METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RESPONDING TO AN AUDIO INQUIRY
Method and device for responding to an audio inquiry. The electronic computing device monitors audio communications transmitted between communication devices that are members of a talk group on a talk group channel. The electronic computing device detects an audio inquiry from a first communication device and generates an audio content response to be provided in response to the audio inquiry. The electronic computing device determines based on one or both of the audio inquiry and the audio content response, and as a function of the context information, that the audio content response is to be individually provided to the first communication device. The electronic computing device then establishes a private call with the first communication device and provides the audio content response to the first communication device via the private call.
TRANSMISSION DEVICE, RECEPTION DEVICE, AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING DATA
A generator generates a first combination including identification information associating area information indicating an area where data should be received and a timing when the area information should be transmitted, and the area information and that generates a second combination including the identification information in the first combination and data. A transmitter transmits one of the first combination and the second combination generated by the generator. The generator generates the second combination at a further timing subsequent to the timing associated with the identification information in the first combination. The transmitter transmits the first combination at the timing associated with the identification information in the first combination and transmits the second combination at the further timing.
Location-based social software for mobile devices
A method for communicating location information to a device includes receiving, at a computer system that implements a social networking service, location information that represents a geographic location of a device associated with a first user; associating, by the computer system, the received location information with a profile associated with the first user; and sending, from the computer system to a device associated with a second user, a message that is generated based at least in part on the location information.
SYNCHRONIZED GROUP MESSAGING
Devices and methods for synchronized group messaging in a wireless communication system are described. Multicast transmissions, such as those in a dense network, can cause significant medium usage because same multicast packet is likely sent by multiple APs at different time. Medium usage in such implementations may be redundant. As such, the transmission medium is not used optimally. Devices and methods which coordinate and align group messages (e.g., multicast packets) amongst APs are described. Each AP may be configured to transmit identical packets at the same time. Therefore, medium usage can be reduced, while the range can be extended due to accumulated energy from APs.
METHOD OF EXPOSING A RECEIVED MESSAGE, USER TERMINAL PERFORMING THE SAME AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM FOR PERFORMING THE SAME
A method capable of enhancing a user's acceptance of a received message, a message application program for performing the method, and a user terminal performing the method. The method of exposing received messages is a method performed by a message application program running on a user terminal. The method comprises receiving a message, and displaying the message if the current state of the user terminal satisfies a condition included in an exposure rule. After the message application program receives the message, the message application program displays the message only when the current state of the terminal satisfies the condition included in the exposure rule, thereby increasing the acceptance of the message.
AUDIO DEVICE
An audio device is provided which distributes via the Internet a telephone talk between a distributer and a viewer, with a simple structure. An audio interface device can be connected to a PC, and distributes via the Internet a sound signal which is input from a microphone along with a BGM by outputting the sound signal to the PC. When a call is made with a caller, the audio interface device branches the sound signal which is input from the microphone into a first sound signal and a second sound signal, and supplies the second sound signal to the caller. Also, the first sound signal, the sound signal from the caller, and the BGM are synthesized and output to the PC, and the telephone talk is distributed via the Internet.

Broadcasting system
A broadcasting system provides a telephone number as identity information during a registration process of a user equipment intended to be used as a user broadcasting equipment. The telephone number is one of many telephone numbers associated with the broadcasting system. During the registration process in which the user equipment is identified as a user broadcasting equipment, various information associated with the user equipment are obtained and stored. The identity information, i.e., the telephone number, maps to the stored information such that when the user equipment is used to dial the provided telephone number, the broadcasting system automatically recognizes the user equipment is making a dial to broadcast request. Upon checking the stored information associated with the user equipment, the broadcasting system allows the user equipment to broadcast to one or more other user equipment registered as listeners to a scheduled broadcast.
INTERACTIVE ADVISORY SYSTEM FOR PRIORITIZING CONTENT
A method for passing content to at least one communicator device. The user of a communicator device registers with at least one service provider for delivering a plurality of different types of content to be passed to the at least one communicator device. A user defined priority is assigned to the at least one type of content. The user defined priority is stored on a computer readable medium. The different types of content are passed to the at least one communicator device based on the user defined priority.

A user defined priority is assigned to the at least one type of content. The user defined priority is stored on a computer readable medium. The different types of content are passed to the at least one communicator device based on the user defined priority.
