An apparatus and a method by a terminal in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes transmitting first information including a public land mobile network identifier (PLMN ID) for a sponsored service, to a first server operated by a service provider, receiving, in response to the first information, second information including a token related to the sponsored service from the first server, transmitting third information requesting the sponsored service based on the token to a second server operated by a network operator corresponding to the PLMN ID, and receiving authentication information from the second server.

The present disclosure is directed to syncing data related to voice calls via dynamically assigned virtual phone numbers. A system receives a voice call entry from a content provider. The system access a lot data structure to parse the log data structure. The system matches a device identifier of the voice call entry with a device identifier of the log entry. The system determines that a predetermined threshold is satisfied by a time or duration of the log entry. The system retrieves a virtual phone number from the log entry. The system performs a lookup to determine a content item impression identifier. The system stores data provided via the voice call entry.

A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a controller operable to determine a behavioral pattern of at least one of a subscriber leader and a plurality of subscriber followers who track activities of the subscriber leader. The controller can be further operable to detect a first request to transmit first media content from a first device of a first plurality of devices of the subscriber leader to a second plurality of devices of the plurality of subscriber followers, identify in the first media content a first substitutable advertisement product, substitute the first substitutable product in the first media content with a first advertisement product selected according to the determined behavioral pattern to generate updated first media content, and transmit the updated first media content to the second plurality of devices of the plurality of subscriber followers. An objective of the present invention is to provide a method and apparatus for performing charging control to a sponsored data application, receiving a service access request submitted by a user; determining a sponsored data application corresponding to the service access request based on a predetermined policy rule; transmitting a credit control request to a sponsored data charging device; receiving the credit control response returned from the sponsored data charging device, wherein the credit control response includes the charging control information corresponding to the service access request; redirecting the service access request to a network device corresponding to the sponsored data application based on the charging control information. Compared with the prior art, the present invention determines a corresponding sponsored data application based on a service access request submitted by a user; further, corresponding charging control information is determined based on the sponsored data application, and a corresponding network device is redirected to based on the information; therefore, the present invention improves the accurate ratio and efficiency of the charging system.

A method of adding a value to a customer account is provided. A request to add a value to a customer account of a customer is received from a point of sale terminal. The request may comprise value identification data associated with the value and account identification data associated with the customer account. The customer account identification data may be entered at the point of sale. The request may be associated with a purchase of the value. The value may be caused to be added to the customer account. During subsequent value purchase transactions, additional value may be added to the account.

Provided is a method by a user equipment (UE) for providing a sponsoring service in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: determining at least one UE to be provided with the sponsoring service, accessing to a server providing the sponsoring service, and registering to the server providing the sponsoring service; and transmitting a request of the sponsoring service comprising identification information of the at least one UE, to the server providing the sponsoring service.

The present invention faces the issue of a user ignoring an alternative second service usable instead of a first service that the user is using, and which is a service subscribed by the user. To solve this issue, the present invention provides for associating a first service identifier and a second service identifier with a same service category at a subscription repository; upon detecting at a policy enforcer the first service is used by the user, notifying a policy controller of the first service identifier; obtaining, by the policy controller from the subscription repository, the second service identifier associated with the same service category as the first service identifier; offering the user, either directly from the policy controller or via the policy enforcer, to accept using the second service instead of the used first service; and, upon user accepting to use the second service, enforcing control rules for the second service at the policy enforcer.
