Method and apparatus for transmitting an identity
The invention relates to a session control entity, method and computer program for receiving a first identity of a calling user from a subscription entity, wherein the first identity is an identity for displaying to a called user, receiving a request from the calling user, including the first identity in the request as an identity for displaying to the called user, and, transmitting the request towards the called user.
COMMUNICATION METHOD IN TERMINAL AND TERMINAL SUITABLE FOR THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to technologies for a sensor network, machine-to-machine (M2M) communications, or machine type communications (MTC), and Internet of things (IoT), and may be utilized in intelligent services, based on the above technologies, such as a smart home, a smart building, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, smart grids, healthcare, smart electronics, advanced medical services, public safety network communications through fusion and convergence with conventional IT technologies and various industries. Data transmission control between a group of uncoordinated electronic devices in a computer network including the use of transmission authorization request messages and transmission authorization grant messages.
Complex computing network for establishing audio communication between users on a mobile application
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for connecting users and speakers via audio conversations on a mobile application. For example, a method comprises: providing speaker information associated with a speaker, wherein the speaker accesses a mobile application on a first mobile device of the speaker; determining a user accesses a mobile application on a second mobile device of the user; initiating an audio conversation between the speaker and the user; broadcasting, using the one or more computing device processors, on the mobile application, to a listener, a first audio conversation involving the speaker and the user, wherein the listener accesses the mobile application on a third mobile device of the listener.
Simultaneous LTE data and DSDA voice
Performing data communications by a Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA) user equipment (UE), while simultaneously conducting two concurrent voice calls. The UE may receive a request to perform data communications while conducting a first voice call on a first radio and concurrently conducting a second voice call on a second radio. The UE may then determine whether one of the voice calls is currently on hold. The UE may perform the data communications using the radio on which the held call is being conducted. The UE may therefore dynamically select available slots from the first radio and the second radio for performing the data communication, based on which of the first radio and the second radio has a voice call that is currently on hold. In some embodiments, the data communications may be performed using a Long Term Evolution (LTE) protocol stack.
VOIP ADAPTER FOR CONNECTING LANDLINE PHONES TO IP ROUTERS
Systems and methods for adapting traditional landline telephones to make and receive Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls and other communications are described. In some embodiments, an adapter, adaptor, or other device or apparatus connects an IP router, such as a WiFi router or other access point, to a traditional landline telephone (e.g., a phone using dual-tone multi-frequency, or DTMF, signaling), enabling the traditional landline phone to make and/or receive VoIP calls.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING MANAGED CALL RECORDING SERVICES
The supporting of the managed call recording is used for a call between a calling party and a called party, where a network node receives an invite message that initiates the call, and it is determined that either the calling party or the called party is a managed call recording (MCR) subscriber. A conference bridge is created for the calling party, the called party, and a session initiation protocol recording server (SRS), after the call has been answered by the called party. The network node transmits instructions to play MCR announcements using the conference bridge, prior to the call being connected between the calling party and the called party, where the call is recorded by the SRS.
Call Handling between a Cellular Network and a Communication Service
Techniques for call handling between a cellular network and a communication service are described. In at least some embodiments, a call refers to a real-time exchange of communication media between different communication endpoints. According to one or more embodiments, techniques described herein determine whether to route a call over a cellular network or to transfer (e.g., hand over) the call from the cellular network to a communication service. This determination can be made based on various policies that consider different call-related criteria.
Local communication interception
In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus, comprising communication circuitry configured to receive a message, and execution circuitry configured to, in response to the message comprising an instruction to intercept a direct device-to-device (D2D) communication, render the apparatus capable of storing at least in part the direct device-to-device communication in at least one of the apparatus and a memory. The intercepting may comprise lawful interception.
Methods for processing emergency call and communications apparatuses utilizing the same
A communications apparatus includes a baseband signal processing device, an RF signal processing device, a memory device, and a processor. The processor transmits a normal call-establishment signal with a remote identifier to a network to originate a normal call in response to a first call-origination request with the remote identifier, receives an indication message indicating that the normal call is routed as an emergency call from the network, records the remote identifier in the memory device, and when receiving a second call-origination request with the remote identifier, transmits an emergency call-establishment signal with the remote identifier to the network to originate an emergency call in response to the second call-origination request.
Complex computing network for improving establishment and broadcasting of audio communication among mobile computing devices and for providing rapid audio conversations
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for improving establishment and broadcasting of communication, including establishing rapid audio conversations. For example, a method comprises determining a first user accesses a mobile application on a first mobile device of the first user; determining a second user accesses the mobile application on a second mobile device of the second user; initiating an audio conversation, for a first period, between the first mobile device of the first user and the second mobile device of the second user; and upon termination of the first period, initiating a second audio conversation between the first mobile device of the first user and a third mobile device of the third user unless the first user extends the audio conversation with the second mobile device of the second user.
