Systems, methods, and software described herein provide enhancements for a voice communication service to forward communications to a secondary service. In one implementation, a method of operating a group communication service that facilitates voice communications for a group of end user devices includes exchanging voice communications between the group of end user devices, wherein the group of end user devices comprises a first end user device and at least one secondary end user device. The method further provides identifying, in a voice communication from the first end user device, a use of a key phrase and, in response to identifying the key phrase, forwarding at least a portion of the voice communication to a second service.

A group database can maintain information about member user equipments (UEs) that are part of a group associated with a shared group number. One or more of the member UEs can be associated with distinct phone numbers that are different from the shared group number. One or more communication servers can route incoming calls and text messages sent to the shared group number to one or more member UEs based on the information in the group database, such as routing incoming calls only to member UEs indicated as being active members of the group in the group database.

A method for communicating location information to a device includes receiving, at a computer system that implements a social networking service, location information that represents a geographic location of a device associated with a first user, associating, by the computer system, the received location information with a profile associated with the first user; and sending, from the computer system to a device associated with a second user, a message that is generated based at least in part on the location information.

An information processing apparatus and method provide logic for provisionally transferring shared connection rights to one or communications devices. In one implementation, a information processing apparatus includes a receiving unit configured to receive, from a first communications device, a request to join a group of second communications devices associated with at least one shared connection right A control unit of the information processing apparatus may be configured to provisionally transfer the shared connection right to the first communications device, in response to the received request.

Method and device for responding to an audio inquiry. The electronic computing device monitors audio communications transmitted between communication devices that are members of a talk group on a talk group channel. The electronic computing device detects an audio inquiry from a first communication device and generates an audio content response to be provided in response to the audio inquiry. The electronic computing device determines based on one or both of the audio inquiry and the audio content response, and as a function of the context information, that the audio content response is to be individually provided to the first communication device. The electronic computing device then establishes a private call with the first communication device and provides the audio content response to the first communication device via the private call.

A method and a call manager node (200) for handling calls directed to a group of subscribers. When receiving (2:3) a request from a caller (202) for access to a first group of subscribers (204) having at least one common characteristic, the call manager node assigns (2:4) first caller-specific temporary group number (A1) for the caller, wherein the first group number can be used exclusively by the caller for calling the subscribers in the first group. An object is to provide an incoming-call number notification apparatus capable of notifying a user of the number of incoming calls at the present moment by using simpler equipment. An incoming-call number notification apparatus according to the present invention includes a control unit (14, 15) configured to, when there is an incoming call to a plurality of telephones (20) accommodated in an exchange (10), determine a display color according to the number of incoming calls at the present moment, and instruct the plurality of telephones to blink or light up an incoming-call lamp of its own telephone in the determined display color (20).

A method is described for call treatment based on user association with one or more user groups. The method includes receiving a phone call from a call source that is directed to a call recipient, identifying a user group associated with the call recipient, and determining a number of received indications assigned to the user group. The received indications are assigned to the user group by users associated with the user group, and the received indications reflect a desire by the users for a special treatment of future calls from the call source. The method also includes distinguishing treatment of the phone call from the call source based on the number of received indications.

A method and system for optimizing voice recognition and information searching. The method includes determining context data associated with a particular talkgroup (140) that includes a plurality of communications devices (120) and creating a list of talkgroup-specific keywords associated with the context data, the list of talkgroup-specific keywords including a first characteristic for each talkgroup-specific keyword. The method also includes receiving, from a first communications device (120A) of the plurality of communications devices (120), audio data associated with a user of the first communications device (120A) and processing the audio data to generate an initial output term. The method further includes determining a second characteristic of the initial output term and determining whether the first characteristic of a talkgroup-specific keyword from the list of talkgroup-specific keywords matches the second characteristic of the initial output term. The method also includes outputting the keyword when the first characteristic matches the second characteristic.

An input unit receives a request for transmission of a speech signal to a predetermined group. When the request for transmission is received in the input unit, a determination unit determines a process related to reproduction of the speech signal in a terminal device expected to receive a speech, based on a distance between terminal devices expected to receive the speech signal, excluding the terminal device outputting the request from a plurality of terminal devices belonging to the predetermined group.
