WEIGHT STACK ISOLATOR AND SELECTORIZED MACHINE INCORPORATING THE SAME
A weight stack isolator comprises an impact damper having a rail void therein configured to receive a guide rail of a selectorized machine. The impact damper is shaped to at least partially surround a section of the guide rail when received in the rail void, to secure the weight stack isolator to the selectorized machine. The weight stack isolator may include a slit extending from its outer perimeter to the rail void or the rail void may extend to the outer perimeter, to removably receive the guide rail in the rail void. The weight stack isolator can be positioned under a weight stack of the selectorized machine to absorb or dampen noise and vibration.
AUTO-ADJUSTABLE WEIGHT DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A physical training system is disclosed. The system includes a weight device having a weight retainer which receives one or more weight rods. The weight rods are selectively and removably retained within the weight retainer. A platform receives the weight device and carries one or more weight rods not selected and retained within the weight retainer. A software application is provided in communication with the platform or weight device and configured to drive selection and retention of the number of weight rods to be retained within the weight retainer. A database of selectable workout segments is also provided, wherein the software application selects and executes a selectable workout segment from the database of selectable workout segments simultaneously with the selection of one or more weight rods which are retained by the weight device.
Pivoting weight arm assembly
A weight arm assembly for use with a weight lifting rack is provided, the weight arm assembly including a mounting bracket configured to be attached to a vertical surface in a fixed position, an arm mount configured to be coupled to the mounting bracket so as to be pivotable about a first axis, a stop member coupled to the arm mount and configured to move between an engaged position to prevent pivoting of the arm mount through interaction with the mounting bracket, and a disengaged position to allow pivoting of the arm mount, and a weight arm configured to be coupled to the arm mount, proximate a first end of the weight arm, so as to be pivotable about a second axis substantially orthogonal to the first axis.
Forearm Exercise Apparatus
A forearm exercise apparatus includes a base having a central pillar extending from a top surface thereof. A forearm support is disposed on the base, the forearm support having a forearm support platform and an elbow support coupled to the forearm support platform. First and second handles extend upward from the base, and are offset from a lateral axis of the base that passes through a center of the forearm support and the central pillar on the base. The handles are capable of being gripped by a hand of a user when a user's opposite forearm is placed on the forearm support. A plurality of legs extends downward, away from the central pillar. A lower platform is spaced apart from the lower shelf, the lower platform extending outward, beyond at least one edge of the base.
TETHERED RESISTANCE SWIM TRAINING APPARATUS WITH SMART PULLEY
The present invention is a tethered resistance swim training apparatus with a pulley that includes an electronic tachometer to measure the rotations of the wheel of the pulley and strain gauge to measure the force pulling on the body of the pulley. The pulley, also referred to as “smart pulley”, can be implemented in many tethered swim training apparatuses of different arrangements. With the tachometer and strain gauge the power and other performance metrics can be calculated while a swimmer is using the apparatus. A load cell or similar can be used in place of a strain gauge. The sensors may be connected via wired or wireless communications to a computer (tablet, laptop, personal computer, server, or the like) for processing of the signals and display on an electronic display.
POWER ADJUSTMENT DEVICE
The present invention discloses a power adjustment device. The power adjustment device includes a steel cylinder and a piston arranged inside the steel cylinder in a sliding mode, wherein the piston is fixedly provided with a guide rod, the guide rod being connected to a dustproof cover in a sliding mode, and a steel cable being fixed to an upper end of the guide rod; the piston is provided with a one-way air guide structure, the one-way air guide structure including an air guiding channel, the air guiding channel including a circular upper channel and a circular lower channel, and an adjustment ball being arranged inside the upper channel; and purposes of eliminating vibration, lowering noise, eliminating potential safety hazards, being more convenient in assembly and lowering cost are achieved.
REPOSITIONING POINT OF ACTUATION FOR AN EXERCISE APPLIANCE
An exercise machine comprises an arm support, including: a carriage configured to slide within a track attached to the exercise machine; and a support assembly that floats the carriage relative to the track, wherein the support assembly is disengaged by the application of force via the arm. An exercise machine comprises a rotatable column, wherein the column supports an arm, and a gear detent mechanism to support a discrete number of positions for the rotatable column. An exercise machine comprises a tiltable arm, and a mechanism to support a discrete number of positions for the tiltable arm.
Spring release for exercise rack accessory mount
An apparatus having an accessory carrier that slides along an exercise rack and repositions an accessory through one-handed operation. A stationary handle fixedly mounts to the accessory carrier by first spacers. A moving handle mounts to the accessory carrier by second spacers. Each second spacer includes a barrel having an open end a closed end. A shaft extends through the barrel and the closed end and is mounted to the moving handle. As the moving handle moves to an engaged position, a pin end of the shaft slides out of the open end of the barrel and engages the exercise rack. This engagement prevents relative movement of the accessory carrier with respect to the exercise rack and fixes the accessory carrier at a selected position. A biasing member biases the moving handle to automatically engage the pin end and lock the accessory carrier in place.
Exercise power rack assembly attachment
A power rack assembly attachment having at least one support member that removably attaches to a vertical post in a power rack assembly or similar exercise equipment or machine and is connected to a parallel vertical support post that can receive a support hook for barbells. The power rack assembly attachment provides the ability to extend vertical support for support hooks closer to the user than the standard vertical posts in a power rack assembly.
SQUAT MACHINE
A squat machine is disclosed. The disclosed squat machine includes: a base frame; an exercise member which is rotatable about a first axis with respect to the base frame and capable of supporting at least one weight member; a support member which is rotatable about a second axis, which is different from the first axis, with respect to the base frame, is located on a rotation path of the exercise member, and rotates between a first position at which the exercise member is supportable and a second position out of the rotation path of the exercise member; a handle member which is formed on the exercise member to rotate about a third axis, which is different from the first axis and the second axis, so that the support member is rotated to the first position; a connection wire connecting the support member to the handle member; and a pulley guiding movement of the connection wire.
