IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
An image forming apparatus includes: an image former that executes image forming processing; a primary controller; a secondary controller that controls the image former; a sensor that detects a state of at least a unit of the image forming apparatus and transmits sensor data indicating the state to the secondary controller; a first transmission path for duplex communication between the primary and secondary controllers; and a second transmission path. The secondary controller: generates, from the sensor data, diagnostic data for failure diagnostics or life prediction, transmits data other than the diagnostic data to the primary controller via the first transmission path and transmits the diagnostic data to the diagnostic server via the second transmission path, or transmits data other than the sensor data to the primary controller via the first transmission path and transmits the sensor data to the diagnostic server via the second transmission path.
Image forming apparatus and diagnostic system increasing frequency of acquiring diagnostic data
An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming unit that performs image forming processing on a recording sheet; a primary central processing unit (CPU) and a secondary CPU, where the primary CPU receives a job externally and instructs the secondary CPU to monitor and control the image forming unit to perform the image forming processing; sensors that sense a state of the image forming unit and output sensor data indicating the state of the image forming unit, a first transceiver; and a second transceiver. The secondary CPU monitors the sensor data to generate diagnostic data. The first transceiver performs duplex communication with the primary CPU to send and receive data other than the diagnostic data. The second transceiver sends the diagnostic data to the diagnostic server without relaying via the primary CPU.
Color control in a printing press by adapting the print image data in the device-independent color space to deviating measurement conditions of the output profile using UV light excitation
A method performs color control in a printing operation on a printing machine by use of a computer. The computer uses an input profile to transform print image data from a first color space to a device-independent color space, subsequently uses an output profile to transform the print image data into a second color space dependent on the printing machine. The computer compares measurement conditions of the used input profile and of the output profile to be generated, and, if there are differences between the respective measurement conditions, adapts the print image data in the device-independent color space to deviating measurement conditions of the output profile. The printing machine subsequently executes the printing operation using the print image data, and wherein UV light excitation is used for the measurement conditions of the output profile.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a first ejection destination to which a recording medium is ejected, and a second ejection destination disposed at a position which is less visually recognized from a surrounding user than the first ejection destination; a memory; and a processor configured to perform control to turn on a first light emitting unit disposed at a position where a visually recognizable range from surroundings is wider than the second ejection destination, in a case where a recording medium ejected to the second ejection destination is left.
IMAGING DEVICE AND INFORMATION ACQUISITION SYSTEM IN WHICH AN ACQUIRED IMAGE AND ASSOCIATED INFORMATION ARE HELD ON A DISPLAY
An imaging device includes an imaging portion that images a subject; a positional information acquisition portion that acquires positional information of an imaging position; a control portion which acquires information on the subject based on the positional information, and displays image data of the subject and the information on the subject on a display portion; and a hold control portion that outputs a hold control signal, which holds the image data of the subject and the information on the subject, to the control portion.
Image forming apparatus and image forming apparatus control method
An image forming apparatus is operable at least in a first power state and in a second power state, in which electric power consumption in the second power state is less than electric power consumption in the first power state. The apparatus includes a detection unit formed by a plurality of elements disposed to detect the temperature of an object, and a control unit configured to control the image forming apparatus in such a way as to shift from the second power state to the first power state based on a detection result obtained by the detection unit at first timing and a detection result obtained by the detection unit at second timing.
Method and apparatus for efficiently transmitting small amounts of data in wireless communication systems
According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the method by means of which a mobility management entity (MME) determines the communication mode of a terminal in a communication system includes the steps of: receiving, from the terminal, an access request including information on the position of the terminal; transmitting a message to a home subscriber server (HSS) on the basis of the received access request; receiving, from the HSS, specific position information for setting a first mode; comparing the information on the position of the terminal with the specific position information; and determining the communication mode of the terminal according to the result of the comparison. According to the present disclosure, the frequent transmission of small amounts of data can be supported in an efficient manner.
