Method and apparatus for content presentation in association with a communication connection
A method and apparatus are provided for presenting content to a caller and/or a called party in association with a telephone call or other communication connection. Content may be presented pre-ring (before the called party's telephone rings), in-call, and/or post-call, and may be related to a party participating in the call or may be related to a third party. Presentation of specified content may include assisted sharing, wherein both parties view the same content and one guides or assists the other. A received call may be split into signal and voice channels, with the signal channel used to notify a call controller of the call and the voice channel being directed to an agent selected by the call controller to handle the call.
MEETING-ADAPTED LANGUAGE MODEL FOR SPEECH RECOGNITION
A system includes acquisition of meeting data associated with a meeting, determination of a plurality of meeting participants based on the acquired meeting data, acquisition of e-mail data associated with each of the plurality of meeting participants, generation of a meeting language model based on the acquired e-mail data and the meeting data, and transcription of audio associated with the meeting based on the meeting language model.
Promise management apparatus and method
Method for managing a promises management apparatus comprises automatically transcribing, using an automatic speech recognition engine, a call between a caller and an agent, based on real-time call stream of the call, wherein the caller calls the agent for resolution of a concern using the promises management apparatus. The method comprises automatically extracting, using a natural language processing engine, in real-time a promise made by the agent to the caller based on the transcript of the call, generating promises data by assigning an agent, a type, a timeline, an action, and a mode of execution to the promise, and storing the promises data in a datastore.
TELEPHONE EXCHANGE, HOLD TONE NOTIFICATION METHOD, AND HOLD TONE NOTIFICATION PROGRAM
A recognition analysis processing unit (20) analyzes call voice information about a call between terminals, which are in a communicating state, specifies a language used in the call voice information, and stores the language as language information. When a hold request detection unit (11) detects a hold request signal for requesting that the call to be held transmitted from one of the call originating terminal and the call receiving terminal, which are in the communicating state, to be held, it extracts, from the language information stored in the recognition analysis processing unit (20), the language used in the call between the terminals to which the hold request signal has been transmitted from the one of the terminals, selects, from a hold tone database (30) storing the hold tones including a plurality of on-hold messages in various languages, the hold tone including the on-hold message in the language matching the extracted language, and transmits the selected hold tone to another one of the terminals, which is another party on the phone. Thus, a telephone exchange (1000) for making the other party on the phone listen to the hold tone including the on-hold message in the language matching the language used by the other party on the phone is provided.
System and method for multilingual authentication access to communication system in controlled environment
A system and method for multilingual authentication access to a communication system in a controlled environment is disclosed. The system includes a communication subsystem that connects a communication between a first communication device and a second communication device, wherein one of the first communication device or the second communication device is used by the inmate of the correctional system. The system also includes a profile subsystem configured to determine profile information of a party associated with the first communication device. The system further includes an authentication subsystem that provides one or more challenge questions to the first communication device based on the profile information, receives at least one response to the one or more challenge questions from the first communication device, and authorizes connection of the communication between the first communication device and the second communication device based on the at least one response.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING CALLER INFORMATION
Methods and systems of providing caller information are provided. Exemplary systems and methods provide location information for audio files including the caller information. The location information can be used to retrieve the audio information, which can be played on a call recipient's device, and/or a translation of the audio information, which can be displayed on the call recipient's device.
Method and apparatus for voice modification during a call
A method for voice modification during a telephone call comprising receiving a source audio signal associated with at least one participant, wherein the source audio signal comprises a voice of the at least one participant, detecting a source dialect of the at least one participant, selecting a target dialect based on at least a characteristic of a target participant and creating a modulated audio signal based on the source audio signal, the source dialect, and the target dialect and transmitting the modulated audio signal to the target participant.
Detection and prevention of inmate to inmate message relay
Secure system and method of detecting and preventing inmate to inmate message relays. A system and method which monitors inmate communications for similar phrases that occur as part of two or more separate inmate messages. These similar phrases may be overlapping in real time as in a conference call or can occur at separate times in separate messages. The communications that appear similar are assigned a score and the score is compared to a threshold. If the score is above a certain threshold, the communication is flagged and remedial actions are taken. If the flagged communication contains illegal matter then the communication can be disconnected or restricted in the future.
Auto-translation for multi user audio and video
The disclosed subject matter provides a system, computer readable storage medium, and a method providing an audio and textual transcript of a communication. A conferencing services may receive audio or audio visual signals from a plurality of different devices that receive voice communications from participants in a communication, such as a chat or teleconference. The audio signals representing voice (speech) communications input into respective different devices by the participants. A translation services server may receive over a separate communication channel the audio signals for translation into a second language. As managed by the translation services server, the audio signals may be converted into textual data. The textual data may be translated into text of different languages based the language preferences of the end user devices in the teleconference. The translated text may be further translated into audio signals.
