Limb exercise machine
A limb exercise machine includes a first transmission unit and a second transmission unit. A left-hand control member, as well as a right-foot control member, is connected to the first transmission unit. The left-hand control member and the right-foot control member are pulled by the first transmission unit to be moved synchronously. A right-hand control member, as well as a left-foot control member, is connected to the second transmission unit. The right-hand control member and the left-foot control member are pulled by the second transmission unit to be moved synchronously.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DEFINING CONTROL OF A MOTORIZED EXERCISE DEVICE
Aspects involve an exercise system in which various methods may be practiced. The exercise system facilitates a method of controlling an exercise on a motorized exercise device where the method involves, at a remote computing device, accessing an exercise template including fields associated with an exercise, obtaining a first exercise definition from matching the first exercise template with a first of a plurality of predefined exercises, and providing an exercise definition to a local device for controlling a motorized exercise device, the exercise definition based on matching the exercise template with a first of a plurality of predefined exercises, the exercise definition including a parameter associated with a resistance force that will be used to control a motor of the motorized exercise device when the first exercise is performed at the exercise device.
REVERSE DEADLIFT APPARATUS
The embodiments herein relate to an exercise machine for training the muscles of the whole body while specifically targeting the muscles of the legs and back. Specifically, the embodiments herein relate to a Reverse Deadlift Apparatus which allows a trainee to mimic a barbell type deadlift exercise in a safer and more productive fashion. An additional benefit is that the Reverse Deadlift Apparatus encourages a lifter to use proper technique by requiring them to use more of their legs and less of their lower back during the lift. The result of using the Reverse Deadlift Apparatus on a regular basis is that a lifter will increase the strength and power of the muscles of the whole body and specifically will make improvements in the lower body. The added strength and power, along with optimized Deadlifting form, will help a lifter improve their performance in the actual barbell deadlift itself and in any sports requiring a strength or power component (e.g. Football, Baseball, Martial Arts, Wrestling, Powerlifting, Olympic Lifting, Tennis, etc.).
RESISTANCE TRAINING DEVICE
A resistance training device for hands-free exercising of the back and shoulders includes a frame. A bench is coupled to the frame and is configured to seat a user. A backrest is coupled to the frame proximate to a rear edge of the bench. A pair of arms is pivotally coupled singly to opposing side supports of the frame. A resistor is operationally coupled to the pair of arms. The arms are positioned on the frame such that the arms are configured to abut elbows of the user seated on the bench. The resistor is positioned to resist the user's effort to pivot the arms relative to the frame, thus exercising the back and shoulders of the user without use of the user's hands.
EXERCISE DEVICE AND PRELOADED RESISTANCE PACK
A preloaded resistance pack and exercise device. The resistance pack includes an elastomeric resistance element coupled to a hub and disposed on a plate. The hub includes a pair of radially extending wings that lie against a surface of the plate. The plate includes a pair of raised tabs that lie within a rotational path of the wings. An initial rotation of the hub relative to the plate causes the wings to slide over and beyond the raised tabs and at least partially stretches the resistance element. Interaction between the tabs and wings prevents the hub from rotating back to an initial position and maintains the resistance element in a preloaded, tensioned condition. The exercise device is configured to detect a number of the resistance packs coupled thereto as well as data associated with exercise movements employing the resistance packs.
Exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus includes a mounting assembly and a pulley assembly coupled to the mounting assembly. The pulley assembly includes a first pulley and a second pulley. At least one pulley cable is positioned about the first pulley and the second pulley for movement relative thereto. A body engaging assembly is provided for attachment with the at least one pulley cable.
ACTUATOR AND EXERCISE EQUIPMENT USING SAME
An actuator and an exercise equipment using the same are disclosed. The exercise equipment comprises a post which is a main body of the exercise equipment, a shoulder installed on an upper side of the post and rotates in left and right direction, an arm combined with the shoulder and rotates in up and down direction, a hand combined with one terminal of the arm and rotates by using the arm as an axis, a handle located on one terminal side of the hand, a force control actuator outputs a force corresponding to weight set by a user, and a wire passes via plural sheaves included in the hand, the shoulder and the post and deliver a force generated by pulling of the handle, one terminal of the wire being connected to the handle.
ROWING MACHINE
A rowing machine has a base, a seat, a rotating plate, two oar components, a damping mechanism and a transmission mechanism; the base with a rack and a slope rail; the seat cushion slidably coupled to the rail; the rotating plate with a fixing rotating shaft rotatably assembled to the rack through the rotating shaft; two oar components respectively connected to the two ends of the rotating shaft by unilateral bearings in universal joining way to unilaterally drive the rotating plate to rotate when swinging; the rotation damping mechanism is assembled to the rack; the transmission mechanism assembled between the rotating plate and the damping mechanism to drive a damping wheel of the damping mechanism when the rotating plate rotates.
Compact smart phone enabled system for strength and endurance training
This invention is a portable exercise system capable of performing multiple exercises for strength and endurance training. The key component is the force generation unit (FGU) which is small and light enough to be suspended during the exercise yet capable of producing a force of 50 lbs. The FGU is programmable allowing it to generate various force vs distance, time or velocity profiles. Different handles, cables and attachments can be connected or used with the FGU perform different exercises. The FGU can charge its battery from the user's energy during use. The FGU can communicate bidirectionally with computers and smart phones for setup and to track the user's performance. Multiple FGUs may be used simultaneously each performing a separate function. The entire system is small enough to fit in a drawer or suitcase. The accompanying software can track the user's performance and function as an automated personal trainer.
