An operation apparatus operates an electronic device. The operation apparatus includes a receiver configured to receive a first image from the electronic device; an image generator configured to generate a second image including the first image received by the receiver; a message setter configured to set a message corresponding to a status of the electronic device, with respect to the first image included in the second image; a display configured to display the second image; and a voice sound outputter configured to output, by voice sound, the message set with respect to the first image, in response to a user operating the first image included in the second image being displayed.

An information processing system includes a first display control unit and a second display control unit. The first display control unit displays, on a display unit, a button on which a setting value of a program is displayed. The second display control unit starts up the program when the button is pressed and, in accordance with the started program, displays, on the display unit, a setting screen that corresponds to the button being pressed.

An image processing device according to an embodiment includes a display unit that displays a FAX destination registration screen having a destination registration region and a destination input region in which a plurality of selectable FAX destinations are displayed. An input unit configured receives a destination registration input with respect to the destination input region, the destination registration input indicating a selected FAX destination from the plurality of selectable FAX destinations. The input unit also receives a transmission input. In response to the destination registration input, a control unit controls the display unit to display a plurality of FAX destinations, including the selected FAX destination, in the destination registration region. In response to the transmission input, the control unit transmits an image to each FAX destination displayed in the destination registration region.

An apparatus and a method are provided. The method includes measuring, by a mobile terminal, a signal strength of advertising packets broadcast by an image forming apparatus, determining whether the measured signal strength decreases for at least a preset period of time, and, when the signal strength decreases for at least the preset period of time, transmitting a logout request to the image forming apparatus.

The prohibited setting item corresponds to a setting item that is prohibited from being set up in combination with a selected setting item for which a value has been set up in response to an operation made with respect to a selected display component corresponding to the selected setting item. If the prohibited setting item is included among the plurality of setting items, the processor further implements a process of changing the position of a non-configurable display component corresponding to the prohibited setting item within the image.

The display device includes a mode shift control unit, a storage control unit, and a display control unit. The mode shift control unit performs such control that if a first condition is satisfied in a first mode, a display screen is not displayed and the first mode shifts to a second mode, and that if a second condition is satisfied in the second mode, the display screen is displayed and the second mode shifts to the first mode. In response to the transmission input, the control unit transmits an image to each FAX destination displayed in the destination registration region.

A printing apparatus includes a printer configured to print a character on a printing medium, a display including multiple individual display areas arranged in a particular order, and a controller. The controller is configured to display one of a character image and an icon on each of the multiple individual display areas, the character image being an image indicating the character, the icon corresponding to a control code indicating a process related to a print control of the character, and control printing performed by the printer based on a target code and a target character, the target code being a control code corresponding to the icons displayed in the individual display areas, the target characters being characters indicated by the character images displayed in the individual display areas.
