Method and system for a confidential scan of a document
A system and method for performing confidential scanning of a document are provided. Initially, a request from user for a confidential scan of a document through a scanner device associated with the confidential scan system may be received. Further, a first credential may be received from the user. The user may be authenticated based on the first credential data. Upon the authentication, the document may be stored as a hidden document in a predefined path for the confidential scan of the document.
PHOTOGRAPHY SYSTEM TO ORGANIZE DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE SUBJECTS THEREIN
A photographic processing system in which subject and other data is stored and such data is automatically linked to photographs taken using either a film or digital camera.
Information processing device, image reading apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium storing program for scanning based on a code image
An information processing device includes: a scanner that performs scanning of a read image of a document and detects a code image included in a scanned region, which is a region where the scanning is completed; and a setting unit that sets, based on the code image detected by the scanner, a scanning region when the scanner scans an unscanned region, in which the scanning by the scanner has not been performed yet.
Multifunction peripheral system and control method of multifunction peripheral system for providing printing information based on printing verification information
A multifunction peripheral system includes a server and a multifunction peripheral. The server is configured to access printing information from a first electronic device, and is further configured to generate printing verification information corresponding to the printing information. The multifunction peripheral has a communication connection with the server. The multifunction peripheral is configured to access a detectable identifier, which comprises information to be verified, from a second electronic device, and the multifunction peripheral further configured to ask the server the printing information according to the detectable identifier. When the information to be verified is identical to the printing verification information, the server provides the printing information to the multifunction peripheral.
System and method for metallic object detection in a media transport system
A system and method of detecting the presence of metallic objects in media to be conveyed in a medium transport system is disclosed. One or more metal detectors are included in the medium transport system to detect the presence of metal in the medium being transported. Signals from the metal detectors are sent to a system processor, which analyzes the signals, and produces proximity, duration, and/or intensity values therefrom. One or more microphones may also be included which detect the sound created as the medium is being transported. The processor computes sound values from the microphone signals, and analyzes the computed sound values along with the proximity, duration, and/or intensity values in order determine if the conveyance of the medium along the transport path should be stopped due to the presence of metal in the media or a jam occurring within the medium transport path.

System for applying a mark to an object in an object holder of a direct-to-object printer
What is disclosed is system which facilitates the application of a mark to a surface of an object in a direct-to-object print system and a direct-to-object print system configured to use various embodiments of the present marking system. The present marking system comprises a camera for capturing an image of an object retained by an object holder configured to slideably traverse a support member positioned to be parallel to a plane formed by at least one printhead configured to eject in onto a surface of the object. A processor receives an image of an object held and communicates the image to a display. A mark to be printed on the object is retrieved and overlaid on the object in the image. A location of the overlaid mark is determined and communicated to a controller which causes the printhead to print the mark on the object at the location.
MOBILE TERMINAL THAT PERFORMS NEAR FIELD WIRELESS COMMUNICATION, CONTROL METHOD FOR THE MOBILE TERMINAL, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A mobile terminal capable of securely achieving log-in to a desired MFP. The mobile terminal detects at least one image processing apparatus which performs near field wireless communication. The mobile terminal transmits, to a detected image processing apparatus, user information used to log into the image processing apparatus. The mobile terminal displays, in a case where a plurality of image processing apparatus is detected, a selection screen through which a user selects an image processing apparatus to be logged in by using the user information.
Image inspection apparatus and image forming system
An image inspection apparatus includes: a storage that stores output image data used in forming an image on a paper sheet; a conveyor that conveys the paper sheet; a reader that reads the image during conveyance, and generates read image data; a determiner that compares pixels in the read image data with corresponding pixels in the output image data, and determines whether the read image data matches the output image data; a circulator that circulates the paper sheet, and returns the paper sheet to the reader; and a controller that controls the circulator to circulate the paper sheet and return the paper sheet to the reader when a mismatch is detected by the determiner, wherein the reader generates circulated read image data when the paper sheet is circulated and conveyed, and the determiner determines whether the image is normal or abnormal depending on the result of comparison.
Image forming system and image forming apparatus
An image forming system of an embodiment includes a terminal device that transmits first print data to print an image in monochrome, second print data to print the image in color and a user ID; a print data storage section that stores the first print data, the second print data and the user ID transmitted from the terminal device in an associated manner; an authentication section that authenticates a user; a list acquisition section that acquires a list including the first and second print data associated with the user ID of the user authenticated by the authentication section; a print data acquisition section that acquires one print data selected from the acquired list by the list acquisition section; and an image forming section that prints an image formed with the print data acquired by the print data acquisition section.
