BARBELL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
20230191186 · 2023-06-22 ·

A barbell support assembly is provided, including: a base; a support arm, including a connection section and a hook section connected with a first end of the connection section, the connection section being rotatably connected to the base and swingable between a first position and a second position, the hook section defining a hooking space; and a restoration unit, connected with a second end of the connection section, biasing the support arm toward the first position; when a rod of a barbell is received within the hooking space, the barbell drives the support arm to move from the first position to the second position, and when the rod of the barbell is removed from the support arm, the restoration unit forces the support arm to return to the first position.

Cam and wedge barbell clip
09839806 · 2017-12-12 ·

A clip having a cam and upper and lower curved sections with each upper and lower curved section having corresponding inner and outer curved wedges, the inner and outer curved wedges slidably engaging with each other and tightening about a barbell to secure a weight plate on a barbell upon rotation of a cam lever to a closed position.

ADJUSTABLE WEIGHT LIFTING DEVICE

Exercise apparatuses are described herein. An example embodiment of an exercise apparatus includes a first shaft, a first frame, a first handle, a second frame, a second handle, a second shaft, and a third shaft. The first frame is attached to the first shaft. The first handle is rotatably attached to the first frame such that the first handle can rotate relative to the first frame. The second frame is attached to the first shaft. The second handle is rotatably attached to the second frame such that the second handle can rotate relative to the second frame. The second shaft is attached to the first frame and the third shaft is attached to the second frame.

Hand-held adjustable exercise apparatus
09833654 · 2017-12-05 ·

A single hand-held full body muscle building exercise apparatus, with a curved bar, that allows conventional disc shaped weights to be mounted on each end of the bar, with two handles located near the longitudinal center of the bar, that are adjustable, to allow for targeting specific muscle groups in the hands, arms, shoulders, chest, abdomen, back, buttocks, legs, ankles and feet. Each handle is adjustable to allow symmetrical and asymmetrical changes in gravitational load on each side of the user's body. The distance between each hand, and the rotational angles of the wrists, forearms, and shoulders can be changed while maintaining the center of gravity, of the weighted bar, about the center of gravity of the human body, during lower body and upper body exercises.

Adjustable support for exercise system

An exemplary exercise device includes, among other things, an attachment structure configured to be mounted to a support assembly, a first arm directly pivotably connected to the attachment structure, a second arm directly pivotably connected to the attachment structure, a bracket directly pivotably connected to the first arm and directly pivotably connected to the second arm, and a catch member configured for accepting a weight bar. The catch member is pivotably connected to at least one of the first arm, the second arm, or the at least one bracket such that the at least one catch member is pivotable relative to the at least one bracket.

Exercise bar with dynamically rotating hand grips

An exercise bar assembly includes a pair of rotating grip assemblies, each including a generally planar frame and a hand grip mounted within the frame for rotation within in the plane of the frame. The rotating grip assemblies are attachable to opposite ends of a center bar assembly along the longitudinal axis of the bar assembly. A plate bar assembly is attachable to each of the rotating grip assemblies opposite the center rod, with the plate bar assembly aligned with the longitudinal axis to form a weight lifting bar. A user-selectable elastic band is engageable between the pair of rotating grip assemblies along the longitudinal axis so that the elastic band resists rotation of each hand grip in each of the rotating grip assemblies. The rotating grip assemblies of the exercise bar assembly allow for the full range of motion of the bicep, and the elastic band creates a resistance exercise through the bicep's full range of motion.

Folding Exercise Rack
20230173319 · 2023-06-08 ·

A folding exercise rack, particularly a squat rack, is provided. The squat rack is movable between an operating position having a width and length to a storage position having a substantially reduced width and length. This allows for the squat rack to be set up in the operating position temporarily which allows for a user to remove the squat rack from a space after their exercise session and thus does not require that a user have a dedicated semi-permanent space for their squat rack. The reduction in width and length also allows for the squat rack to be easily stored, for example, in a closet, without taking up a large volume of space and with a relatively small footprint compared to the operating footprint. It also allows for the relatively easy transport of the squat rack from one location to another, for example, while traveling as complete disassembly is not necessary to achieve this reduction in the length and width directions.
