SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AUDIO MESSAGES IN A TELEPHONIC CALL
A system and method for playing audio messages between signal tones in a telephonic call. The signal tones indicate the status or progress of the ongoing call and is played at timed intervals. The system can play audio messages between the signal tones that can be heard by the caller. The audio messages can be advertisements.
Securing confidential information during a telecommunication session
Systems and methods disclosed herein securely provide confidential information associated with a user during an active voice call conducted using the user's mobile device. The confidential information may be provided by generating the information in spoken form and inserting the spoken information into an audio stream of the voice call. For example, a customer may be on a phone call with a customer agent. The customer agent may ask the customer for a credit card number in order to process a financial transaction. The customer may select the credit card number via an application executing on the customer's mobile phone. The application may cause the credit card number to be spoken out loud during the voice call. A voice sample of the spoken credit card number in inserted into the audio stream of the voice call and is therefore, audible to the customer and the customer agent without being overheard by a third party.
Methods and systems for management of media content associated with message context on mobile computing devices
A system generally includes a lock-screen capable application executing on a recipient computing device configured to facilitate user interface access to a communication function of the recipient computing device while the recipient computing device remains in a locked state. The lock-screen capable application is configured to intercept a communication received by the recipient computing device that is associated with at least one of a communication application or a communication service. The system includes a content association application executing on the recipient computing device to facilitate associating a media content item with the intercepted communication based on a relevance of the media content item with the intercepted communication determined from automatically processing the intercepted communication to identify an association based on metadata descriptive of media content items stored in a library of the media content items.
Personalized audio/video invitations for phone calls
A system and method for managing phone calls by enabling the call initiator to create a personalized audio or video invitation that the call recipient may review prior to accepting the call, which is immediately connected upon acceptance. Thus, prior to completion of the call, the call recipient may be comforted that the incoming call is one that should be taken or, conversely, one that may be safely avoided. The personalized audio or video invitation is created by the call initiator and is attached to the phone call data packet in place of the conventional Caller Id data packet. The call signaling may proceed in a conventional manner (e.g., using conventional client-server signaling) except that instead of providing a standard call with Caller Id as the sole identifying information, a data packet including the personalized audio or video invitation is provided to the call recipient to review prior to accepting the incoming call, as desired.
Method, apparatus and system for voice verification
The present invention provides a method, apparatus, and system for voice verification, wherein the method comprises: at a network side, obtaining a user voice communication number according to a voice verification request from a user side, and determining voice verification information corresponding to the voice verification request; at the network side, initiating a call to a corresponding user according to the user voice communication number, and in the case of call through, playing the determined voice verification information to the user; at the user side, performing an automatic listening and recording operation when monitoring that the user is called, and upon termination of the call, sending recording information obtained from the recording to the network side; at the network side, determining a verification result according to the voice verification information and the recording information.
Notifying caller whether voice call is public at the callee device
A caller initiates, via a caller device, a voice call with a callee, which is received at a callee computing device. The callee computing device audibly announces the voice call, and the callee can respond to the announcement with a voice input that indicates to accept the voice call and that the voice call will be public at the callee computing device. In response, the callee computing device answers the voice call and mutes voice communication from the caller to the callee. A pre-generated message is played back to the caller via the voice call, notifying the caller that the voice call will be public at the callee computing device. After playing back the pre-generated message, the callee computing device un-mutes voice communication from the caller to the callee. The voice call then proceeds with the caller and callee being able to talk to one another.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING CALLER INFORMATION
Methods and systems of providing caller information are provided. Exemplary systems and methods provide location information for audio files including the caller information. The location information can be used to retrieve the audio information, which can be played on a call recipient's device, and/or a translation of the audio information, which can be displayed on the call recipient's device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING METHODS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIA, AND SERVERS FOR INITIATING COMMUNICATION OVER INSTANT MESSAGE SYSTEM BASED ON VOICE CALL
An information processing method performed by a server includes receiving a request to initiate communication over an instant messaging system based on a connected voice call of a terminal, the request including a telephone number of the terminal, determining whether a particular user identifier of a user of the terminal is stored in a memory of the server based on the telephone number, the memory of the server storing one or more user identifiers in association with one or more telephone numbers, the one or more user identifiers being associated with the instant messaging system, and sending a message to the terminal based on the particular user identifier in response to determining the particular user identifier is stored in the memory.
Method for speech processing and speech processing device
During telephone calls in a public space, users may be reluctant to provide private or secret information, due to the risk of eavesdropping. A hands-free solution for entering secret information to electronic speech communication devices is based on speech processing. A method for speech processing a voice input data stream comprises steps of scanning the voice input data stream and detecting a spoken delimiter therein, determining a predefined audio sample corresponding to the detected spoken delimiter, inserting the determined predefined audio sample into the voice input data stream at the spoken delimiter, wherein a substituted voice data stream is obtained and wherein speech portions of the voice input data stream at least before the spoken delimiter remain in the substituted voice data stream, and providing the substituted voice data stream for output towards a recipient.
