WEARABLE EXERCISE APPARATUSES
20200139190 · 2020-05-07 ·

An exercise apparatus includes a pair of apparatuses wearable on feet of a user. Each apparatus is configurable between expanded configurations and compressed configurations to simulate a selected motion when the user wearing the pair of apparatuses travels by foot. One of the apparatuses can move towards an expanded configuration while the other apparatus moves towards a compressed configuration.

Magnetically-controlled damping device

A magnetically-controlled damping device has a fixing disk, a rotating disk, a plurality of friction-proof sleeves, a plurality of brake shoes, a plurality of magnets, an elastic element, and an operating element. The rotating disk has a plurality of guiding rods sleeved by the friction-proof sleeves respectively. By adjusting a distance between the magnets and a rotating wheel, a damping value of the magnetically-controlled damping device can be adjusted. Moreover, since the friction-proof sleeves are between the guiding rods and the guiding grooves, the guiding rods do not wear out. The magnetically-controlled damping device can provide a more stable damping value and a longer service life.

Controlling an exercise machine includes receiving a stream of measurements of extension of a component of an exercise machine. It further includes characterizing the stream of measurements including detecting at least one extremum having at least one extremum parameter. It further includes matching the extremum parameter with a previously determined signature associated with a user. It further includes changing an output of the exercise machine based at least in part on the match.

An exercise machine includes a first and second vertical member extending from a base section. A moveable section is mounted to said first and second vertical members and is configured to move vertically along said first and second vertical members as well as horizontally. A third and fourth vertical member also extend from said base section. A first and second functional training device are mounted to said third and fourth vertical members, respectively, and are configured to be selectively secured at various locations along the same. At least one cable connects a resistance device to the moveable section as well as to the functional training devices.

DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING THE HEAD OF A PERSON AND COMBINATION OF A TRAINING APPARATUS AND A DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING THE HEAD OF A PERSON
20240058640 · 2024-02-22 · ·

A device for supporting the head of a person, having at least two lips that are placed around a first main axis and around a second main axis oriented perpendicular to the first main axis and that form, together with at least one securing system, a closed curve with a hollow space formed therein for supporting the person's head. The securing system can be designed, by matching a circumference of the curve, to form a homogeneously acting positive engagement or frictional engagement between the lips and the person's head. Also, a combination of a training apparatus and a device for supporting the head of a person is provided.

WEARABLE ASSISTANCE DEVICES AND METHODS OF OPERATION
