METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRACKING AN OBJECT OF INTEREST IN A TALKGROUP
A method and system for tracking an object of interest in a talkgroup. The method includes receiving a first image stream including the object from a first portable communication device associated with the talkgroup. The method includes detecting the object in the first image stream, determining a first view angle associated with the object's position in relation to the first device, and determining a second view angle associated with the object's position in relation to a second portable communication device. When a difference between the first angle and the second angle is below a threshold, a first modified image stream is generated by highlighting the object in the first image stream. When the difference between the first angle and the second angle is above the threshold, a second modified image stream is generated by highlighting the object and indicating a relative direction to the object from the second device.
Joining executable component to online conference
A multi-media online conversation in which automatic actions associated with executable components, such as recording and broadcasting, are performed by adding a visualized representation of the action into the online conversation. The action appears as a visualization in a portion of the user interface that includes both individuals that may be joined into a conference as well as one or more executable components. The action associated within an executable component may thus be efficiently performed in a consistent manner with how individuals are added into an online conversation, thereby taking advantage of muscle memory of the participant.
Methods and Systems for Augmenting Caller ID Information
Disclosed are methods and systems for obtaining and transmitting augmented telephonic entity data to a device or data storage. An example method includes providing a telephonic switching and computing framework, providing access to a data storage, receiving a telephone call from a switched telephone network (STN), receiving caller ID information from the STN, then in response to a trigger, searching for and retrieving within the data storage an augmented data record, and further in response to the trigger event, transmitting the augmented data element to a device. An example system generally comprises a data storage, a telephonic apparatus configured to receive a call with caller ID information from a switched telephone network (STN), a network-connected computing apparatus configured to, in response to a trigger, search for and retrieve an augmented data element associated with the caller ID information, and transmit the augmented data element to a device over a network.
Avatar spatial modes
Avatars may be displayed in a multiuser communication session using various spatial modes. One technique for presenting avatars includes presenting avatars such that an attention direction of the avatar is retargeted to match the intent of the remote user corresponding to the avatar. Another technique for presenting avatars includes a pinned mode in which a spatial relationship between one or more avatars remains displayed in a consistent spatial relationship to a local user regardless of movements of the local user. Another technique for presenting avatars includes providing user-selectable presentation modes between a room scale mode and a stationary mode for presenting a representation of a multiuser communication session.
Providing city services using mobile devices and a sensor network
Apparatus and methods related providing city services, such as parking, are described. A mobile device can be configured to receive information from local sensor nodes, such as parking sensor nodes, in the vicinity of the mobile device. In a parking application, the mobile device located in a moving vehicle can be configured to locate available parking based upon the information received from the parking sensor nodes. In other embodiments, the mobile device can be utilized in a retail establishment in conjunction with a remote server to display eye-level image data taken at various locations throughout the retail establishment. The eye-level image data can include products displayed throughout the retail establishment and can be augmented with one or more indicators that indicate product placement locations associated with the products.
AUGMENTED REALITY OBJECT PROVIDING METHOD AND SERVER USING IMAGE AUTHENTICATION
The present invention relates to an augmented reality object providing method and server using image authentication and, more specifically, to an augmented reality object providing method and server using image authentication, wherein an augmented reality object is registered using a first real-world image captured by a first mobile terminal and an input message, and according to the registration of the augmented reality object, a notification message is transmitted to a second mobile terminal corresponding to recipient information, so as to allow a second user of the second mobile terminal to experience augmented reality by outputting the registered augmented reality object in a second real-world image captured by the second mobile terminal.
System and method for augmented reality gaming using a mobile device
Disclosed is a method and system for preventing replay attacks for mobile promotions associated with promotion devices. Upon the occurrence of a promotion winning event such as a designated outcome of a game played on the promotion device the user, via a software application accessible to their mobile device, forwards images of the event to a server over a network. The server determines entitlement to the promotion and analyzes data associated with the images and mobile device location and time to confirm that the event is new promotion winning event. Upon such confirmation an entitlement to the promotion is awarded to the user. The foregoing prevents unscrupulous users from logging multiple claims for the same promotion winning event.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TELECONFERENCING WITH MULTIPLE PARTICIPANTS
Apparatus and method for teleconferencing with multiple participants using a computer device through which one locally present participant is connected with multiple remote participants, the computer device including one processor device and two output devices. One output device is configured as an optical display device and one output device, as an audio device. The output devices realize a conference environment for the participants. On the display device, a display area is depicted on which a conference environment is depicted and on which the participants in the teleconference are graphically represented by representatives. Through the computer device, a conference environment of an environment type is selectable from a multitude of environment types and by a command an environment type of the conference environment of the teleconference is activated to enable a teleconference with different conference environments or a teleconference with different meeting periods such as different work periods and/or relaxation periods.
Communication stage and display systems
Enterprise communication display systems enable life-like images for videoconferencing and entertainment productions. Life-like images appear in a 3D environment where imaged people are visible through the use of specially configured see-through displays. Imaged people can also be viewed amongst a reflected foreground. A dual mode large high-resolution display is inventively configured for watching and working. Methods for enterprise wide deployments for corporate, healthcare, education, and government communications, including hotel properties and a property management system are shown. The invention further discloses an online production system for events. Further, a black void illusion is described and is applicable to numerous displays including event and live theater stages and movie theaters. Numerous inventive features are described enabling and advancing the black void illusion.
Method and system for remotely annotating an object in real-time
The present disclosure relates to method and system for annotating an object in real-time which comprises object database, remote device and real-time annotating unit. Real-time annotating unit receives video stream comprising one or more objects and identifies at least one object in video stream to be annotated by comparing at least one frame of video stream with predefined frames comprising one or more objects in object database. Further, real-time annotating unit determines orientation data of at least one object and obtains unique context identifier (UCID) associated with each of at least one object. The real-time annotating unit further provides UCID associated with at least one object to remote device and receives annotated data, from remote device, generated based on UCID and remote expert inputs. Further, real-time annotating unit converts annotation data to 3D space coordinates and renders converted annotated data on at least one object based on orientation data.
