Recording device with integrated placement surface and guide surface
A recording device includes an imaging module that reads a sheet placed in a reading position, a placement surface at which the sheet is placed, a first guide surface that guides an edge in the width direction of the sheet placed on the placement surface, and a nip roller pair that nips the sheet on the placement surface to transport the sheet to the reading position. The placement surface includes a first placement surface including the reading position, and a second placement surface not including the reading position, and the first placement surface, the first guide surface, and the nip roller pair move in an integrated manner.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a frame, a top plate cover removable from the frame and having a top surface portion constituting a part of a top surface of the image forming apparatus, and a screw. The frame includes an upper surface portion opposite to the top surface portion, a front surface portion provided at a front side with respect to the upper surface portion, and a back surface portion provided at a back side with respect to the upper surface portion and provided with a through-hole. The top plate cover includes a first mounting portion fixed to the front surface portion, and a second mounting portion provided at a back side with respect to the first mounting portion and inserted into the through-hole. The screw is inserted in a front-back direction to fix the front surface portion of the frame and the first mounting portion.
Hardware encoder
A hardware encoder includes a chassis including at least one vent cut into a first surface of the chassis. The hardware encoder further includes an input interface disposed within the chassis and configured to receive a media signal. The hardware encoder further includes encoding circuitry disposed within the chassis and configured to encode the media signal to generate a media stream. The hardware encoder further includes a network interface disposed within the chassis and configured to send the media stream to a publishing destination. The hardware encoder further includes a bezel attached to the first surface of the chassis and enabling a view of a display screen. A portion of the bezel extrudes in a direction away from the first surface to enable airflow into the at least one vent.
AUTO CLOSING OF INPUT DEVICE OR OUTPUT DEVICE
An example auto closing apparatus may include a holder, a cam member to rotate, according to a movement of the holder, between a lock position at which the holder is inserted and an unlock position at which the holder is discharged, and an elastic member to provide a restoring force to rotate the cam member to rotate between the unlock position and the lock position.
Transport apparatus and image forming apparatus
A transport apparatus includes: an apparatus body; an opening and closing unit attached to the apparatus body so as to be openable and closable between a closed position where an upper surface of the apparatus body is covered and an open position where the upper surface of the apparatus body is exposed, the opening and closing unit including, inside the opening and closing unit, a transport path along which a target material is transported; a transport path member that has a transport path surface constituting a part of the transport path, is rotatably supported by the opening and closing unit at one end portion side of the transport path member, and is configured such that the transport path is opened when the other end portion side of the transport path member moves downward from the opening and closing unit; and a hook portion that is rotatably attached to the other end portion side of the transport path member, is configured to hold the transport path member in a closed state of the transport path, in a hooked state in which the hook portion is hooked on a hooked portion of the opening and closing unit, based on a force applied toward a first rotation direction along which the hook portion is hooked to the hooked portion, and is configured to rotate in a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction by coming into contact with the hooked portion while the transport path member is pushed upward by the upper surface of the apparatus body when the opening and closing unit is moved from the open position to the closed position in a non-hooked state in which the hook portion is not hooked on the hooked portion.
READING APPARATUS
A reading apparatus, having a platen glass, a document cover, a conveyer, a reading sensor, a document supporting member, a pressing plate, and a linkage assembly, is provided. The document cover is movable between an open position and a closed position. The document supporting member is movable between a first position, where the document supporting member faces a reading surface of the reading sensor, and a second position, where the document supporting member is separated from the reading surface. The pressing plate is movable between a third position, where the pressing plate is attached to a lower side of the document cover, and a fourth position, where the pressing plate is removed from the lower side. The linkage assembly moves the document supporting member from the first position to the second position in conjunction with the pressing member moving from the third position to the fourth position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
Provided is an image-forming device with which it is possible to achieve a smaller size while suppressing a reduction in visibility or operability of an operation panel. In this image-forming device, paper sheets are discharged from the rear side of the device toward the front side of the device, and the image formation device is provided with: a paper-sheet-loading unit in which the paper sheets are loaded; an operation panel disposed on the downstream-side end in the paper sheet discharge direction of the paper-sheet-loading unit, at least a part of the operation panel being disposed in a loading region of the paper-sheet-loading unit; and a protruding part disposed to the side of the operation panel in the loading region, the protruding part protruding upward from the top surface of the paper-sheet-loading unit, and extending in the paper sheet discharge direction.
ULTRASONIC DEVICE
An ultrasonic device includes an ultrasonic element configured to perform at least one of transmission of an ultrasonic wave along a first axis and reception of the ultrasonic wave input along the first axis, and a protective member provided on the first axis to cover the ultrasonic element. The protective member has a first surface provided with at least one hole through which the ultrasonic wave travelling along the first axis passes, and a second surface intersecting with the first surface and provided with a first opening through which foreign matter entering from the at least one hole is discharged.
READING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF READING APPARATUS, AND COMPLEX MACHINE
A reading apparatus includes a reading part that reads information of a document, a housing that accommodates the reading part, a document feeding port through which the document is fed, a cover member disposed on the housing to be displaced to an open position at which the document feeding port is open and a closed position at which the document feeding port is closed, a drive source that displaces the cover member to the open position and the closed position, a position detection mechanism that detects a position of the cover member, and a control part, wherein the control part is configured to displace the cover member to the closed position by the drive source when a time during which reading by the reading part is not performed exceeds a predetermined time, and the position detection mechanism detects that the cover member is at the open position.
Recording device
A recording device includes a first cover that is movable with respect to a recording unit that performs recording on a sheet, and that moves to a first open position for opening a space where the recording medium to be recorded by the recording unit is transported, and to a first closed position for closing the space, and a second cover movable with respect to the first cover. A movement direction of the first cover includes the same directional component as a movement direction of the second cover with respect to the recording unit, and a first coupling portion that couples the first cover and the second cover is provided in the recording device.
