The weightlifting disc (1) further comprises at least one reinforcing device (20), arranged into the disc part (10) circumferentially around the center (13), between the outer edge (11) and the inner edge (12) of the disc part (10), wherein the reinforcing device (20) is arranged at a distance (a) from the inner edge (12) of the disc part (10) such as elastomeric material is arranged between the inner edge (12) of the disc part (10) and the reinforcing device (20).
