Print system for printing pictures and/or documents
The invention relates to a printing system for printing images and/or documents with at least a first printing module. To allow flexible setting up, the printing module has a cuboidal housing with a top part, a bottom part, a front part, a rear part and two side parts, the top part with the bottom part and also the two side parts forming a body, which is closed on the front side by the front part and on the rear side by the rear part, a receiving space for a printer being formed within the body and an operator interface and also a removal opening, connected to a removal compartment, for the print media coming out of the printer being formed in the front part.
Image reading apparatus
An image reading apparatus includes a medium support section that supports a medium to be fed, a reading unit that performs reading on the medium fed from the medium support section, and a mounting section on which the medium to be set on the medium support section is mountable, the mounting section being located outside of a main body including the reading unit.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A printer includes a restrictor that is configured to switch between a restricted state that restricts a scanner unit from pivoting in an opening direction from a closed state in which the scanner unit is closed with respect to the casing, and a free state that allows the scanner unit to pivot in the opening direction from the closed state, and that enters the restricted state when the panel unit is set to a first orientation and enters the free state when the panel unit in the first orientation pivots by a predetermined angle to be in a second orientation.
SCANNING DEVICE AND MULTIFUNCTION PRINTER INCLUDING THE SAME
A scanning device includes an outer shell, a glass platform, a contact image sensor, a paper feeding unit and an upper cover. An inside of the outer shell has an accommodating space. The glass platform is disposed to the outer shell. The glass platform includes an automatic paper fed and scanned area, and a static paper scan area. The contact image sensor is disposed in the accommodating space. The paper feeding unit is disposed to a top surface of the automatic paper fed and scanned area. The upper cover is pivotally disposed to a top surface of the static paper scan area. A top surface of the upper cover is recessed downward to form a paper loading groove.
Image forming apparatus capable of communicating with a modality
An image forming apparatus includes: a memory that stores a setting for a first process in association with an identifier; a receiver that receives the identifier, image data, and a request for a second process from a host apparatus capable of requesting the second process but incapable of requesting the first process; and a processor that performs the first process on a basis of the image data according to the setting stored in association with the identifier.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus in which at least part of an image scanner is disposed in an area below an original discharge unit and above an image forming unit.
Scanner and scanner data generating method
A scanner includes: a first mirror having a plurality of concavities configured to reflect light from a document; a sensor group having a sensor chip with a photoelectric conversion element line configured to detect light reflected by the concavity; and an aperture member having a plurality of apertures corresponding one-to-one to the concavities and disposed between the first mirror and the sensor group on an optical path of light reflected by the concavity; the equivalent f-number of the aperture being 6 or greater.
IMAGE READING DEVICE
An image reading device comprises a document table having a plate-shaped transparent member for a document to be placed thereon, an image reading unit for reading the document placed on the upper surface of the transparent member from the lower surface side of the transparent member, a carriage for driving the image reading unit to move reciprocally, and a case for containing the carriage. The document table has a frame member along a periphery of the transparent member and is secured to the case by engagement right under the frame member.
Image forming apparatus and image forming system
An image forming apparatus includes a printer unit; at least one of a copier unit and a facsimile unit; a lockable tray with a lock, to store a recording medium; an image formation controller to control at least one of the printer unit, the copier unit, and the facsimile unit in response to a request from a user. In response to a print request for printing using the lockable tray, the image formation controller determines whether the print request is from a user authorized to use the lockable tray based on association information between the lockable tray and the user authorized, and causes the printer unit to perform printing when the print request is from the user authorized. When the request is directed to the copier or facsimile unit, the image formation controller prohibits the copier or facsimile unit from performing printing using the lockable tray.
Medium transport device and image reading apparatus
There is provided a medium transport device including a placement section on which a medium is placed, a transport path through which the medium is transported, a feeding roller that feeds the medium, a set guide configured to switch between a contact position where the medium and the feeding roller are brought into contact and a separation position where the medium and the feeding roller are separated, a restricting section configured to switch between a restricting position for restricting feeding of the medium by coming into contact with a leading end of the medium and an allowing position for allowing the feeding of the medium, and a drive source that generates power for switching of the set guide and switching of the restricting section. The set guide and the restricting section are provided below the transport path in a direction of gravity.
