METHOD FOR CONTROLLING IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM AND WIRELESS OPERATION UNIT
A method for controlling an image forming system including a wireless operation unit having a third wireless communication unit, an acquiring unit that acquires status information of the image forming apparatuses, and a display that displays the status information of the image forming apparatuses includes a connection process in which the third wireless communication unit connects individually to each of a first wireless communication unit of a first image forming apparatus and a second wireless communication unit of a second image forming apparatus via wireless communication without a wireless LAN router, an acquisition process in which the acquiring unit acquires the status information of the first image forming apparatus and the status information of the second image forming apparatus individually, and a display process in which the display displays the status information of the first image forming apparatus and the status information of the second image forming apparatus.
SCANNING SYSTEM, COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM, AND IMAGE SCANNER FOR CONFIGURING SETTING INFORMATION FOR THE IMAGE SCANNER
A scanning system includes an image scanner, an information processing terminal, and a server interconnected via a network. The information processing terminal includes a terminal-side controller to configure setting information according to an operation received via a terminal-side input interface and transmit the setting information to the server along with identification information for identifying the information processing terminal. The image scanner includes a scanner-side controller to store the setting information and the identification information forwarded from the server, into a memory in association with each other, and when receiving, via a scanner-side input interface, an operation for instructing the image scanner to perform image scanning and an operation for specifying the information processing terminal as a destination, perform the image scanning to generate scanned data with the information processing terminal as the destination of the scanned data, based on the setting information associated with the identification information in the memory.
Secure digital media capture and analysis
Systems and methods for generating certified images, annotations, and incident reports are disclosed. A media capture device can be used to capture a media asset and related metadata. The image and its metadata can then be certified upon capture so that it can be verified as authentic and unaltered after certification. The certified media asset can then be included in or as a part of an incident report, which may optionally align multiple media assets along a path based on location and time of capture. The report may itself be certified and synchronized with a cloud server system.
DIGITAL ZOOM BASED ON REMOTE USER INSTRUCTIONS OF LIVE VIDEO
Systems and methods facilitate digital zoom of live video based on remote user instructions. A user of a remote device may desire to zoom in on a particular aspect of a copy of a full image captured by a sensor at a first resolution and communicated to the remote device at a second resolution less than the first resolution. A selection that corresponds to a user-selected area of the copy and corresponding to a portion of the sensor is received by the sensor. Based on the selection, an instruction is generated to capture a second electronic image utilizing the portion of the sensor with the first resolution. Thus, rather than zooming into the first electronic image at the second resolution, the second electronic image corresponding to the portion of the sensor is captured at the first resolution and then converted to the second resolution, resulting in a higher resolution zoom.
Light management for image and data control
Methods and devices for improving visual perception in challenging vision environments and for some with low vision conditions (including age related macular degeneration, AMD) are disclosed. A plurality of frequently co-pathological conditions that together make undistorted, clear and bright vision challenging are dealt with by managing the nature, amounts and patterns of light reaching the eyes while managing the sensitivity and dynamic ranges of the eyes. For example, the sensitivity of chromophore response to particular wavelengths and the instant status of the visual transduction system are, in some embodiments, measured, monitored and managed.
Omnidirectional camera system with improved point of interest selection
An image capturing device includes an imaging device and circuitry. The imaging device captures an image. The circuitry defines a point of interest in the image, converts the defined point of interest in accordance with attitude information of the image capturing device, and cuts out a viewable area from the image. The viewable area includes the converted point of interest.
Moving image reproduction apparatus, candidate jump destination display method, and computer program
A moving image reproduction apparatus for reproducing a moving image for explaining a work including a plurality of steps, includes: a reproducer that reproduces the moving image; a progress display that displays an indicator indicating a progress of reproduction of the moving image and a position on the indicator where the moving image is being currently reproduced; and a candidate display that displays a candidate image corresponding to at least one jump destination included in the moving image when a predetermined operation is performed on the indicator.
Image reading apparatus for displaying a screen based on a plurality of screen data divided into a plurality of layers
An image reading apparatus includes a first processor to control a communication device to receive a plurality of screen data divided into a plurality of layers from an information processing apparatus, and store the received plurality of screen data in a storage device, and a second processor to control a reading device to read an image from the medium and display a screen based on the plurality of screen data on the display device. The second processor transmits a request signal to the first processor when, while a screen based on screen data of a first predetermined layer among the plurality of screen data is displayed on the display device, displaying a screen based on screen data of a second predetermined layer is requested. The first processor reads the screen data of the second predetermined layer to transmit the screen data to the second processor based on the request signal.
Generation of synthetic alerts and unified dashboard for viewing multiple layers of data center simultaneously
Systems and methods provide for automatically generating a data model that includes a first data feed conforming to industry standards where only alerts for alert triggering violations are provided. The data model further comprises a second data feed that includes both the alerts from the first data feed and a plurality of synthetic alerts for any violations that occur in a data center but do not qualify as alert triggering violations. This second data feed provides a complete picture of the performance of a data center's devices and allows for accurate analytics.
ADJUSTABLE CAMERA SYSTEMS FOR DISPLAYS
An apparatus includes an integrated camera/scanner system built into the display housing of a display device. The apparatus includes a camera housing contained within the display housing. A door is attached to the camera housing in a pivoting manner. A minor is affixed to a planar surface of the door, where the planar surface faces inward into the camera housing. A camera is housed within the camera housing. The camera is mounted in the camera housing in a manner that allows the camera to pivot to adjust an angle of image capture. An actuator moves the camera housing in and out of the display housing.
