Bicycle trainer permitting steering and tilting motion
A bicycle trainer, including a base, permitting fore and aft movement and a frame, supported by the base. Also, a seat and a handlebar assembly and a pedaling assembly is supported by the frame. The handlebar assembly is rotatably engaged to the frame, and is supported by a tongue, that is hinged to the base so as to permit horizontal rotation, and the handlebar assembly is attached to the tongue at a position removed from the hinge. Turning the handlebars causes the frame to move laterally.
DYNAMIC TRAINING DEVICE
Disclosed herein are training devices having at least two elastic members connected to a respective end of an inelastic member. The training devices first and second handles coupled to a respective one of the two elastic members. The training devices may be used to add various strength training modalities to a cardiovascular workout or fitness regimen. The training device may be provided in the form of a kit including elastic and inelastic members having differing elasticities, lengths, and widths and including removable handles, potentially of differing types.
BODYWEIGHT EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus includes: a support track including a first channel on a first side, a second channel on a second side, and a row of fixation holes, the first channel, the second channel, and the row of fixation holes being parallel to each other; a carriage including a carriage frame, a pin rod, a first side roller, and a second side roller, wherein: the pin rod is coupled to the carriage frame and positioned to be removably inserted into at least one of the fixation holes to fix a position of the carriage with respect to the support track, the first side roller is coupled to the carriage frame and positioned within the first channel, and the second side roller is coupled to the carriage frame and positioned within the second channel; and at least one support bar affixed to the carriage.
Force Profile Control For The Application Of Horizontal Resistive Force
Systems and methods for controlling application of horizontal resistive force to a user walking on a treadmill to provide substantially constant force even if the user changes his or her relative position on the treadmill. The systems and methods can improve the user experience when force is applied while also improving user safety. The system has a cable, a motor, and a system controller. The cable can be coupled to a harness to apply a horizontal resistive force to a treadmill user, and the motor can be coupled to the cable and configured to apply a motor force to the cable. The cable can have an adjustable operative length. The system controller can have a processor communicatively coupled to the motor and configured to adjust the force applied by the motor in response to changes in cable length and a measurement of the actual force applied by the cable.
Elastic resistant training apparatus and methods
An exercise apparatus and method for applying one or more lateral resistive loads to drive, swing and other phases to participants while performing complex motions at low or high speeds to condition one's body to better and more quickly perform physical movements at high speeds. Elastic members may be used to generate resistance emanating from a ground-based or vertically-positioned apparatus. The elastic members may connect to one or more body parts simultaneously. The apparatus may be mechanically designed to fully retract the elastic members into the apparatus to maintain resistance while participants are in close proximity to the apparatus. The apparatus provides a plurality of self-contained elastic members and provides participants the ability to alter the vertical and horizontal positions of each elastic member's emanation point from the apparatus. This provides ability to control applied resistance vectors between the attachment point on the participant and the apparatus.
Portable door mounted exercise apparatus
A portable door mounted exercise apparatus includes a removable strap mount assembly for attachment to a door, and a cable/pulley assembly that includes handles for pulling the cable to stretch a resistance band that is affixed to the strap mount assembly. The lower portion of the resistance band is secured to the bottom of the strap at an anchor point via a carabiner or clip, so that when a user pulls on the handles, either downwardly or outwardly, for instance, the resistance band is stretched, thereby providing resistance for purposes of exercise. When not in use, the portable door mounted exercise apparatus may be removed from the door, disassembled, and the straps can be folded or rolled up for purposes of storage and/or transport.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus and method for lower back, abdominal, and leg conditioning. The apparatus is configurable between a pivoting condition and a fixed position. In the pivoting condition, a backboard, pivotally mounted to a frame, is configured for a user to lay on the backboard and alternately raise and lower their hips, while supporting their feet on a foot plate. In a fixed condition, the backboard is positioned proximal to the foot plate, and a user may perform one or more abdominal exercises.
Resistance Band Exercise Scale Platform
A multi functional exercise apparatus used for resistance training. An electric digital scale platform will be applied for the user to exercise with resistance bands and determine the resistance in units of pounds or kilograms.
Exercise device and method of use
An exercise device comprising; a platform, a first limb attachment means, a first extendable cord attached to the first limb attachment means, the first extendable cord being at least partially located within the platform, and a tensioning means within the platform, wherein the tensioning means can be adjusted to alter the resistance of the first extendable cord to extension.
Apparatus having brace assembly for muscle
An apparatus includes a brace assembly and a force-application assembly. The brace assembly includes a muscle-origin portion configured to connect proximate to a muscle origin of a muscle. The brace assembly also includes a muscle-insertion portion configured to connect proximate to a muscle insertion of the muscle. The force-application assembly is configured to connect to the muscle-origin portion and the muscle-insertion portion. The force-application assembly is also configured to extend between the muscle-origin portion and the muscle-insertion portion once coupled to do just so.
