Fine weight-adjustment device for free-weight fitness equipment
The disclosure provides a device for fine weight adjustment of a host apparatus. The host apparatus can be a free weight or similar having a bar with a bar diameter. The device can have an annular or disc-shaped body. The annular body can have an inner disc perimeter defining a central aperture having a diameter substantially similar to the bar diameter of the host apparatus. The annular body can also have a slot extending through the annular body from an outer perimeter to the central aperture defining a first disc end and a second disc end separated by a slot width. The annular body can be formed of a material having an elasticity sufficient to allow axial flexibility that returns the annular body to its original shape after being deformed to fit around the bar of the host apparatus.
Weightlifting plates
Weightlifting plates might be constructed of various materials. For example, a density-adjustable composition might be used that allows respective weight amounts plates to differ, while the plate volumes remain consistent. As such, in a set of weightlifting plates, each plate in the set includes a common volume (e.g., diameter and thickness) and a different respective weight amount. In addition, the weight plates can be combined with a barbell.
Devices and method for increasing running performance
A running device and method of using the device are disclosed. The device may include a moveable material within an inner chamber of the running device's housing. In operation, a running device may be held in each hand and the runner may thrust both hands downward prior to landing and quickly bring the devices to a vertical stop after landing. Bringing the devices to a vertical stop may cause the moveable material to collide with the housing and increase the force exerted by the runner on the ground. A delay component may delay the peak force exerted by the material against the housing so that the translation of that force to the ground coincides with the peak force that the runner would have exerted against the ground in the absence of the devices.
Pitching training aid
The present invention relates to a pitching training aid for shadow pitching training, the pitching training aid comprising: a receiving body which includes an inner receiving space and has openings at both sides thereof, and replicates a baseball in a state where a user encompasses and holds the receiving body with his/her hand or wears the receiving body on his/her fingers through the receiving space; a locking holder which is detachably inserted and fixed in the receiving space through the opening of the receiving body, and provides a locking region where locking through-holes are formed in the longitudinal direction, so as to allow at least one finger to be fitted and locked into the locking holder in the longitudinal direction, the locking holes extending in a curved shape having a predetermined curvature; and an elongated body which has a rod shape extending a predetermined length from one side of the receiving body, and provides load and vibration while being elastically deformed and restored by rotation of a user's arm.
Stick Burner Muscle Exercise Apparatus
An exercise apparatus in the form of a weighted cylindrical rod or stick with attachable additional weights that provides fitness enthusiasts with an easily accessible method in which to work out their oblique muscle groups, abdominal muscles, arms and back.
Exercise device
An exercise device for a person exercising on a support surface includes an elongated bar having two opposed ends. A weight has an aperture therethrough and slides along the bar. At least two rigid weight stops are fixed with the bar at selected locations along the bar, the weight free to slide along the bar therebetween. An end caps may be fixed to each end of the cylindrical bar to capture the weight and any weight stops on the cylindrical bar. In use, with the weight slidably captured on the bar, and at least two of the weight stops fixed with the bar on opposing sides of the weight, the person exercises by moving the bar to slide the weight between the at least two weight stops, or by rolling the weight along the support surface while holding on the cylindrical bar in a sit-up style position.
Elastic Weight Training Apparatus with Built-in Grip
An elastic weight training apparatus includes a hollow main body and a grip. The main body is made of rubber and has an inner surface that defines an inner space, an outer surface opposite to the inner surface, at least one opening extending through the inner and outer surfaces and communicating with the inner space, and two positioning portions disposed on the inner surface opposite to each other. The grip has a rod-shaped body disposed in the inner space and has two opposite end portions respectively connected to the positioning portions.
Weight exerciser with flexible perimeter grip band
The dumbbell exercise device may include a bar, end-weights at opposite ends of the bar, housings enclosing the end-weights, and a resistance band. The resistance band may be engaged by the first and second housings and extend between the first and second end-weights at or near a perimeter of the end-weights. This and other embodiments provide enhanced lifting effects and engage muscle groups to improve grip strength.
