The network call method includes: receiving a reservation request transmitted by a call reservation terminal, the reservation request including a first communication identifier of a first call terminal; generating a chat room identifier of a chat room in a social network application; generating a call reservation notification, the call reservation notification including an access link generated according to the chat room identifier; and transmitting the call reservation notification to a communication client of the first call terminal according to the first communication identifier of the first call terminal.

A system and method for creating and posting voice messages via a social networking service. A social networking service includes a website for receiving a voice message, post the voice message to the social networking service by storing the voice message as an audio file to a server, and transmit the post to a mobile device each associated with a follower of the social networking service. A client application running on each mobile device receives a notification of the post from the social networking service, and includes a control interface to enable an associated follower to access the voice message.

Systems for and methods of delivering telephone calls using the combination of a data channel and a voice channel are disclosed. A data channel connection with the telephone handset may provide pre-call information used to set up incoming and outgoing calls which are ultimately connected using a voice channel. Use of the pre-call information may permit the same handset to be associated with multiple secondary telephone numbers from which calls appear to have been made and to which calls appear to have been placed.

Disclosed are a video conference implementation method and server, and a computer readable storage medium. The method includes: a video conference server receiving from a terminal a virtual conference number of a conference to be convened; detecting whether the virtual conference number and a corresponding conference state are contained in a stored virtual conference draft; if the virtual conference number is contained and the state is “not convened”, sending to a multipoint control unit conference parameters corresponding to the virtual conference number, and receiving a conference state returned by the multipoint control unit.

The program and method provide for receiving, from a first device associated with a first user, a request for a call to be automatically initiated, at a scheduled time, between the first device and a second device corresponding to a second user; providing, to the second device and in response to the receiving, an invitation to participate in the call; receiving, from the second device and in response to the providing, an acceptance of the invitation; and providing for automatically initiating the call between the first device and the second device at the scheduled time.

Embodiments automatically establish a communication link with a conference platform using data received from a user device of a user. A conferencing device may interact with a user device to initiate a data transmission from the user device. An application on the user device may scan the contents of the user device for information associated one or more conference calls scheduled for a current time period. Upon identifying a matching conference call, the user device may transmit data associated with the conference call to the conferencing device. The application on the user device or the conferencing device may extract the call-in details (e.g. telephone number, conference code, conference PIN, URL or some other link to the conference) from the information associated with the conference call. The conferencing device may automatically initiate a call (e.g. establish the communication link) with the conference platform using the call-in details.
