Call set up failure rate metric and communication network optimization based thereon
A computer-implemented method includes generating at least one call detail record for each call initiated on a communication network, aggregating the call detail records generated over a predetermined time period to provide an aggregated call detail record, and calculating a call set up failure rate for the calls from the aggregated call detail record, wherein the call set up failure rate is a measure of the amount of calls that failed prior to ringing at a called party's device. The computer-implemented method further includes adjusting parameters of the communication network when the call set up failure rate is above a threshold.
Complex computing network for improving establishment and streaming of audio communication among mobile computing devices
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for improving establishment and broadcasting of communication among mobile computing devices. For example, a method comprises determining a first user accesses a mobile application on a first mobile device of the first user; determining a second user accesses the mobile application on a second mobile device of the second user; and initiating the audio conversation between the first user and the second user, wherein the audio conversation is streamed to a third user who accesses the mobile application on a third mobile device of the third user.
Machine learning-based audio codec switching
Described herein are techniques, devices, and systems for providing an optimal voice experience over varying radio frequency (RF) conditions while using EVS audio codecs. A user equipment (UE) may adaptively transition between using a music-capable EVS codec (e.g., EVS-FB) as a default audio codec that provides a first audio bandwidth and a different EVS audio codec that provides a second audio bandwidth that is less than the first audio bandwidth. The transition to the different EVS audio codec may occur in response to determining a value indicative of a RF condition associated with a serving base station is less than a threshold value, which allows for providing preserving at least a minimal level of voice quality in degraded RF conditions.
Providing E911 service to landline phones using a VoIP adapter
Systems and methods for providing E911 services to a publicly-switched telephone network (PSTN) phone are described. In some embodiments, the systems and methods determine that the PSTN phone is connected to a voice over internet protocol (VoIP) adapter, identify an internet protocol (IP) address for an access point via which the adapter accesses an IP Multimedia System (IMS) network, determine a geographical location associated with the IP address, and enable E911 communications for the PSTN phone over the IMS network via the adapter based on the geographical location.
Complex computing network for improving streaming of audio conversations and displaying of visual representations on a mobile application
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for improving of audio conversations and displaying of visual representations among mobile devices. For example, a method comprises determining a first user accesses a mobile application on a first mobile device of a first user; determining a second user accesses the mobile application on a second mobile device of the second user; initiating audio communication between the first mobile device of the first user and the second mobile device of the second user; and streaming the audio communication, either as a substantially live stream or as a recorded stream, to a third mobile device of a third user.
Complex computing network for generating and handling a waitlist associated with a speaker in an audio conversation on a mobile application
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for generating and handling a waitlist during an audio conversation on a mobile application. For example, a method comprises: receiving a request from a first user, listening to a first audio conversation involving a second user and a third user, to join a waitlist associated with the second user or the first audio conversation; adding the first user to the waitlist associated with the second user or the first audio conversation; enabling the second user to view the waitlist; and initiating a second audio conversation between the second user and a user on the waitlist upon termination of the first audio conversation.
Device and method for supporting plurality of SIMs in wireless communication system
An electronic device is disclosed. In addition, various embodiments recognized through the specification are possible. The electronic device includes a communication module, a processor operatively connected with the communication module, and a memory operatively connected with the processor. The memory includes instructions, when executed by the processor, causing the processor to receive information associated with a SIM of another electronic device from the other electronic device via the communication module, receive a user input requesting a voice call for a first SIM of the other electronic device, and transmit a message requesting a voice call for a second SIM of the other electronic device to an IMS server via the communication module based on the information associated with the SIM.
COMPLEX COMPUTING NETWORK FOR IMPROVING STREAMING AND ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMUNICATION AMONG MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICES BASED ON GENERATING VISUAL REPRESENTATIONS FOR USE IN AUDIO CONVERSATIONS
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for improving establishment and broadcasting of communication among mobile computing devices based on generating visual representations for use in audio conversations.
COMPLEX COMPUTING NETWORK FOR IMPROVING ESTABLISHMENT AND BROADCASTING OF AUDIO COMMUNICATION AMONG MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICES AND PROVIDING DESCRIPTIVE OPERATOR ACCESS FOR IMPROVING USER EXPERIENCE
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for improving establishment and broadcasting of communication among mobile computing devices, including providing an improved user experience using descriptive operator access. For example, a method comprises determining a first user accesses a mobile application on a first mobile device of the first user; determining a second user accesses the mobile application on a second mobile device of the second user; and initiating the audio conversation between the first user and the second user, wherein the audio conversation is streamed to a third user who accesses the mobile application on a third mobile device of the third user, wherein a selectable descriptive operator associated with at least one of the audio conversation, the first user, or the second user, is displayed to third user on the mobile application.
Complex Computing Network For Establishing Audio Communication Between Users On A Mobile Application
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for connecting users and speakers via audio conversations on a mobile application. For example, a method comprises: providing speaker information associated with a speaker, wherein the speaker accesses a mobile application on a first mobile device of the speaker; determining a user accesses a mobile application on a second mobile device of the user; initiating an audio conversation between the speaker and the user; broadcasting, using the one or more computing device processors, on the mobile application, to a listener, a first audio conversation involving the speaker and the user, wherein the listener accesses the mobile application on a third mobile device of the listener.
