SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TELEPHONE CALL REGULATION BASED ON SPAM FACTOR AND USER INPUT
Example embodiments of systems and methods for telephone call regulation are provided. An example method includes receiving, by a predictive model, a telephone number from a user application comprising instructions for execution on a user device; determining, by the predictive model, a spam factor for the received telephone number; determining, by the predictive model, a classification of the received telephone number based on the spam factor; transmitting, by the predictive model, the classification of the received telephone number to the user application; receiving, by the predictive model, a feedback from the user application, the feedback indicative of a corrective classification of the received telephone number; and modifying, by the predictive model, the spam factor for the received telephone number based on the corrective classification.
Cumulative average spectral entropy analysis for tone and speech classification
A contact center system for performing call progress analysis including tone and speech classification according to an embodiment includes at least one processor and at least one memory comprising a plurality of instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the at least one processor, causes the contact center system to determine a cumulative average of an entropy of an audio signal received by the contact center system, determine a cumulative average power spectral amplitude and a cumulative average spectral entropy of the audio signal, calculate a difference measure of the audio signal as a difference between the cumulative average of the entropy and the cumulative average spectral entropy, distinguish tones from speech of the audio signal based on the difference measure, and process one or more tones of the audio signal in response to identification of the one or more tones in the audio signal.
Device and method for supporting plurality of SIMs in wireless communication system
An electronic device is disclosed. In addition, various embodiments recognized through the specification are possible. The electronic device includes a communication module, a processor operatively connected with the communication module, and a memory operatively connected with the processor. The memory includes instructions, when executed by the processor, causing the processor to receive information associated with a SIM of another electronic device from the other electronic device via the communication module, receive a user input requesting a voice call for a first SIM of the other electronic device, and transmit a message requesting a voice call for a second SIM of the other electronic device to an IMS server via the communication module based on the information associated with the SIM.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS CALL AUGMENTATION SYSTEM
A method of augmenting a telecommunications call, the method comprising: detecting a telecommunications call event at a user telecommunications device; selecting an item of media content, the item of media content being associated with the calling party; augmenting the call with the item of media content; detecting a user interaction with the device in response to the item of media content; and transmitting information relating to the user interaction to the calling party.
Method and system for automatically blocking robocalls
A method and system for automatically blocking robocalls. A set of incoming call data is captured from the incoming call. The set of incoming call data, including captured audio data, is checked with plural different tests to determine if the robocall includes a voice call component. The plural different tests provide additional levels of detection for robocalls. The method and system automatically identify and process robocalls and help prevent call spoofing and neighbor spoofing by robocalls.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS CALL AUGMENTATION SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a method of augmenting a telecommunications call, the method comprising detecting a telecommunications call event at a user telecommunications device 10; selecting an item of media content 101, the item of media content 101 being associated with a uniform resource identifier or URI; augmenting the call with the item of media content 101; detecting a user interaction with the item of media content 101; and on termination of the call, performing an action in dependence on the resource identified by the URI. The invention extends to a corresponding system and apparatus.
Shared call state for related calls
Handling a related call using a shared call state. The computing system establishes a first call between a first entity and a second entity, assigns a user call identifier to the first call. Next, the second entity instructs that a second call between the first entity and a third entity is to be established. The computing system then establishes the second call between the first entity and the third entity, assigns the same user identifier to the second call, such that the first call and the second call are included in a shared call operation. A first global state of the shared call operation is identified based on a status of at least one of the first call and the second call. When the status of at least one of the first call and the second call changes, the global state of the shared call operation changes from the first global state to a second global state.
Adaptable communication techniques for electronic devices
Improved approaches for users of electronic devices to communicate with one another are disclosed. The electronic devices have audio and/or textual output capabilities. The improved approaches can enable users to communicate in different ways depending on device configuration, user preferences, prior history, etc. In one embodiment, the communication between users is achieved by short audio or textual messages.
Method, device, system and network for routing communications
The present invention relates to a method for routing communications in a telecommunications network comprising a first telephony user device and a server system. The method includes at the first telephony user device: receiving instructions to initiate communications with a contact associated with an address; initiating communications via a channel within the telecommunications network to a local address for the server system; and transmitting information associated with the contact address to the server system via the telecommunications network. A communications action is performed in relation to the contact at the server system. Other methods, devices, systems and networks for routing communications are disclosed.
Hold time reducer
The system allows a consumer to shortcut through a call queue to reach a human agent faster. For phone or voice-based calls that require a consumer wait on hold, the system can give that consumer an accurate estimate of the wait time and allow them to skip all or some of it. It does this by using automated processes to proactively dial and wait in those call queues, measuring their time in queue. A new consumer making an incoming call can then join the call queue occupied by of those automated processes, shortcutting the consumer past all or some of the wait time.
