An image forming apparatus includes a first storage that stores therein operation flow information indicating an operation flow in the image forming apparatus. An information processing device includes a second storage, a second display section, and a second input section. The second storage stores therein operation manual information indicating an operation manual for the image forming apparatus. The second display section displays the operation manual in accordance with the operation manual information. The second display section displays the operation flow in accordance with the operation flow information when an execution button on the operation manual displayed on the second display section is operated through the second input section.

When storing captured image data in an information server, a mobile information terminal transmits related information (date and time information, location information, direction angle information, information of a distance to a subject, and user identification information) at the time of imaging to the information server. In addition, when making a request for the image data stored in the information server, current terminal information and image search conditions describing image data replay conditions are transmitted to the information server. A management apparatus includes circuitry that stores, in a memory, facsimile data received by an electronic device in association with information on a group to which the received facsimile data belongs, and transmits a list of the received facsimile data based on a browse request of the received facsimile data. In the list, the received facsimile data is classified according to at least the information on the group to which the electronic device belongs.

A print management unit attaches an identifier to print data that goes through a custom processing unit functioning by execution of a custom class driver, and delivers the print data with the identifier attached, to a standard print control unit. The custom processing unit deletes the identifier from the print data delivered from the standard print control unit and customizes processing of causing a printer to execute printing, based on the print data. The print management unit detects a read state of the custom class driver by execution of an OS. When the read state indicates a failure in reading the custom class driver, the print management unit delivers the print data without the identifier attached, to the standard print control unit, and thus causes the printer to execute the printing that is limited via a standard communication control unit or to stop the printing.

An electronic device having a camera, while displaying a live preview for the camera, detects activation of a shutter button at a first time. In response, the electronic device acquires, by the camera, a representative image that represents a first sequence of images, and a plurality of images after acquiring the representative image, and also displays an indication in the live preview that the camera is capturing images for the first sequence of images. The electronic device groups images acquired by the camera in temporal proximity to the activation of the shutter button at the first time into the first sequence of images, such that the first sequence of images includes a plurality of images acquired by the camera prior to detecting activation of the shutter button at the first time, the representative image, and the plurality of images acquired by the camera after acquiring the representative image.

An information processing apparatus includes a communication unit, a detection unit, and a remote operation unit. The communication unit communicates with an external device. The detection unit detects a sound. The remote operation unit operates the external device with at least one of operations on the external device invalidated, and validates an operation on the external device, which has been invalidated, in the case where a first specific sound is detected by the detection unit with a reception screen for receiving a specific input by a user displayed on the external device.
