Exercise rack enclosure system
An exercise rack enclosure system for providing an exercise rack which is concealable within an enclosure. The exercise rack enclosure system generally includes an enclosure including an interior space. An exercise rack is pivotably connected to the enclosure within the interior space. The exercise rack is adjustable between a collapsed position, in which the exercise rack is completely positioned within the interior space of the enclosure, and an extended position, in which the exercise rack extends out of the interior space of the enclosure for use. The enclosure may optionally include one or more doors for concealing the interior space and exercise rack when not in use. Various attachments may be stored in the enclosure and removably connected to the exercise rack for performing a wide range of exercise moves.
Systems For Supporting Dumbbells
The present disclosure generally pertains to barbell and dumbbell support systems that allow for a user to perform exercises without requiring movement of the body of the user from the proximity of weight support assemblies when weights are in use. Weight support systems include extendable arm assemblies for the holding and positioning of barbells or dumbbells in a location conducive to performing exercises. Extendable arm assemblies automatically retract when a user removes the barbell or dumbbells from the assemblies, allowing the user to perform the intended exercise without moving away from the system. The retracted position of the extendable arm assemblies allows the user to replace the weights without the assistance of others at the conclusion of the exercise.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus comprising a seat and a foot support secured on a longitudinal support frame, the seat and foot support being configured to support the torso and feet of a user so that the hips of the user are positioned in an exercise area defined between the seat and foot support, wherein the apparatus further includes an arm having a first end and second end, the first end being mounted to the support frame and the second end including a deformable material, wherein the first end is mounted for pivotal motion of the arm within a limited range, the arm including a support bar restricting pivotal motion within the exercise area whereby the second end is suspended within the exercise area and enabled for pivotal motion in a transverse direction relative to the support frame, the arm further being operatively associated with a source of resistance to the pivotal motion of the arm in the transverse direction relative to the support frame.
WEIGHTLIFTING APPARATUS WITH DYNAMIC ASSIST
A weight training apparatus includes an electrical hoist and a cable coupled to the electrical hoist. A first end of the cable is coupled to the electrical hoist and a second end is configured to attach to a barbell assembly. A sensor is configured to output a signal indicative of a lift position of the barbell assembly. A controller is programmed to compare the lift position to an predetermined vertical locations and activate the electrical hoist to change the lift position of the barbell assembly based at least in part on at least one of the lift position or vertical lift velocity relative to the predetermined vertical locations.
Barbell
A barbell comprising a bar member, a first side weight assembly and a second side weight assembly. The bar member has a first side sleeve region and a second side sleeve region opposite the first side sleeve region. The first side weight assembly includes a weight surface and extends over the first side sleeve region, and is rotatively coupled to the bar member through an inner and outer slidable engagement surface. The second side weight assembly includes a weight surface and extends over the second side sleeve region, and is rotatively coupled to the bar member through an inner and outer slidable engagement surface. The bar member includes a first and second surface enhanced region, the first surface enhanced region spanning a portion of the central region and the first side sleeve region, and with the second surface enhanced region spanning a portion of the central region and the second side sleeve region.
MULTIPURPOSE EXERCISE BENCH
An exercise bench includes a base, a slidable seat coupled to and slidable along the base, and a removable pad positionable on frame. When the removable pad is positioned on the frame, the removable pad prevents movement of the slidable seat along the base and provides a static bench surface configured to support a user during a strength training exercise.
MOTOR POWERED LIFTING RACK SYSTEM
A motorized lifting rack that selectively lifts and lowers a barbell through linear actuators is provided. The powered lifting rack can engage a barbell at floor level. The linear actuators can also selectively raise and lower safety bars design to “spot” the barbell for a single user. The powered lifting rack is embodied in a system that includes a platform that the safety bars can nest in. The platform provides a plurality of actuating benches for a user of the barbell to utilize.
Spacer system for a weight lifting apparatus
A spacer apparatus for maximizing a user's range of motion on a weightlifting exercise machine. The spacer apparatus includes a first interlocking part having a semi-circular body extending between top and bottom portions, and a lock portion extending between first and second ends of the semi-circular body. The first and second ends are spaced and a keyway is between the first and second ends. The spacer apparatus includes a second interlocking part having a body extending, at least partially, between first and second ends, and entirely between top and bottom portions. The body of the second interlocking part has a semi-circular portion with a key portion extending therefrom. In the interlocked configuration, the key portion extends between the keyway such that an outer perimeter of the first interlocking part and an outer perimeter of the second interlocking part are aligned.
Exercise machine
An exercise machine may include a frame, a resistance mechanism supported by the frame, first and second pull cables supported by the frame and linked to the resistance mechanism, a power rack attached to the frame, first and second handles selectively attachable to the first and second pull cable, and first and second pulleys. The power rack includes upright posts configured to have barbell holders adjustably attached thereto such that the barbell holders are configured to be adjusted in various positions between highest positions and lowest positions on the upright posts. The pulleys are configured to selectively receive the pull cables to enable the pull cables to be selectively attached to a barbell to assist or hinder a user in lifting the barbell in a combined cable and free weight workout, the pull cables decoupled from the pulleys for cable workouts.
