one or more exercising elements for enabling a user to perform torsion, rotation, grip, and/or other exercises.

Foot training device and foot training method
11298589 · 2022-04-12 · ·

A training device is provided for training a foot using the device. The training device includes a fulcrum placed at a center and four projections that project in different directions from the fulcrum. Each of the four projections have elastic members that are bendable. The training device is configured to improve foot muscle strength by bending and stretching the elastic members. At least two of the four projections have different degrees of elasticity in flexure as determined when a force is applied to a distal end of each of the at least two projections to bend the elastic members. The four projections project in cross directions from the fulcrum at the center. Each pair of projections that oppose each other across the fulcrum are arranged on a straight line.

EXERCISE MACHINE WITH TORSION BAR RESISTANCE UNIT
20220111241 · 2022-04-14 ·

A torsion bar resistance unit and a variable resistance unit system having at least one selectably engageable torsion bar is disclosed. A resistance training machine having a plurality of selectably engageable torsion bars coupled to a lever is disclosed wherein a rotational resistance load is based on which of the plurality of torsion bars are rotatably locked and the force applied to the lever. Also disclosed is a user interface that allows a user to selectively engage any of the plurality of torsion bars, output the total resistance load and the translation distance on an output screen.

Adjustable Resistance Exercise Machine

An adjustable resistance exercise machine for providing variable resistance forces on a pull cable extending from the machine. The adjustable resistance exercise machine generally includes a plurality of power springs that may be selectively engaged using an adjustment mechanism. By engaging springs with different forces, the resistance may be adjusted incrementally as preferred for performing different exercises. The adjustable resistance exercise machine may be connected to various structures, either below or above an exerciser, to allow the exerciser to choose whether to pull the pull cable up or down during exercise.

MULTIPLE POSITION ADJUSTABLE EXERCISE DEVICE
20210275851 · 2021-09-09 ·

A multiple position adjustable exercise device includes a first plate, a second plate and an elastic member. The second plate is pivotally connected with the first plate. The elastic member is disposed between the first plate and the second plate, and when the second plate rotates relative to the first plate, the elastic member is twisted for providing an elastic recovering force. An initial position of the second plate relative to the first plate is adjustable for adjusting the elastic recovering force.

FOOT TRAINING DEVICE AND FOOT TRAINING METHOD

A training device and a method for training a foot using the using the device; the device including a fulcrum placed at a center, four projections, and projecting in different directions from the fulcrum, each of the four projections having, at least in a portion thereof, elastic members that are bendable. The training device is configured to improve foot muscle strength by bending and stretching the elastic members. At least two of the four projections have different degrees of elasticity in flexure as determined when a force is applied to a distal end of each of the at least two projections to bend the elastic members. The four projections project in cross directions from the fulcrum at the center, and, for each pair of projections that oppose each other across the fulcrum, the projections are arranged on a straight line. None of the four projections has an annular structure.
