Tethered resistance swim training apparatus
An aquatic exercise apparatus for applying a resistive force to an exercising swimmer, the apparatus includes a bracket mounted to a vertically oriented surface located above a pool of water, a container, an operational assembly comprising at least one upper pulley attached to the bracket and at least one lower pulley attached to the container, a cord passing through the at least one upper pulley and the at least one lower pulley, and a fastener configured to attach to an exercising swimmer, where the fastener is attached to a free end of the cord, and where pulling the free end of the cord moves the container upward against gravity.
Method of exercise using two-handled container partially filled with liquid
A method of exercise includes partially filling (not more than 70% full) a symmetrical hollow body of an exercise device with water, grasping a pair of opposed handles attached to the hollow body, positioning the device at a height and orientation for a first set of motions, and rapidly oscillating the device at a frequency (≥2 HZ) to transform the water from a static state into a dynamic state in which the center of mass oscillates and hydrodynamic forces arise. Optionally, an additive such as viscosity enhancer or beads for audible effect may be introduced in the water.
VARIABLE WEIGHT EQUIPMENT WITH LIQUID RESISTANCE
A fitness device for strength training can include: a clamshell housing including a front portion and a back portion. The front portion and the back portion can mate together to define an internal volume. The clamshell housing includes first handle portions extending circumferentially around the front portion and second handle portions extending circumferentially around the back portion. The first and second handle portions mate together to define a plurality of handles. The fitness device includes a sealed container defining a fluid chamber. The sealed container can be fixedly received within the internal volume defined by the front portion and the back portion of the clamshell housing. The fluid chamber of the sealed container can contain: a gaseous component, a first fluid component, and a second fluid component.
MULTI-PURPOSE CONTAINER
A container and a hand weight, that container may include a housing that comprises a handle and end weights that are connected to opposite sides of a handle; and at least one dispensing unit configured to selectively dispense content from the housing.
Resistance training glove
A resistance training glove device having a glove casing for attachment to an individual's hand. The glove casing includes a first member and a second member. The first and second members are attachably connected to one another to collectively form the glove casing. The first member has a body element which includes an enclosed tank for receiving and storing fluid. The second member includes a handle bar element, a cuff element and a reception cavity. The reception cavity receives the individual's hand when the glove casing is attached to the individual's hand. The stored fluid in the glove casing provides a weighted resistance to the individual during movement of the attached glove casing.
EXERCISING DEVICE FOR STIMULATING DEEP MUSCLES AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE EXERCISING DEVICE
An exercising device for fitness training includes a main body forming a container, and a first end and a second end. The main body defines a length between the first end and the second end. The container has an outer surface, an inner surface, and a substantially hollow cylindrical shape with a cross-section which varies between the first end and the second end such that the outer surface and the inner surface define a waveform. A first cover is detachably arranged on the first end and a second cover is detachably arranged on the second end. The container can be filled with a liquid which causes the exercising device to vibrate when it flows through the main body at varying speeds. In addition, a method for operating the exercising device is provided.
BOOTSTRAP FOR HIKING BOTTLE WEIGHT LIFTING EXERCISES
Bootstrap converts any hiking bottle into a safe and long-lasting weightlifting device. It consists of two main components: 1″-1.5″ plushed strap with low elasticity and high durability, 0.4″ or thicker silicon bumper for bottle bottom.
Several embodiments have additional components used as connection items. VELCRO® brand VELSTRETCH® tape is a perfect material for the heavy bottle strap. It is used in industrial applications to withstand multiple expansions/contractions and to minimize shear stress on hands. Thick silicon bottom bumper absorbs stress coming from two bottles collision that is common for such weight lifting exercise. Overall design protects hikers head, hands, and body from injuries. Several embodiments varying aesthetically and in cost are presented. Basic math provided in the background section explains current solutions' failures. The same math lays the path to the bootstrap.
Weighted article with fill spout
An article (101) is provided which comprises a body (103) having an interior volume (113), and a collapsible inlet (105) which is in open communication with said interior volume and which is movable from a first position in which it extends from said body, to a second position in which it extends into said internal volume.
Objects and methods for building small muscle fibers and nerves using fluid disposed in the objects
The present disclosure provides for various objects (weights, playing apparatuses, balls, clothing, etc.) that have liquid disposed in them to assist in building and strengthening small muscle fibers and/or nerves. The various objects can include weights, playing apparatuses such as objects that can be swung in sports, balls, and clothing or other objects that can be worn by humans or other animals. The objects include fluid paths and re¬directions walls disposed within the fluid paths to direct fluid flow to particular areas within the objects. The designated areas to where fluid flow is directed aid in development of small muscle fibers and/or nerves due to the fluid sloshing around at those particular locations. Methods of making and using the various objects disclosed are also provided.
Exercise board
An exercise board includes a main body and an elastic body configured on an upper surface of the main body. The upper surface of the main body is provided with at least one cavity, the cavity at least includes a first cavity part and a second cavity part, the first cavity part is located above the second cavity part, and a diameter of the first cavity part is less than that of the second cavity part. A lower surface of the elastic body is provided with at least one protrusion connected to the cavity, the protrusion at least includes a first protrusion part and a second protrusion part, the first protrusion part is located above the second protrusion part, and shapes of the first protrusion part and the second protrusion part match with shapes of the first cavity part and second cavity part.
