IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Exceeding a data bus limit is prevented by selecting a data transfer rate based on a color reading setting and other reading settings. An image processing apparatus including a reading unit configured to read a document, an image processing unit configured to process image data generated by reading the document with the reading unit, and a transfer unit configured to transfer the image data from the reading unit to the image processing unit further includes a reception unit configured to receive a color reading setting indicating whether the reading unit reads the document in color or monochrome and other reading settings and a selection unit configured to select an image data transfer rate of the transfer unit based on the color reading setting and the other reading setting received by the reception unit.
APPARATUS, METHOD, AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING IMAGE-FORMING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure provides an apparatus, a method and a system for monitoring an image-forming apparatus, and a storage medium. The apparatus includes a device search module, configured to search and read an image-forming apparatus and image-forming-apparatus information in a local area network; an internal storage apparatus, configured to store the image-forming-apparatus information after search; and a display interface, configured to display the image-forming-apparatus information stored in the internal storage apparatus for a user to select image-forming-apparatus information to-be-monitored from the image-forming-apparatus information and to monitor an image-forming apparatus corresponding to the image-forming-apparatus information to-be-monitored.
SYNCHRONIZED, INTERACTIVE AUGMENTED REALITY DISPLAYS FOR MULTIFUNCTION DEVICES
A device can receive live video of a real-world, physical environment on a touch sensitive surface. One or more objects can be identified in the live video. An information layer can be generated related to the objects. In some implementations, the information layer can include annotations made by a user through the touch sensitive surface. The information layer and live video can be combined in a display of the device. Data can be received from one or more onboard sensors indicating that the device is in motion. The sensor data can be used to synchronize the live video and the information layer as the perspective of video camera view changes due to the motion. The live video and information layer can be shared with other devices over a communication link.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
After a fixed period of time has passed with no operation received by an operating unit, a control unit switches the operation mode to a first power saving mode when the brightness detected by a brightness detection unit is greater than or equal to a given brightness, and switches the operation mode to a second power saving mode when the brightness detected is less than the given brightness. The control unit extends the detection range of a human detection unit in the second power saving mode to a range broader than the range used in the first power saving mode.
Print quality monitoring and correction
Various embodiments herein each include at least one of systems, software, and methods for detecting such problems and to take corrective action. One embodiment, in the form of a method, includes instructing a printer to print a document including a testing output and receiving an image of the document including the testing output from an imaging device. This method further includes analyzing the testing output included in the received image in view of an expected testing output to identify a printing issue and then storing a result of the analysis. The method may also include performing at least one remedial action to correct an identified printing issue.
IMAGE FORMING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
An image forming device including an image former, a primary controller, a secondary controller, one or more sensors, an interface, and a writer. The image former executes image forming processing to form an image on a sheet. The primary controller instructs the secondary controller to control the image former to execute the image forming processing. Each sensor detects a state of the image former and outputs sensor data to the secondary controller. The interface can be connected to a storage medium. The secondary controller generates diagnostic data based on the sensor data. The writer writes the diagnostic data to the storage medium via the interface. The diagnostic data is used by a diagnostic server to perform failure diagnostics and life prediction pertaining to the image forming device, after transfer to the diagnostic server via a transfer device when the storage medium is mounted to the transfer device.
Image forming apparatus stores contact history information of person contacted virus, and further displays information of survival of the virus contacted by the person at a site of the image forming apparatus
According to one embodiment, an image forming apparatus includes a printer, a memory, a processor, and a display. The printer forms an image according to the operation of a person. The memory stores contact history information indicating the history of contact of a person. The processor acquires information on contact infection of a virus at a site contacted by a specific person from the contact history information stored in the memory. The display shows information on the contact infection of the virus.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming unit that performs image forming processing on a recording sheet; a primary central processing unit (CPU) and a secondary CPU, where the primary CPU receives a job externally and instructs the secondary CPU to monitor and control the image forming unit to perform the image forming processing; sensors that sense a state of the image forming unit and output sensor data indicating the state of the image forming unit, a first transceiver; and a second transceiver. The secondary CPU monitors the sensor data to generate diagnostic data. The first transceiver performs duplex communication with the primary CPU to send and receive data other than the diagnostic data. The second transceiver sends the diagnostic data to the diagnostic server without relaying via the primary CPU.
Printer script autocorrect
A method of processing printer scripts is disclosed. A processor receives the printer script. For each original line of the printer script the process analyzes the line of script to find errors. If no error is found in the script, the script is transferred to a print engine for printing. If at least one error is found in any line of printer script: the script is modified to correct the printer script error and produce a modified line of printer script. A comparison of the original line of printer script with the modified line of printer script is generated and printed, displayed or saved to a storage device.
HINGE AND HINGE MONITORING METHOD
Provided is a hinge that can prevent a defect, a failure, or the like with greater certainty, and enables inspection and repair work to be efficiently carried out. A hinge comprises a first wing member that is connected to a first connection object and a second wing member that is connected to a second connection object. The hinge rotatably connects the second connection object to the first connection object. The hinge comprises a sensor that detects a change inside the hinge or in a prescribed external environment change in the external environment detected by the sensor to the outside via a sensor that detects a prescribed component constituting an odor, a gas sensor that detects a prescribed gas, a dust sensor that detects the amount of dust, and a illumination sensor that detects brightness.
