Water weight training device
The invention presented is an aquatic weight training device that enables weight training in an aquatic environment while allowing eccentric weight training. The inventive device includes at least one hollow bar with hollow weights attached at each end. The end weights each include a plurality of holes that allow a user to fill the end weights under water then controllably empty the end weights while exercising. The end weights may be fixedly or releasably attached to the bar.
Aqua Exercise Equipment
An aqua resistance dumbbell comprises a tubular wall that provides a bore for receiving a user's hand from each end of the bell. A rod is located within the bore and extending laterally across the bore to be gripped by a user with one or both hands from one or both ends of the bore. The dumbbell has a plurality of longitudinal fins extend along the tubular wall on an outer side of the tubular wall, and at least one lateral fin that extends laterally at least part way around the tubular wall. An aqua resistance fin assembly comprises two fin components and at least one fastening member for fitting the fin components to a user's limb in a side-by-side configuration around the limb. Each fin component comprises a base adapted to fit against a user's limb and adapted to be secured to the user's limb by the fastening member, and at least two longitudinal fins and at least one lateral fin on an outer side of the base.
Barbell Drinking Fluid Container
A drinking fluid container is structured as exercise equipment. The drinking fluid container includes a first enclosure, a second enclosure, and a handle that fixes to the first and second enclosures.
METHODS FOR IMPROVING ONE OR MORE ASPECTS OF HEALTHFULNESS IN A SUBJECT BY APPLYING AND CONTINUOUSLY WEARING CORE WEIGHTS
The present disclosure relates to methods for improving healthfulness, e.g., improving cardiovascular health, stimulating weight loss, and/or increasing muscle size/tone in animal subjects, including human subjects. In one aspect, the method comprises applying a core weight to each of the front and/or rear limbs of an animal subject at substantially the same distance from the torso so as to be substantially symmetrically placed, and such that each core weight lies within the distal ⅔ of the limbs; and wearing the core weights continuously for 6-20 hours per day for at least 2 days per week for at least 2 consecutive weeks. In certain embodiments, each of said core weights has substantially the same mass which is 0.2-1.0% of the total body weight of the animal subject, and each of said core weights spans less than ¼ of the total length of the limb to which it is applied.
VIRTUAL JUMP ROPE
Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems, apparatuses, and methods for providing cardiovascular exercise by simulating an exercise experience, such as a jump rope experience. In one implementation, a pair of exercise simulators is provided. Each of the exercise simulators includes a spin assembly rotationally mounted to a handle along an axis line. The spin assembly is configured to rotate about the axis line. At least one weight is housed in the spin assembly, and a light source is configured to rotate about the axis line with the spin assembly. The light source is configured to emit light to provide a visual representation of the motion of the spin assembly.
WORKOUT DEVICES AND METHODS
A workout device that has an arcuate body having first and second ends, and one or more attachment points extending through the body, each attachment point for releasably attaching a load and for releasably attaching an anchor to suspend the workout device.
EXERCISE TRAINING SYSTEM
A training system, kit, and method including a weighted wearable equipment, e.g. gloves, having a sensor (e.g. accelerometers, gyroscopes, photoelectric sensors, position sensors, tilt sensors, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, blood pressure sensors, heart rate monitors, and SpO2 sensors) and including a weight enhancement (e.g. weight bodies in closed pockets); a non-weighted wearable equipment of the same type as the weighted wearable equipment, the non-weighted wearable equipment having a sensor and. not including a weight enhancement; and a training application in functional communication with each of the weighted wearable equipment and the non-weighted wearable equipment and having a data processor that includes instructions for: analyzing data received from the sensor of each of the weighted wearable equipment and the non-weighted wearable equipment and generating predictive information derived from exercise training data from the sensors.
EXERCISE DEVICE FOR USE IN MICROGRAVITY ENVIRONMENTS
A device including a first member for supporting a user; and a second member 14, attached to the first member, including a counterbalance portion. The first member and the second member are each moveable, and operable to slide with respect to each other in opposite directions, between a first position and a second position. The device can be operable such that between the first and second positions, the combined center of mass of the device 10 and its user remains substantially fixed. This serves to reduce the extent of forces and vibrations generated by use of the device on the object to which the device is located.
Dumbbell with adjustable weight
A dumbbell has a grip rod and multiple counterweight blocks. The grip rod has two connection segments each having multiple baffles to define multiple connection recesses between the baffles. The counterweight blocks are engaged respectively with the connection recesses. Each counterweight block has a body and a buckle. The body has an engaging channel extending from a center to an edge of the body and being expandable. The engaging channel has an opening and two protrusions to form an engaging space for being mounted around one of the connection segments. The buckle has a first end and a second end. The first end is connected pivotally to the body and at a position on one of two sides of the engaging channel. The second end is connected detachably with the body at a position on the other one of the two sides of the engaging channel.
Combined Exercise and Massage Device
An exercise and massage device utilizes a substantially spherical body having a central cavity that extends to opposite sides of the spherical body so that the cavity forms openings on opposite sides of the spherical body. A transverse handle is positioned within the cavity that extends across the cavity. At least one grasping portion is located within the cavity and is spaced between the transverse handle and at least one of the openings of the central cavity to provide a fingerhold during use. A resilient outer layer surrounds the spherical body and provides an exterior surface of the spherical body. The resilient outer layer is provided with projections to facilitate massage when used in the massage mode when the device is used in a massage mode. The device is weighted to provide a total weight of from 2 lbs or more. In another embodiments of an exercise and massage device at least one ring member is encased within the spherical body to provide at least one of weight and structural support to the device.
