REAL TIME TRANSCRIPTION AND FEED OF VOICE MESSAGES BASED ON USER PRESENCE AND PREFERENCE
Delivering a transcribed voice message includes detecting receipt of a voice message for delivery to a user, the voice message related to an incoming call for the user; determining a current presence of the user on at least one of a plurality of messaging channels in real time during receipt of the voice message; transcribing the voice message to text in real time; and delivering, in real time, the transcribed voice message to the at least one messaging channel on which the current presence of the user is determined. Delivering the transcribed voice message can also include receiving from the user initial identification of different user accounts, along with authorizations and permissions.
MESSAGE MANAGEMENT METHODS AND SYSTEMS
A communications device is disclosed. The communications device comprises a memory configured to store instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to receive data representing a message provided by a caller, determine at least an attribute of the message based on the received data, generate one or more options based on the attribute of the message, and present the one or more options to the caller to prompt the caller to take an additional action related to the message.
Systems, methods, devices and arrangements for unified messaging
A system or device can be configured with a first interface to provide content to a remote web-browser. This first interface can be provided by a computer server designed to implement a website. A second interface is configured and arranged to communicate content of an IP-based conference with a remote IP-enabled device. This second interface may also communicate video content, text content, document sharing content and/or desktop sharing content. A computer processing circuit is configured to establish an IP-based call between the remote web-browser and the remote audio-enabled device.
System and method for unified call logs with support for call continuity
Systems and methods provide a unified call log for user devices in a device group. A user device receives an invite message for an incoming call and stores first call log information including a caller identifier based on the invite message. The user device receives a status message indicating that another user device has answered the incoming call and stores second call log information including a timestamp for the status message. The user device receives a call information message for a new line between the user device and a device associated with the caller telephone number, determines that the new line is a handover call associated with the incoming call, and stores third call log information for the new line. The user device determines that the handover call on the new line is ended and generates a call log entry including information from the incoming call and the handover call.
Message forwarding and retrieval with a single messaging service
Embodiments described herein generally relate to a method and system of integrating a user's voice mail onto a single voice messaging service, e.g., a Unified Messaging (UM) service, such that a client may access this single source for voice mail retrieval, even where such voice mails are from a variety of sources, e.g., work, mobile phone, etc. A user, or the user's mobile operator, need only agree to accept the service, and the registration and configuration requirements for providing the service and forwarding calls to the service are automatically configured. The user's existing speed dial key or other setting for retrieving voice mail may also be automatically configured to the access number(s) for the service. Configurations may monitor the status of the service and update access and/or forwarding numbers. Voice mail forwarding and settings may also be automatically reverted back to the user's original service.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USER COMMUNICATION IN A NETWORK
Methods and systems for user communication in an online community and/or website are provided. User profile data may be accessed to from a memory. An analysis system compares the user profile data for the user with a time-dependent goal to determine a result. The time-dependent goal may be determined based on an analysis of a set of (successful) users. A user interface system generates a representation of the result for prompting the user to initiate a communication to a different user based on the time-dependent goal. The representation may comprise a metered representation indicating an amount of progress, by the user, toward the time-dependent goal.
Offline voicemail
A method for accessing offline voicemail messages within a mobile messaging application may be provided. First, a voice mail message may be received and the voicemail message may be transcribed to text. Next, the voicemail message and the text transcription may be stored. The recipient may then be presented with a list of voicemail messages and the voicemail message may be retrieved in response to the recipient. The recipient may read or listen to the voicemail message or both. The recipient may also annotate the voicemail message.
Voice controlled information delivery in paired devices
A voice-commanded common computing device may be selectively paired other computing devices in a shared network. The common computing device may detect co-presence of paired devices on the shared network, and may determine when audio and/or video content may be cast to devices on the shared network based on the detected co-presence. Audio content may include messages composed by a first user of a first device in the shared network, to be audibly output to a second user of a second device in the shared network. Casting of personal information may include positive authentication and verification prior to audible output of the personal information.
