HYBRID METHOD OF ACQUIRING 3D DATA USING INTRAORAL SCANNER
A method for imaging a region of interest of patient dentition acquires an intraoral scan and forms a 3D digital model of a first surface contour of patient dentition that includes the region of interest and acquires a physical impression that includes at least the region of interest. The method scans the physical impression and generates a second surface contour of the identified region of interest. The digital model is modified by combining a portion of the second surface contour with the first surface contour over the region of interest. The modified digital model is displayed.
SALES DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EXECUTING DATA PROCESSING OF ARTICLE
A sales data processing apparatus comprises a control module which switches between a first mode for enabling a reading section, which reads a three-dimensional shape of an article and a two-dimensional image of the article, to read the three-dimensional shape of the article and a second mode for reading the two-dimensional image of the article; a calculation module which calculates a delivery charge of the article based on the three-dimensional shape of the article read in the first mode and a list in which the charge is determined for each volume of the article to be delivered; a registration module which registers an amount of the article contained in the two-dimensional image based on the two-dimensional image read in the second mode; and a first display control module which displays the delivery charge calculated by the calculation module or the amount registered by the registration module.
THREE DIMENSIONAL OBJECT DATA
Apparatus and methods for transforming three dimensional object data are disclosed. In some examples, data representing a three dimensional object is received, the data comprising object property data indicative of at least one attribute of at least a portion of the three dimensional object. The object property data is transformed into a plurality of device independent object property data objects having a common data structure, each object property data object comprising a value indicative of each of a predetermined set of object properties.
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage media for collecting color information about an object undergoing a 3D scan
A method of performing a three-dimensional (3D) scan of an object includes applying an optical contrast powder to the object and illuminating the object with light. First and second two-dimensional (2D) color image data corresponding to the object is generated. First and second 2D monochrome image data corresponding to the object is generated using the first and second 2D color image data. 3D data corresponding to the object is generated using the first and second monochrome 2D image data. Color 3D image data corresponding to the object is generated by adding color information to the 3D data. The color 3D image data is displayed.
Data generation system, communication terminal, image forming apparatus, data generation method, and non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium
A data generation system includes circuitry configured to generate data of sub-images constructing an image. Each of the sub-images includes at least one of image elements of the image. The image elements are aligned in a direction perpendicular to a given direction in which an image forming apparatus moves to form the image. The circuitry is configured to, when, in an attempt to add another one of the image elements adjacent to the at least one of the image elements in one of the sub-images, the other one of the image elements does not fit within the one of the sub-images, generate data of the one of the sub-images without the other one of the image elements.
IMAGING METHOD, IMAGING DEVICE, METHOD FOR DISTINGUISHING IMAGING OBJECT, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An imaging device comprises an imaging sensor and a pulsed LED for illuminating an imaging object of the imaging sensor, performs respective imagings according to respective imaging conditions each including an exposure time te of the imaging sensor and a lighting time tr of the pulsed LED, stores respective combinations of brightness index values D1 of respective images obtained by the respective imagings and the imaging conditions of the respective images, obtains estimates of exposure contribution degree k_off indicating degree of influence of variation of the exposure time te on brightness index value and a lighting contribution degree k_on indicating degree of influence of variation of the lighting time tr on brightness index value, based on the stored combinations of the brightness index values D1 and the imaging conditions, and determines an imaging condition to be used in the next imaging based on the estimates of k_on and k_off.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING THREE-DIMENSIONAL INFORMATION OF AN OBJECT FROM RECEIVED ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION
An apparatus and method to produce a hologram of an object includes an electromagnetic radiation assembly configured to receive a received electromagnetic radiation, such as light, from the object. The electromagnetic radiation assembly is further configured to diffract the received electromagnetic radiation and transmit a diffracted electromagnetic radiation. An image capture assembly is configured to capture an image of the diffracted electromagnetic radiation and produce the hologram of the object from the captured image.
Transforming three dimensional object data into object property data objects
Apparatus and methods for transforming three dimensional object data are disclosed. In some examples, data representing a three dimensional object is received, the data comprising object property data indicative of at least one attribute of at least a portion of the three dimensional object. The object property data is transformed into a plurality of device independent object property data objects having a common data structure, each object property data object comprising a value indicative of each of a predetermined set of object properties.
Scanning an object in three dimensions using color dashed line pattern
The disclosure is related to a method and apparatus of scanning a target object in three dimensions (3D). The method may include projecting a color dashed line pattern onto a target object, scanning the target object with the color dashed line pattern projected thereto, and producing a 3D data of the target object by processing the scanning result. The color dashed line pattern may include multiple dashed line patterns each of which is individually used to calculate the 3D data of the target object.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR IDENTIFYING MATERIAL COMPOSITION OF OBJECTS
