STRETCHING DEVICE AND METHODS
This disclosure provides devices and methods for stretching that include an anchor configured to attached to a force providing element; a support, the anchor operably attached to the support; a plurality of finger traps operably attached to the support; and a wrist cuff operably attached to the support.
TRAINING AND REHABILITATION DEVICE
A device for training and rehabilitation of a limb is provided. The device provides a board with a plurality of movement tracks to allow for controlled movement of the limb in various directions. Blockers and other controlling structures may be arranged on the device to limit range of motion of the movement of the limb.
ANKLE EXERCISER DEVICE
An ankle exerciser device is described. The device can include a base component, a jointed foot plate assembly attached to the base component, the jointed foot plate assembly comprising a foot plate and a joint, the joint configured to allow the foot plate to tilt, pivot, and/or rotate relative to the base component, and a maze board attached to the foot plate of the jointed foot plate assembly, the maze board comprising a maze. A method of exercising the ankle can include positioning a ball in the maze of the maze board, and moving the ball through the maze by applying forces to the foot plate with a foot.
Exercise apparatus
The present disclosure provides an exercise apparatus with a mobility mat and an orthopedic device. The mobility mat can have a plurality of segments with a plurality of assistive features such as hand holds, foot holds, and a contoured cushion. The mobility mat can be configured to couple with the orthopedic device. The orthopedic device can have an inclined face and a plurality of remaining faces including various additional assistive features.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MEASURING FORCE AND REPETITIVE MOTION FOR THERAPEUTIC AND FITNESS GOALS
The invention is directed to systems, devices, and methods for measuring force and repetitions during exercise or rehabilitation activities. Devices in accordance with embodiments may include: a casing; a processor within the casing; a display visibly on the casing; a first attachment portion on one end of the casing; a second attachment portion on an opposite end of the casing; and a force sensor connected to the first and the second attachment portion, the force sensor in communication with the processor. Methods may include: attaching a pneumatic exercise device to the wireless force measurement device; conducting exercises causing a piston in the pneumatic exercise device to move compared to from the wireless force measurement device; counting, by the device, the number of times the piston moves towards or away from the device; determining, by the device the amount of force applied through the pneumatic exercise device during the exercise.
Therapeutic Exercise Device For Upper Extremities
A therapeutic exercise device for improving arm mobility and strength is provided. The device can be used by any person but is particularly helpful for infants who suffer from the disease of arthrogryposis. The device includes a base having a first upright leg member and a second upright leg member. The leg members are height-adjustable. The leg members are joined at their upper ends by an upper crossbar member. Preferably, a pair of elastic straps are coupled to the crossbar. The elastic straps can have handles so the infant can reach up and grasp them. The infant can pull downwardly on handles and move the straps. These exercises help infants to improve their strength, range of motion, and sensorimotor development.
Multi-modal rehabilitation device and methods
Apparatus and methods relate to a multi-modal rehabilitation device having a reconfigurably lockable, adjustable knee stabilizer and a removable foot plate provided with removable resistance elements. In an illustrative example, the resistance elements may be repositionable. The foot plate may be provided with rollers. The rollers may be configured for use in gliding exercises. The rollers may be configured for self-massage therapy. The rollers may be removable. The rollers may be disposed in a removable leg band which may be disposed around a leg of a user. In an illustrative example, the device further includes a graduated self-deflating thermal-compression device. Various embodiments may provide multiple therapy modalities in an efficient, economical, and user-friendly device.
Hidden gym
A recliner chair designed to contain elastic bands and other components to turn the recliner into an exercise machine. The recliner has arm rests with cavities therein that can house elastic bands and/or handles for said bands. Additionally, the backrest could have cavities to house additional elastic bands. The leg rest is modified to hold heavier loads than traditional recliners and includes an attachment point for a straight handle or elastic bands for the user to pull from using the upper body. Additionally, the leg rest is convertible to a leg exercise machine that can secure the feet therein for same. The moving portions are adjustable for resistance using various mechanisms.
EXERCISE BAR WITH DYNAMICALLY ROTATING HAND GRIPS
An exercise bar assembly includes a pair of rotating grip assemblies, each including a generally planar frame and a hand grip mounted within the frame for rotation within in the plane of the frame. The rotating grip assemblies are attachable to opposite ends of a center bar assembly along the longitudinal axis of the bar assembly. A plate bar assembly is attachable to each of the rotating grip assemblies opposite the center rod, with the plate bar assembly aligned with the longitudinal axis to form a weight lifting bar. A user-selectable elastic band is engageable between the pair of rotating grip assemblies along the longitudinal axis so that the elastic band resists rotation of each hand grip in each of the rotating grip assemblies. The rotating grip assemblies of the exercise bar assembly allow for the full range of motion of the bicep, and the elastic band creates a resistance exercise through the bicep's full range of motion.
Pilates Exercise Device and Method
A supporting device for users of a Pilates exercise machine to maintain them at an inclined angle upon the platform or carriage of the exercise machine during use. The device features a body having a bottom adapted for positioning on the moving or stationary carriage of the Pilates machine and an inclining top surface to support the body of the user inclined.
