SHEET SEPARATION DEVICE, LAMINATOR, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet separation device separates a non-bonding portion of a two-ply sheet in which two sheets are overlapped and bonded together at a bonding portion of the two-ply sheet. The sheet separation device includes a separator, an abnormality detection device, and circuitry. The separator is configured to move to be inserted into a gap formed between the two sheets of the two-ply sheet. The abnormality detection device is configured to detect an abnormal state in which the gap larger than a predetermined size is not formed between the two sheets before the separator is inserted into the gap. The circuitry is configured to control movement of the separator based on a result detected by the abnormality detection device.
Adjustable connection between an assistive device and a wearable device
The present disclosure relates to the field of wearable devices, and in particular to a connector for a wearable device, an assistive device, a wearable device, and a kit. The connector comprises a first connecting component and a second connecting component, wherein the first connecting component comprises a first engaging member, the second connecting component comprises a second engaging member, and the first connecting component and the second connecting component are connected to each other by means of the mating between the first engaging member and the second engaging member and can rotate relative to each other into a separable position and an engaged position. The connector of the present disclosure can solve the technical problem that the mounting angle of the assistive device relative to the wearable device cannot be flexibly and conveniently adjusted and cannot be maintained in each adjustment shift.
PRINTING DEVICE INCLUDING A NON-CONTACT MEMORY TAG TO DETECT FRAUDULENT USE THEREOF
A printing device, comprising a frame, an image-forming module, a non-volatile memory (NVM), a control operatively arranged to read the NVM incidental to controlling the printing device, and a first tag connected to the frame, the first tag holding information relating to a configuration of the printing device.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS ON WHICH CARD READER IS MOUNTABLE
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming portion configured to form an image on a sheet; a mounting portion on which an IC card reader which includes a lighting portion where light indicating an operation state comes on and which is used for user authentication is mounted; a reader cover mounted on the mounting portion and covering the IC card reader, wherein the reader cover is provided with a plurality of openings, either one of the openings opposing the lighting portion of the IC card reader; and a light transmission sheet provided on the reader cover and covering the openings, wherein transmittance of visible light for the light transmission sheet is 5% or more and 25% or less.
MODULAR SCANNER SUBASSEMBLY
A modular scanner sub-assembly (SSA) is provided for use with scanners and multi-functional devices (e.g., multi-function printers). The SSA includes a tub and a flatbed imaging surface that is attached onto a top end of the tub. The modular SSA includes multiple scanner components that are operatively assembled within the tub to enable scanner functionality when the scanner or multifunction device is made operative.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a reverse path for reversing a surface of a medium, a second medium transport path for guiding the medium on which recording has been performed to the reverse path, a third medium transport path which is positioned vertically below the second medium transport path and guides the medium on which recording has been performed to the reverse path, in which a first path forming portion that forms the reverse path, a second path forming portion that forms a part of an upper side of the second medium transport path, and a third path forming portion that forms a part of an upper side of the third medium transport path are constituted to be attachable and detachable as a unit body, and a part of the second medium transport path and a part of the third medium transport path are exposed by removing the unit body.
Sensor system, information processing device, and sensor management method
The disclosure provides a technique for facilitating management of image sensors having a modular structure. A sensor system includes image sensors and an information processing device connected to the image sensors via a network. Each of the components of each image sensor is provided with a non-volatile memory for storing specific information on the component. The information processing device includes an information acquisition part for acquiring the information stored in the memory of the component constituting the image sensor from each of the image sensors via the network, and a management processing part for performing a predetermined process related to management of the image sensors by using the information acquired by the information acquisition part.
Media processing apparatus in recording system including separate units with non-overlapping processing portions
A media processing apparatus includes a first unit including a first receiving portion that receives media, a first processing portion that performs first processing on the media received from the first receiving portion, and a sending portion that sends out media received from the first receiving portion without passing through the first processing portion; and a first tray that is provided outside the first unit and that receives media discharged from the first unit after the first processing has been performed thereon, in which the first unit is configured such that the second unit is detachably attached below the first tray, the second unit including a second receiving portion configured to receive the media sent from the sending portion and a second processing portion that performs second processing on the media received from the second receiving portion.
Display device, document reading device, and image forming apparatus
A display device includes a non-translucent cover, a light source provided inside the cover, and a translucent light display that is transmissive to light from the light source. The light display has a protrusion disposed in a through opening of the cover. The protrusion fitted into the through opening from the inside spans a first side surface and a second side surface of the cover, and protrudes outward from the outer surface of the cover to form a light guide. The light guide has a smaller thickness in a corner portion corresponding to a connection region between the first side surface and the second side surface than in other portions thereof.
Sheet processing apparatus
A handle mounted to a shaft with a fixing member has a first surface that comes in contact with the shaft and receives an operation force applied to the handle and a second surface in which the fixing member is arranged.
