Strength exercise mechanisms
A treadmill includes a frame, an exercise deck attached to the frame, and a first handle movably attached to the frame. The first handle has a first orientation where the first handle is positioned within a region above the exercise deck and stabilized to support a user's weight during a body weight exercise, and a second orientation where the first handle is positioned away from the region above the exercise deck.
Adjustable dumbbell system
An adjustable dumbbell includes weight plates that are selectively connectable to a handle. Unselected weight plates are secured to a cradle. To secure the unselected weight plates to the cradle, a latch in the cradle is inserted into an engagement surface notch in the weight plate. The unselected weight plates are individually actuated based on which weight plates are selected and connected to the handle.
ADJUSTABLE DUMBBELL WITH WEIGHT ADJUSTING KEY USING A CLEVIS PIN
A dumbbell apparatus which is adapted with a series of weight plates, the number of which can be safely and reliably adjusted with a single simple motion. The apparatus comprises a cradle for storing and deploying the apparatus, weight plates, and a handle apparatus which has two spline bolts which support the weight plates and are used to simultaneously be adjusted by means of an adjusting pin which moves the spline members together through a motion transmitting gear. The apparatus may be further enhance with permanent weights and gripping options.
ADJUSTABLE DUMBBELL
A dumbbell may include a handle, a first weighted portion and a second weighted portion, wherein the first weighted portion has a first cap and a first receiving space to receive one or more weighted units therein, and the second weighted portion has a second cap and a second receiving space to receive one or more weighted units therein. In one embodiment, the handle has a first threaded portion and a second threaded portion located at two opposite ends of the handle, and the first threaded portion is configured to threadedly engage with a first cap to secure the weighted units in the first receiving space, while the second threaded portion is configured is configured to threadedly engage with the second cap to secure the weighted units in the second receiving space.
Weight attachment device
A weight attachment device for attaching dumbbells to a weightlifting belt includes a pair of clamping units, each of which is mountable to respective opposed side of a weightlifting belt so that the clamping units are positioned singly proximate to hips of a user upon donning of the weightlifting belt by the user. Each clamping unit is selectively engageable to a respective dumbbell of a pair of dumbbells so that the respective dumbbell is removably engaged to the clamping unit. The pair of clamping units engages a pair of dumbbells so that the dumbbells are positioned singly proximate to the hips of the user. The user thus is positioned to perform exercises without using their hands to grasp the dumbbells.
MODULAR EXERCISE BAR AND WEIGHT ASSEMBLY, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A modular exercise bar and weight system is provided. The system includes a first bar, a second bar, and a third bar. Each bar includes an attachment mechanism on each end such that the bars may be connected end-to-end in a variety of different configurations. The system also includes one or more weight members configured with compatible attachment mechanisms such that the weight members may be attached to the ends of the modular bars to increase the weight of the bars. The weight members also be attached to one another so that multiple weight members may be attached to any end of any bar combination.
Inertial device and method of implementing an inertial device
An apparatus or system defined by a handheld exercise device includes a weighted body; a handle arranged along a radial axis of the weighted body; and a connector that creates at least one connection between each radially distal end of the handle and a component of the weighted body. The handheld exercise device, in use, minimizes one or more peak forces and rotational inertia acting on a forearm of a user actively engaging the handheld exercise device in motion.
Elastic exercise device and method of using
In one embodiment a fitness device is disclosed. The fitness device may include a central handle having a body with a central aperture through the body. The device may also include a first rod removably coupled to the central handle at a first location and a second rod removably coupled to the central handle at a second location, opposite the first location. The device may also include an elastic member having a first end and a second end, the first end being coupled to the first rod and the second end being coupled to the second rod.
Weight-adjustable dumbbell
Provided is a weight-adjustable dumbbell, including a grip bar assembly, a dumbbell seat, a plurality of dumbbell discs placed on the dumbbell seat; the grip bar assembly includes a plurality of hanging discs arranged adjacent to each other and are rotated synchronously, and the hanging discs are rotated relative to the dumbbell discs to setting positions to engage with or disengage from the dumbbell discs. The grip bar assembly also includes at least one stopping mechanism, each stopping mechanism includes at least one locking component, and the dumbbell seat is provided with a limiting hole for the locking component to be engaged with. When the hanging discs are rotated to a setting position, the locking component is disengaged from the limiting hole to maintain an unlocked state. When the hanging discs are rotated between two setting positions, the locking component is inserted into the limiting hole to maintain a locked state.
QUICK RELEASING DEVICE AND WEIGHT APPARATUS
A quick releasing device includes a housing, a first detent structure, a second detent structure, a first elastic member and a second elastic member. The housing has a through hole and two openings located on two sides of the housing, respectively. The first detent structure includes a first engaging portion and a first abutting portion. The first abutting portion is connected to the first engaging portion. The second detent structure includes a second engaging portion and a second abutting portion. The second engaging portion forms an engaging space with the first engaging portion. The engaging space is corresponding to the through hole. The second abutting portion is connected to the second engaging portion. The first elastic member is telescopically connected between the first engaging portion and the second abutting portion. The second elastic member is telescopically connected between the second engaging portion and the first abutting portion.
