An apparatus includes a portable case, and a slide-out printer is connected to the portable case. The slide-out printer is connected so as to slide in and out of the portable case. The slide-out printer includes a scanner, and the scanner includes a platen. The apparatus also includes a slide-out shredder connected to the portable case. The slide-out shredder is similarly connected to slide in and out of the portable case.

A booth that is available for use when reserved and that is installed with an image forming apparatus accommodated therein, the booth including a panel having a first opening through which the image forming apparatus accommodated in the booth is operable by a person who has entered the booth; and a panel having a second opening through which the image forming apparatus accommodated in the booth is operable by a person from outside the booth.

An example of an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a mounting mechanism to engage with a portable computing device. The portable computing device is to rest on a surface. The apparatus also includes a camera connected to the mounting mechanism. The camera is to scan an area on the surface. In addition, the apparatus includes a projection unit connected to the mounting mechanism, wherein the projection unit is to project an image on the surface. The apparatus includes a communication interface in communication with the camera and the projection unit. The communication interface is to communicate with the portable computing device.

A system for acquiring multi-angle images of a product includes a workstation having a working surface for placing a product, a camera supporting member having a vertical axis, and an image capturing device movably attached to the camera supporting member so that it may move along the vertical axis of the camera supporting member. The system captures and analyzes a digital image of a product to detect the vertical center of the product, and adjusts the position of the image capturing device along the vertical axis so that the vertical center of the product is proximate to the vertical center of the image. The system may also have a turntable and additionally rotate the turntable at multiple capturing angles and capture one or more additional digital images of the product at various capturing angles and store the one or more additional images in a product database.

A system for acquiring multi-angle images of a product includes a workstation having a working surface for placing a product, a camera supporting member having a vertical axis, and an image capturing device movably attached to the camera supporting member so that it may move along the vertical axis of the camera supporting member. The system captures and analyzes a digital image of a product to detect the vertical center of the product, and adjusts the position of the image capturing device along the vertical axis so that the vertical center of the product is proximate to the vertical center of the image. In a scanner, a medium transport apparatus includes an apparatus main body including a medium transport path from a supply unit, which supplies a medium, to a discharge unit, which discharges the medium, a switcher that switches an attitude of the apparatus main body with respect to a mounting surface on which the apparatus main body is mounted, and a controller that, when the attitude of the apparatus main body with respect to the mounting surface is switched, performs control in accordance with the attitude after the switching.

An image reading apparatus includes a support section in contact with a mounting surface on which the apparatus is mounted, an apparatus body including a reader, the apparatus body, and a position holding section. The position of the apparatus body can be switched between a first position in which the apparatus body is not in use and a second position in which the apparatus body reads a document using the reader, and in which a projected area of the apparatus body on the mounting surface is larger than that in the first position, and the center of gravity of the apparatus body is lower than or equal to a rotation axis center of the apparatus body in a vertical direction viewed in a rotation axis direction of the apparatus body when the apparatus body is in the first position or in the second position.

A foldable camera stand is disclosed which includes an elongated base plate, an imaging device, and an elongated first arm plate with a first end movably coupled to the base plate and a second end pivotally connected to the imaging device, the first end being opposite to the second end, wherein the imaging device and the first arm plate are approximately in the same plane which is substantially parallel to the base plate when the camera stand is in a folded state.
